Automation of tasks which were identified as part of overall Business Process Improvement.

Pros

1\. Very user-friendly as most users were able to start using the tool with 2-3 weeks of training. 2. The overall cost of implementation is less and we have used it to automate and implement automation for many internal processes.

Cons

The Cloud version of this tool is not available.

Pros

The software is very easy to use and can be mastered within a month. The Customer care is responsive and proficient in understanding your doubts.

Cons

The blog or the online developers community posts are very old and need to be updated by the professionals. Online community must be strengthened. System dependencies should be mentioned and easily available to the new developers.

The overall experience with AA has been very interesting, and we have looked at automating the processes in the apparel industry. With a streamlined process, Automation Anywhere can be used as a great tool for automation.

Pros

I have been assessing Automation Anywhere in order to automate the processes in my organization. I really like the IQ Bot feature as we receive a lot of printed documents and we have to manually enter them into the systems. With IQ Bot, it's only a matter of scanning the document.

Cons

Even though IQ Bot can extract data from scanned copies, it's only capable in doing so for the system generated clear ones. The documents which are hand written cannot be read even if the text is clear. It will be great if this can also be included in future.

Citrix AI sense is the most valuable concept in AA. And meta bot is also an important component.

I automated one of my clients (Manufacturing giant in USA) process using RPA. I specifically used the product for the SAP processes. The client was so impressed that they considered it for all other existing process as well and not standalone SAP applications.

The software is easy to use. Not only its GUI is comfortable to use but its tools are even handy.

Cons

The software is easy for every technology but somehow I feel it still has some scope of improvement specifically considering SAP applications.

I have experience or evaluated few more RPA products. And so far, I have very good experience and really liking this product compared to other RPA vendors.

Pros

It really takes very less time to develop a bot and deploy it in production. Concept of Metabot helps to extend the already feature rich AA to extend beyond limitless boundary. IQBot concept is very much essential for the current trend and I'm happy to see a product with all these capabilities with real ease of development and quick time to market.

Cons

More aligned to VB. Would be great if Java integration be made easy Straight JSON parsing not available

I've been studying Automation Anywhere for a while, the software works greatly for simple automations that I've made until now. At the beginning, you will suffer a little bit to understand how the software and features work, since the user interface it's kind of messy.

Pros

You can easily understand how your automation it's organized. The "Action List" is a little better view of how your automation works and how it's programmed.

Cons

The Control Room, as from my view, is a little bit confused when you see it for the first time and you might spend some time to understand it.

My overall experience with Automation Anywhere is great! The reports which I had to create manually and send via email daily is now no more a big task for me. As I have automated the process using Automation Anywhere, it saved my lot of time.

Pros

The software is very easy to use, even people from non technical background can easily work on the software. It helps in automating our monotonous work. Great software to work with.

Cons

However there is not much cons about the software, but only one thing. Only one month trial version is available. It would be good if 3 months of trial version will be available so that people can practice more.

The fact that it requires a lot of computing power to get started. I personally believe that there could be potential for a smaller / starter version without the infrastructure management hassles that could help developers just focus on developing for business cases rather than spending time on sizing and setting up the infrastructure required.

IQBots Feels like working with an IDE Control Room is easy and understandable Able to customize with vb and JavaScript

Cons

MS Office compatibility has room for improvement, specially working with Excel which is present in about 90% projects to automate
