### "Number One for Customer Support"

Cezanne HR has helped us keep accurate and controlled HR data, and manage absences, leave, and performance seamlessly. The comprehensive Help section provides invaluable training for Administrators.

Pros

Cezanne HR is great software for managing HR data and facilitating manager and employee self-service. It has it's own unique features, but overall is a fairly similar product to others in it's field. Where Cezanne HR really stands out, though, is with it's Customer Service! There are multiple methods for users and administrators to contact support, and all being highly responsive, friendly and informative. Cezanne HR values it's customers highly and welcomes product improvement suggestions through their "Ideas Forum", where they seriously consider the possibilities of every suggestion, with many being rolled into system changes in their monthly updates.

Cons

The configuration for Performance Appraisals can be a little clunky. each step must be done in order, before getting to the end and testing the form. If you need to change the first step, you then have to roll back every following step and start again. That said, when you do get it right, it produces a fantastic user experience for the employees and managers.

### "Excellent Intuitive System"

Absolutely excellent experience. We did not have a previous HR system only a bolt-on module, so we didn't know what we needed necessarily. Cezanne guided us through from the first day and still provides regular support nearly two years on in terms of how to best utilise the functionality. They've just launched 'tasty bites' which are 'bite-sized' trainings on specific functions in the system that they are running regularly.

Pros

Cezanne is incredibly easy to use, and very intuitive in terms of where to find things. Some of the process flows take a bit of understanding but once one is understood the rest are easy to set up. The gradual role out with additional modules makes it a very easy transition to using Cezanne, and the staff from implementation to ongoing support have been nothing but helpful.

Cons

Some of the administrator aspects could be more user friendly, but once understood they are fine. There are a couple of bits (like downloading forms built in the system) that would be great but these have been raised on the ideas forum and the dev team are reviewing.

### "An adequate HR website that suffers from many minor issues"

Cezanne has by and large improved the HR experience here, however a large part of this is due to how poor it was before Cezanne. This is a great idea, with good ideas, that sadly falls short of the mark when considering user function.

Pros

This software makes it easy to contact my company regarding sickness/annual leave/working from home/etc and provides a nice tracker to show exactly how many days I have taken, and, regarding annual leave, how many I have left. The Dashboard is useful for showing a brief overview of everything I have on there, such as unfinished tasks which is a useful reminder. From a management position it is useful as it allows the review of all employee's absences from one location and provides historical evidence of this. Reports on Starters/Leavers are available via email

Cons

Many small issues with the software and the support team. The absence forms are unwieldy and could be greatly improved. One of the greatest improvements that could be made would be the removal of the redundant "OK" button on the absence request form as it literally serves no purpose. The Save button saves it, the Submit Request button submits it, the OK button tricks users into thinking something has been done. The Website itself is somewhat slow to load certain forms however this is manageable. The Home button is simply the Cezanne logo - inexperienced users might struggle to find this. When arranging leave, whether sickness or annual, I need to confirm that my co-workers can cover my shift, Cezanne does not appear to offer any means of CC'ing a co-worker in to the request which would be extremely useful. As a member of IT I require reports regarding Starters and Leavers from Cezanne - these are provided, however expire after a single opening of the link. I appreciate this is for security purposes, however a password protected document would achieve the same aim without totally wiping the data, often requiring re-sending of the email. On certain users in the office Cezanne simply does not work on Internet Explorer and though the support team was contacted several times no fix was ever found. I simply had to install Chrome on each users computer to get it working, however this is suboptimal as IE is the company standard as Chrome cannot be limited so easily.

We agree with you that the OK button on the absence form is confusing. It is going to be removed shortly (and some other improvements made to this area). However, ii sounds as if a number of the issues you mention ¿ such as the logo, reports and team calendars - could be down to the way that your system is set up. They¿d also be keen to understand the issues you mention with IE as we work hard to make sure the Cezanne HR runs well in all of the modern browsers. Report generating helps to monitor absenteeism but also presenteeism. The appraisal process is very straightforward to use.

