Pros This EMR is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Cons It can sometimes freeze the day after an update but is usually then fine. Pros It’s easy to use especially for dermatology. Like drug interactions listed. Easy to prescribe medications. Cons When information gets stuck into the sticky notes and is difficult to remove. Pros Mod Med is easy to use very self explanatory. Cons I wish they had certain aspects for example if you send a bill and there is a mistake you cant fix it you have to recreate the bill. Pros the ease of electronic documentation and not having to find paper charts. Cons some thing are not customizable and sometimes the updates for new medications talk longer to get into the system. Pros I like that we can link the last visit note to the current day's visit, so we dont have to do to much digging for information. Cons \- Freetype would be a better choice. This system requires too much scrolling and clicking, when I could cut time by typing. - I don't like how when I check vision and if the patient was pinholed, the information on the top shows the pinholed vision vs. the original vision. On the iPads it can be a struggle for the patients navigating through the consent forms. We have a lot of elderly patients who even after a walk through do not understand they can't sign the signature line. Then even when they do actually hit sign it is too difficult for them to sign. Even if the signature box was bigger, it could improve the experience. What should be the easiest part of registration is the hardest, most frustrating part. Pros The layout and ease of ModMed is great on desktop. Easy to navigate very user friendly! Cons The process of signing consent forms. More elaboration on this on my overall experience.
