### "An All Round Helping Hand - Excellent HR Software Solution"

Our HR department was a very paper heavy function and we needed something to bring us up to date as quickly, easily and cheaply as possible. We tested a number of options and many of them seemed to have close to everything we needed but when it came to costs, we were always faced with a 'but'. A 'You can have this, but if you want that, it will cost you extra' scenario. The version the sales person had demonstrated to us was always the most expensive option and would cost a great deal more than we have been lead to initially believe. We felt many of the sales people we met with from those companies, had a habit of talking 'at' us. An approach which did not sit well. By chance, we stumbled upon Cezanne at a HR exhibition. The representatives on the day were incredibly friendly, helpful, approachable and the information they provided was very clear and we left them having arranged for a demo of their product. We were impressed with how they 'conversed' about their product and did try the hard sell. We were impressed with the ease of navigation, the fact it was cloud based and therefore always accessible. Things looked even more promising when the figures came back in terms of the cost - the same as had been explained to us when we had spoken to them at the exhibition. No hidden extras! From the very first contact with Cezanne, they were always there to help and always went the extra mile. They uploaded our core data, and after a very worthwhile day of training at their head office in London, we were good to go. We started with around 120 employees when we first integrated Cezanne, and that number has now more than doubled. The performance of Cezanne has remained effective and efficient with no visible signs of slowing down in performance. We have also uploaded the hard copy contents of over half our employee files and still, there has been no drop in performance. We do not operate within just the UK, but rather several offices throughout Europe and Asia, and Cezanne has been able to adapt to the different legalities of each country. Since bringing Cezanne on-board, we have been able to hand over much of the employee administration, to the employees themselves - change of addresses, contact numbers, absence management. We've also streamlined our performance management function to a completely paperless process. It has allowed us to hand over much of the day to day running of employee matters, to the Line Managers. It has negated the need populate multiple reports each month for our directors and senior management, as the data is available to them at the push of a button. We were able to tailor reports to individual managers and assign it to them personally. A very big help in itself as it has freed up a great deal of time for the HR department, allowing us to concentrate on other projects that there simply wasn't time to address before. Cezanne is very much a company that encourages customer feedback. They are keenly interested in ideas and suggestions and actively do what they can to meet the requests and suggestions wherever possible. The customer service and support is absolutely first-class. Issues (and user errors as is often my case) are addressed and resolved extremely promptly. Cezanne HR is definitely a software and a company that I would recommend.

Pros

Software is very straightforward to use with a great user friendly interface. Encourages a greater involvement on the part of the employee and the manager Some of the best customer service I have experienced. The team at Cezanne work with their customers to continually develop and improve the software. They really do listen to the voice of the customer. Has the ability to streamline many HR functions. Has everything - is an all-in-one solution

Cons

Were I to recommend one area of improvement, it would be the interactions available with some of the data on screen. For example, the ability to filter information on screen so that I can control the order in which I'm viewing it, rather than exporting it to an Excel spreadsheet. However, is is a very minor cosmetic point and as a whole I think the product offers huge benefits.

Slow to pick up and understand more than the basic actions. With time (and time available) to learn more about the system, it will provide great insight into our people.

Cezanne has great potential to allow businesses to assist their HR management processes.

Cons

The training on implementation is limited to a few rushed sessions which do not allow time for users to follow on screen with their own system. It shows people what the systems is capable of but does not teach them how to use it. You are then left with a great system which you have to learn to navigate. The Help pages are not always helpful and a search can sometimes come up with either no options, or too many options to review. (Where the help team have been contacted for support, their responses have always been informative and resolved the queries.)

I use Cezanne every day and it is usually a positive experience. I wouldn't say it's the easiest platform to use however you do get the hang of it. It makes things a lot easier and quicker such as running reports or quickly needing a certain piece of personal info.

Pros

I like how all information can be saved in one place and I like the report functions as it saves a lot of time.

Cons

I think some things can be difficult to find at times.

It's quite straight forward to use, and the modular nature of the system means that you only need to purchase the elements that you want to use. You can purchase extra modules as when when the business need arises.

Very positive so far, our account manager is very reactive and the whole process has been very smooth

Very customisable and easy to use, able to tailor to the needs of our business. Intuitive system that makes very logical sense.