Pros

The reports we can generate are so helpful re: inclusion & diversity, absence monitoring, holidays remaining etc. I like how you can make changes in real time and can also prompt people to update their information too.

Cons

We are still working on integrations with Google and Outlook as it's proving to be a little tricky with the current software that we have.

Pros

The forms are a nice feature as it's helped us to keep everything in one place. The approvals work nicely, especially for recruitment considering it's not an ATS.

Cons

Not everything is logical and it's easy to get stuck sometimes when setting up new processes. The integration was not as smooth as we had hoped, but this was rectified once we raised a concern.

### "Great, easy to use and does so much more than you think"

I really enjoy using this, it is a pleasure to use. Set up is very straightforward and doesn't take too long, provided you give them all the information required.I would say I find things out as I go as sometimes you find the system does something you didn't know, which is great. I'm looking forward to implementing more of the modules.

Pros

I like the simplicity of the product. It is very easy to use and makes it easy for employees to use as well. You don't have to have any big training session with employees.All the information for employees is in one place, taking away the need for countless spreadsheets. The support for the system is great, if you can't find what you are looking for in the help section, then you can contact a member of the team and they are usually very quick to come back to you.I also like that there is so much more to explore and add on when you are ready to use all the features and functionality.

Cons

Sometimes when you are trying to change a person who has a team, you can get stuck in a loop of you can't change one thing, until you change another, but then it comes up with another thing to change. But that is usually when I contact support.

### "Excellent value and user friendly HR system"

The setup process was simple and efficient and went smoothly. The system is user friendly so we didn't need any dedicated training, and the support team was always ready to give us any advice when needed.

Pros

Cezanne HR is superior in many ways to other software packages we looked at. It's extremely user friendly, so even employees who aren't regular computer/app users have no problems booking holidays etc. It is very flexible and the reporting/analytical capabilities are great, so it's very easy to get information out of the system. The value for money is also exceptionally good, which was a high priority for us when looking for our first digital HR system.

Cons

It's difficult to find any negatives with Cezanne, but we did find that when looking at setting up shift patterns the system doesn't really accommodate this very well. The support team did advise us of a workaround, but it wasn't ideal.

Reason for choosing Cezanne HR

Cezanne offered the most flexibility in comparison to other systems we considered, and the value for money was excellent.

### "Easy-to-use, customisable, great price"

So far a great experience. As the company has grown, it's been harder to manage employee data and keep up with processes. Cezanne has helped to streamline processes by reducing admin around it. It was quite easy to implement and employee feedback so far has been positive.

Pros

The fact that Cezanne is so customisable is a big plus. We have found a home for almost everything we wanted to be able to store/record on Cezanne (and are just figuring out the last bits). It's also very user-friendly and assigning tasks to people really cuts down the number of emails we get! The performance module is great as we can now record written feedback easily, and it can be referred back to.

Cons

There are some things which are slightly counter-intuitive e.g. employees wanting to update their picture can only do it via Edit My Details, rather than clicking on 'Picture'. It's not a big problem as there is still a way for them to do this, but it perhaps shouldn't be shown in another place if it's not possible to edit it there.

We were looking for our very first HRIS. Bob offered a more high end product which we wouldn't have really made the most of, that coupled with the price made us not consider it further. It was definitely the most aesthetic and easy-to-use product I viewed though. NaturalHR was very expensive and didn't seem as easy to use as Cezanne. SageHR didn't offer as much within in. The main competition was BambooHR, which I felt was more aesthetic, but I was leaning towards Cezanne due to it being UK-based and therefore customer support would be more readily available.

### "Excellent value for money with an excellent support service"

Pros

The product has a very friendly user interface. The main thing with an HR system is that it has to be intuitive for the end user, so that they are not discouraged from using it. Cezanne is very basic to the end user, but allows the HR user to record a significant level of information and detail. The training is worth the investment; rather than using dummy data, you use your own data to introduce core information and then are trained using your own data. The training we received was delivered in a very calm and thorough manner, with constant check ins on our understanding. Like any software, it wouldn't be possible to implement without the training (unless you're experienced in doing so), but to make the introduction of our data part of the training not only helped consolidate learning, but saved us time later. There are certain back end settings I would not have even attempted without this. The import features allow you to import almost any data, saving significant time. The HR user interface is broken down in key areas. At first, you spend time looking for where certain functionality lives, but once you get used to it, it's fine. The support service is excellent; the answers are clear, with direction towards the Cezanne Help Centre for future where applicable, and the time to respond (even on a low priority) is short. The support team are helpful and friendly, and the Help Centre is detailed. There is also a feature for you to raise ideas for future development.

