### "Benefits of using Maintenance Connection"

November 7, 2018

4.0

We are using the desktop version to plan and analyse our PM strategy and work orders. The trades staff on the floor use the mobile version which will run on most tablets via a standard browser at all our plants to record all breakdowns of assets which is then analysed each month to identify reoccuring faults or assets that are regularly failing. A strategy is then put in place to eliminate the root cause of the issue. The trades staff can also access asset information via the tablet (such as manuals, procedures) that are directly linked to the asset or the work order. We are now seeing huge gains in efficiencies in the inventory section of our business due to the automatic reorder functionality for inventory as the trades staff directly book out parts used. once a work order is entered on the tablet, the trades staff can look up parts that are used on that asset and see how many of those parts are in stock and the location of the bin in the store .

Pros

The ease of use in the configuration of MC is far better than what I experienced with different vendor. Most user options are a setting that the local administrator can change via a tick box option. The in built reporting and dashboard suite are very easy to pick up and customise reports and dashboards to your companies individual needs

Cons

The only problem I have found with the software is now that we are starting to use more features of the program at a higher level we are finding small bugs. These bugs don't affect the basic functionality and the support staff are brilliant in identifying the issues and passing the issues on to the developers to develop a fix.

### "Built from the ground up as a CMMS, you can tell every details has been considered by folks who worked in the field. "

December 18, 2025

5.0

I've used other CMMSs and MC is I think my 6th and it's the best out of all of them, it's highly functional, work orders carry so much more capability and are easy for technicians

Pros

I like how functional it is and how a lot of various scenarios have been thought out in the field and solved in Maintenance Connection. I also like how easy it is to navigate around.

Cons

No cycle count function for inventory management. I notice filters sometimes don't work. I think the overall user interface is slightly outdated, however the UI design is relatively functional, there is really no "Bloat" or unnecessary graphics or colors when using MC.

Reason for choosing Maintenance Connection

Easy of use, highly functional, cost per concurrent user, customization, requires no IT support to implement.

Not functional enough, not user friendly, required our IT department to roll out to sites. Too complicated to perform any task or retrieve any information from.

### "A lot of great KPI options, Huge Learning Curve to get Right...."

February 24, 2026

3.0

Process Automation of PM's are not intuitive. Cannot seem to control when it start verses target date of specific pm to accurately track KPI's

Pros

All the options that are available to really track important KPI's, expenses, parts, team members, as well as different layers of user access and work order generation.

Cons

It is not user intuitive to use, some simple things are buried in categories that are not logical. User interface not as robust. Setting up PM's, the prime use i feel for this type of product, is not very easy to set up nor control

### "worth a try"

February 24, 2026

3.0

i enjoy the system it has taught me alot especially with the accruent accademy but there is just alot of systems or processes that just are not necessary.

Pros

customer support, easy to use once you get used to it, the team can get on and see whats pending and over due especailly with this 2026 update.

Cons

the system is very hard to navigate, sometime the work orders/PMs dont generate, sometimes PM's double publish for no reason, or not on time. there is a time difference of when someone imputs a work order to when it gets published its a bad thing especially when its a high priority item.

really a great way to monitor and keep track of your assets in real time. history and other features are right at you finger tips.. aside from the other programs ive used i would say that this one is quite the best.

Pros

easy connection to internet and easily finding what im looking for at a moments notice. compared to other programs where i would need to log in just to log in was figuratively unappealing.

Cons

The only downfall that i came across or felt as though would need some improving is the fact that there isnt a feature where you could retract older posts or older Work Orders that needed to be revisited. no option for retrieving deleted files either.

### "Senior Office Assistant"

February 24, 2026

5.0

Maintenance Connection is very good from the beginning. However, with the updated version, some of the features are not working well like before such as work orders that are just created are not in bold letters to make them distinguished with the ones which are already issued.

Pros

customer support and process automation. When we need help form customer support, they respond as fast as they can. They will usually solve the problems. If there are some issues which could not be resolved, they take them into consideration & put on the agenda to work on them. They even have a case number to serve as references for all of our requests.

Cons

I like least about maintenance management because they have some features that myself as a senior office assistant could not be granted for access. Furthermore, we have no training on maintenance management. It would be nice if I can have some trainings again for Maintenance Management, reports, and learn in depth for all the features in Maintenance Connection so I can utilize the program successfully.

### "Review of MC"

February 24, 2026

4.0

Its good, I would like to know the more ins and outs on the background aspects. We had a training in house originally and the guy did not know what he was talking about later found out once we learned the correct ways after submitting tickets for help

Pros

Once you get to know the system well things run smoothly but still alot not known. Reports functions are good, Inventory system is good

Cons

Alot of functions still confusing even though I use the system daily. The training or documentation available does not cover or say correct information of what is actually true. Reporting is rough if you do not know SQL functions

### "Maintenance Connection"

February 25, 2026

I have had a great experience with Maintenance connection and the usability of it from an operators phone is very useful for our facility. we keep all of maintenance and equipment manuals on our M C which allows technicians to access it from remote areas.