Cons

The how to guides could be better and need to be updated, some of the screens need to be split out more so that access can be better controlled (e.g. allow view of contact details without allowing view of emergency contact details). It needs to link better with outlook for manager.

Everyone I've interacted with at Cezanne has been amazing, from the support team to the product specialists and sales team. How customisable it is, which suits our needs as a small company perfectly. The system is highly reliable with no downtime, and the support team are quick, efficient, and friendly. It’s also very user-friendly and easy to navigate for our employees and managers. They consistently release updates and are responsive to customer feedback. And it is affordable in cost for us.

Cons

Shift worker patterns are hard to implement and can take a lot of admin time to ensure they are correct.

For our team in our organisation, we use Cezanne most of the day, every day. So having a platform that is user friendly and sleek makes our job easier. The recent annual leave implementation went very smoothly which makes a stressful time for HR a little less stressful, although explaining what Minimum Entitlement Adjustments are to employees and how they are calculated is just something we get every year.

Pros

Accessible and easy to navigate. Clear and straightforward absence recording for the less tech savvy. The reporting function is hugely beneficial to how we collect data and helps us spot gaps in our employee information.

Cons

Not a huge amount we dislike, although it would be a great addition if we could add multiple checklists at once, for if we have multiple new starters on the same day, instead of having to add them individually. We have the loading circle appear a lot so it could be slightly quicker, but it is manageable and not much of an issue at the moment. When using imports and batch spreadsheets, especially for large amounts of employee records, the log for unsuccessful entries is sometimes confusing and not entirely obvious what the error code means.

Over the past 12 months, our relationship with Cezanne HR has improved massively, and now I feel that our experience is great because of this. the support available day-to-day, and for more project-oriented work, is tremendous. \[sensitive content hidden\] is the Dev team is an absolute asset to the business, and on many of occasions has made what could have been challenging implementations feel seamless and smooth with minimal concern and stress/

Pros

The ease of use for end users, whether you're an administrator or an everyday colleague/user, the teams seem to get on very well. The various modules that are available and can be added in; these varying modules support all business functions,

Cons

The lack of workflows and management of Starter / Leaver process, however, this might well be how we are using the platform, and as a business will be looking at our workflow processes, and redesigning this from scratch, and utilizing both Cezanne and other internal tools to improve this process.

I would recommend it to anyone that needs a basic HR function. Really good at what it does.

Pros

Cezanne is clear where everything needs to be. It accurately stores all of my documents since I have first been at the business and I am able to easily track my days off and holiday which enables me to plan effectively

Cons

Some of the documents are not quite categorised correctly, I am aware this may be how the system was set up. However some of the reporting that comes out of it is clunky and doesn't enable me to merge two reports into one etc.

Overall it is a good system and the support team are great at helping quickly and effectively. The check in Teams calls with a member of staff at Cezanne are also great to discuss any concerns.

Pros

Visually the platform is very user friendly and makes it very easy to navigate to whatever you need to access.

Cons

Recently, we have seen a lot of issues that have occurred following updates to the system. The support team were able to help rectify these quickly, but there was no communication at the time that the issue had occurred (despite Cezanne being aware of it) so we had to wait until an employee stumbled across it to then have it resolved, rather than fixing it straight away and avoiding the inconvenience to others.

i use Cezanne on a daily basis, i think it is very easy to use and offers a lot of useful features. i am, overall satisfied, apart from the items listed above.

Pros

onboarding process very smooth for candidates and HR can pull all kinds of reports very user friendly

Cons

recruitment module could be improved when making someone a leaver the process is not fully automatised (we need to physically add end date to all absences etc) when a new joiner's start date change you physically need to change all dates - there should be an easier way to update dates

Very happy experience, Cezanne go above and beyond for any requests or projects we have raised with them.

Pros

The user interface is easy to use and clear, with sensible headings making navigation simple. Like the fact the payroll module bolts on and is seamless, meaning we can successfully submit payroll on time and correctly each month.

Cons

Initial training was quite short meaning there was a level of self training to be undertaken, but the Cezanne team have always been supportive and responsive if we have had any queries.