Cons

Sometimes searching for the right help article in Cezanne Help Centre can be tricky. We find the reporting functionality a challenge. To pull what it is you are looking for and create reports across different data sets isn't always straight forward, however we are yet to invest any of our training in this area. When an import fails, the error messages are not clear and sometimes you have to raise a support ticket to understand what the error message means. That being said, as I already mentioned, the support team are excellent.

We have used Cezanne HR for 7+ years and continue to be very happy with it. It is user friendly and generally intuitive but with support available when needed. The pricing structure is fair, with low inital set-up costs and a subscription model which is good value for us.

Pros

Cezanne is comprehensive and user friendly. It meets most of our requirements 'off the shelf' but we can make small amendments to tailor it to our needs (without the need to involve our IT Team).The software is always evolving and there is an ideas forum where you can suggest changes and updates for the development team. They seem to accomodate the different needs of companies across a wide range of sectors very well.There is an extensive suite of reports available, all of which can be adapted, or the option of creating reports from scratch easily.

Cons

The Form Hub could be improved by using existing fields (which could then be updated via Form Hub). At the moment Form Hub fields are created by the user and therefore stand alone.

A good database. Keen to use for talent management and workforce planning if the functionality allows. Also for it to interface with other systems at our organisation, such as accounts and projects so that the full lifecycle of a project can be monitored and managed.

Pros

Easy to use, set up new processes and make adjustments. All staff are comfortable using the system as self-service or administrators.Great account management and training.

Cons

Reporting functionality is good though being able to report between two date options (to enable a start date and an end date) rather than one date would be much better, particularly for audit purposes that use fiscal rather than calendar year.Having to delete and redo a process flow to change the process administrator (when an administrator leaves the organisation) is not effective.

It is a good tool, there is still room for improvement: e.g forms - signing, could be more intuitive. Some reports could be easier to navigate, also sometimes you can not have all the information on one report. When there is an employee that works part-time with specific hours - the process to add working time pattern is very manual and the holiday calculation.

Pros

Cezanne is relatively easy to use. I like that we are always informed about the updates and receive notifications. In addition, the support staff is very responsive.

Cons

Sometimes you need to think like Cezanne - when it comes to process, it could be more intuitive. Also, you can not just upload a form and ask employee to sign - I had to use a form builder.

### "A basic HR system for smaller companies"

This is a basic system. It's not fit for purpose as our business expands, but it holds basic information and allows employees to book holiday and record sickness.

Pros

The front dashboard can be adapted for employees, for example to link to external sites. There is the ability to customise some picklists such as absence reasons.

Cons

None of the screens can be tailored to suit our organisation, i.e. if a field is there it cannot be hidden or renamed, and new fields can't be created. When running ad hoc reports, often two or three will need to be ran to get all the data, and they will need to be manually merged together afterwards. There is no data change audit, so if and when HR make changes to an employee's record, no one can see exactly when that change was made, by whom, and what the data said before.

Audits can be requested at any time from our Support team and we also have our People Summary reports, which allow you to find the last modified user and date for a record as well as merge different data sets together in a single report. We probably could not find a better system for our needs so it definitely works fine for us and the level of support is quite good as well (support from actual people)

Pros

Flexibility - Our organisation is quite complex and with a lots of part-time staff. We need to tailor a lot of processes. Cezanne has a lot of functions for the company to set the system as they need it.

Cons

Sometimes there are still some functionality missing like with documents replacing future hours to be able to create a contract change document or some processes are very specific and it is very easy to set them wrong and make them fail.

