Pros

SIMPLICITY OF THE FINANCIAL AREA. EASY TO WORK WITH.

Cons

REPORTS. NOT ALWAYS EASY TO FIND THE REPORT YOU NEED.

My overall experience with modmed has been amazing. Using it constantly daily has made my role easy.

Pros

Mod med is an amazing and easy platform for documenting a visit. It’s interesting how you can make templates on it making charting so much easier

Cons

When working in a medical office it can be difficult or frustrating when ever the site is down. When the site is down we have to switch to paper style

all the updates, and the down times, having to switch between practice and add on

I have been using Mod Med for over 7 years. It has made charging patients so much easier. Because of the ease, you can spend more time focusing on patients and less time in an iPad.

Pros

The ease of use in charting patients. Any diagnosis leads you to answer questions to better serve the patient

Cons

Sometimes when there are updates, things get stuck and you have to fix it

Pros

Ease of navigation.I feel it is easy to navigate from impression to plan.

Cons

I do not like when working out of my task that it takes me back to page one , task one if I click on the actual task. I wish it would stay at the spot within the task list that I am working.

Excellent! We are looking forward to the new integration with Klara which we feel will enhance the patient experience.

Pros

Modmed is an easy to use platform for both front office staff as well as the provider team. Continuity in flow and accessing records easily is vital in a fast paced clinical environment.

Cons

Reporting is slow and cumbersome. Takes a while to build reports due to lag.

Overall, I am happy with ModMed. A few small tweaks would make it a near perfect EMR.

Pros

Very Ipad user friendly. I like the efficiency for dermatologic issues, that commonly used prescriptions start being autopopulated.

Cons

Desktop version is much more cumbersome for charting. Not as efficient when documenting exam findings on the computer vs ipad. I do wish templates were an option with autopopulated exam findings and prescriptions based on diagnosis template.

Overall, I feel it is a good system. I have used many EMRs in the past and this one is easy to use.

Pros

It is easy to manuever and use. I like the overall body of the progress notes for patients.

Cons

I have a difficult time with the tasks and trying to figure out who received or answered it or if it is still pending.

Implementation team was incredible. Customer service post-implementation is the worst I have ever experienced. I wish we had not adopted ModMed.

Pros

The software works very well in some areas and extremely poorly in others.

Cons

The billing department is the worst I have ever dealt with. They will not speak to the customer and create false invoices in clear violation of the contract. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor.

Overall i love the software. I have learned it like the back of my hand and feel like training is a breeze.

Pros

Ease of use. Ive been using ModMed for over 8 years and have enjoyed the simple interface and the thoroughness that it provides.

Cons

The new update has forced us to enter in multiple duplicate meds and allergies which causes a delay in entering charts. Causes a delay in clinic.

Overall my experience with modmed is has been helpful to me as well as the patient. I feel there is so much information that we can learn and have already learned. Everything we need to know is in Modmed, concerning our patients although I feel like there should be a simpler avenue to retrieve that information.

Pros

With Modmed, I do like how we have access to Patient's important information that we need to provide their quality of service

Cons

The least I liked about modmed is the amount of digging into the patient's chart to make sure their we have all of their correct information and verifying insurance

i like the simplicity of alternating between different areas on the site within the patient's chart.

I dislike the number of steps it takes to print out face sheets. you should not have to go into two screens to print

Super easy to use, when I receive a task, I like how we can leave a note.

Cons

When it comes to Eligibility, it now has caution msg on every insurance, even when there is no problem

Pros

I like that the system is easy to use for both employees & patients.

Cons

I do wish the patient portal could be more useful for patients & staff, regarding sending patients information, completing forms, & contacting medical staff.

Pros

The ease of use for the front desk (scheduling and posting of payments) and clinical notes for new and existing patients.

global period management, getting properly setup for era/eft

Excellent user interface for payment posters. I love the Financial tab and organization of Payer Payments.

Pros

I love the user interface. I also like that the tool bar across the top has so much information in it. From a payment posters side, the Financial tab is well organized.

Cons

I do not like that there is not an amount Seach function when you are in the ERA tab of posting payer payments. This would be a great add on. Also to be able to run more financial reports for the average user.

ok but could be better in running reports for collections need more options for letter writing and collection data to show doctors.

Pros

scheduling system is easy to work with. Close out end of the day reports are very good.

Cons

collections tabs a little hard to figure out and run reports.

it has been a wonderful experience with modmed. It is an easy system and the codes are made while note is comepleted.

Pros

how easy it is to use, how the note is built from just clicks, the codes are included and not is built easy.

Cons

does not save if more than 2 people in chart, We cannot complete path log from chart on tablet, we have to use actual computer.