It is fine, customer support is pretty good and can be very helpful especially when you are learning the system. The system itself has big potential, there are a lot of reports you can get from it and work on the data you extract. I would sat that even though reports can be very useful and informative they are very complicated. You really need to learn which are the right searches to run because even though you run to searches that you think should show the same thing it doesn't.System has a lot of modules and constantly growing which is great.

Pros

Amount of reports and data which can be obtained. The amount of modules and the ways system can be personalised, this is a great benefit.

Cons

Complicated and not the most user friendly

Generally positive, roll out was easy enough and the support provided by the support team has been consistent. We did have some issues with the account manager assigned to our account however that has since been resolved.

Pros

Ease of deployment and ease of use, for an off the shelf system there is a fair level of customisation available.

Cons

The areas that we are limited in customising are the performance management module, in terms of titling and labelling boxes and information available at different stages to the employee and manager.At times you can get stuck in a system loop when updating deployment records which can be frustrating as the notification messages don't go into enough detail to help you pin point what exactly is causing the loop so it can take some time to resolve.

We have a number of flexible working patterns and using Cezanne has automated calculating holiday entitlements. It is an easy to use, one-stop shop for storing and retrieving employee information. It has also been useful for capturing document storage and gathering electronic signatures to ensure employees have read changes to procedures or other important documents.

Pros

Cezanne was a great investment for our business as it helped to streamline and automate a number of manual processes that we had been carrying out. It is user friendly and cloud based allowing for easy use from home or on site.

Cons

Cezanne seems to have taken on board requests for improvement over the years and it has become much easier to use than in the early days.

Reason for choosing Cezanne HR

Cezanne was by far the most cost effective product on the market.

Pros

Semplicità e interfaccia user friendly, adatto specialmente a medie e grandi aziende per la gestione del personale, dall'anagrafica alla retribuzione e al mansionamento e radice dell'organigramma aziende.

Sarebbe meglio poter integrare anche il sistema di rilevazione presenze così da avere un unico strumento completo per la gestione del personale

\- Does not have automated compensation linked to Grades - Does not automatically pro rata compensation data for starters / leavers or those on short-term contracts- Does not have the capacity to manage working patterns that are different from a standard weekly pattern

It had more capacity to edit and tailor to our operations. Our organisation has complex absence plans, terms and conditions and flexible working agreements - we could not find a solution that accommodated these things.It has single-sign on, and other API functionality, it is also cloud based and has a mobile app. The price for the quality of the system was a huge factor.We also found that Cezanne HR offered comprehensive onboarding and set up help, with unrestricted team training.

Really fantastic. \[sensitive content hidden\] were incredible and really set the scene for what we could look forward to from Cezanne HR. The software is so easy to use and is adaptable.

Pros

From the very beginning \[sensitive content hidden\] were clear about what Cezanne HR could offer us as a business. They listened to our requirements, helped us navigate the various modules and showcase their functionality, and most importantly, considered all of our user requirements (which was a long list!).

Cons

There are always elements of an HR software that doesn't quite meet requirements and Cezanne HR is no different. However, \[sensitive content hidden\] has really helped us to development workarounds which meet our needs. We've had to simply adapt and we're fine with that as we've had to help to do so.

How quick it is to extract data and create reports for HR and to help other teams. It has cut down a lot of our manual processes such as KPI's for workplace demographics which are automatically calculated.

some of the functunalities are hard to find and navigate.

### "CezanneHR, why it's a good thing for us all..."

Pros

Having been apart of the team in my business to introduce CezanneHR, coming from nothing at all, we were pleasantly surprised how accommodating the Cezanne support staff were to assisting us on boarding. At times our hand was held, especially through some complex "approval" workflows scenarios but it all got there in the end. We very much like that there is an iOS app, being all Apple users. The app is updated fairly frequently and is responsive even on some older models like the iPhone 5s.

Cons

I feel CezanneHR could benefits from a 'face lift' of sorts. It seams its been stuck with the same user interface for some time now, and although the web and iOS app are mirrors in looks and feels, it almost certainly has an outdated charm about it when comparing to competitiors.