Pros

we use it for maintenance and operations rounds. having the ability to have specs entered is a huge plus and helps us with our operations

Cons

the website navigation isnt great. when going into an asset and navigating down through multiple planes and then going back, it forces you to go through the entire process again. the back button for the web browser will send you back to the login page.

### "Solid Tool That Keeps Our Team Moving"

February 24, 2026

4.0

Overall, it’s been a dependable system for our team. It helps us stay organized, keep track of assets, and stay on top of maintenance without things falling through the cracks. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done, and the support team really helps make up for any rough edges.

Pros

Maintenance Connection has made our day‑to‑day work a lot smoother. Creating and tracking work orders is pretty straightforward, and keeping up with preventive maintenance is way easier now. Inventory tracking has also gotten better over the years, which saves us a ton of headaches. Their support team deserves credit — whenever we’ve run into issues, they’ve been quick to jump in and help.

Cons

The interface could definitely use a refresh. Some things take more clicks than they should, and a few parts of the system feel a bit old‑school. Reporting works well once you figure it out, but there’s a learning curve. The mobile version is handy, but still not perfect when you're out in the field.

### "Exemplary Customer Service"

February 25, 2026

5.0

As a user of over 8 years I have become very familiar with the in's and out's of the daily operation. If a need arises that I am unfamiliar with customer service is always quick to respond with a solution and/or just solve the problem for us remotely. This in and of itself is why I chose to participate in the review. Accruent has really invested in customer service. It has always been good but even better over the last 1-2 years. Keep up the good work.

Pros

The simplicity of navigation... It is much easier than other CMMS platforms. This helps keep technician interaction to a minimum to focus on labor tasks at hand.

Cons

\- Labor and user set-up... Needing to navigate to multiple levels of the software to assign appropriate authorizations. - Frequent updates requiring cache and browsing history deletion for the program to function correctly. - Global search function for inventory or asset information. I wish it was more one word search specific for results. It not being can make it difficult to find a result quickly

### "Maintenance Connection – End-User Feedback"

December 18, 2025

4.0

Overall, my experience with Maintenance Connection has been positive. It provides a reliable system for managing work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset history, which supports better organization, accountability, and compliance. While there is a learning curve and some processes can feel time-consuming, the system is effective once users are familiar with it and helps improve visibility and consistency across maintenance operations.

Pros

Maintenance Connection provides a centralized platform for tracking work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset history, which helps improve organization and visibility across maintenance activities.

Cons

The system can feel cumbersome at times, particularly when entering or updating work orders, as it requires multiple steps and fields. Navigation is not always intuitive, which can slow down technicians in the field, and some features are not as user-friendly on mobile devices. Reporting and customization can also be limited without administrative support, making it harder to quickly tailor the system to specific site needs.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Maintenance Connection

Maintenance Connection was selected because it offered the best overall balance of functionality, asset management depth, and support for preventive maintenance and compliance requirements.

### "The CMMS that can do it all and continues to grow"

September 26, 2025

5.0

I have been using MC for 12 years and I have enjoyed using this software. I have looked at other software and I always compare it to MC and it never comes close to what MC can offer.

Pros

I like the ability to track a lot of information in multiple modules, that each module connects to one another, and the customization that you can do as an admin.

Cons

I wish some modules were more robust; I wish the procedure tasks were easier to use; I wish there were a better chat feature available for techs; and I would like to see more ideas from users be implemented.

December 18, 2025

4.0

For the most part it does what it was designed for. It's a CMMS program. Like I mentioned the AI future is now.

Pros

Maintenance Connection has everything that is needed in a CMMS Program that is needed to do what is generally needed in the industry.

Cons

As AI is ramping up, it is not setup currently to start at the beginning of the new era. Predictive is good but self-troubleshooting program would be better

### "Lacking Support and Customization"

December 18, 2025

3.0

Overall good experience, I just wish I was able to use it to its full potential. There's a lot of bugs in the system that make asset addition especially difficult/time consuming.

Pros

Ease of use for the customers- Easy to setup accounts and links for customers to submit work order requests.

Cons

### "Satisfied User"

December 18, 2025

4.0

I like the software and have used it for almost 6 years in two different companies. Being able to have their team listen and give you what you ask for, provided it is within the capabilities of the software.

Pros

The flexibility to create my own reports to fit my situation and the ease of which people can adapt to using it.

Cons

One minor complaint that I have is that not being able to print either a calendar or Gantt chart to post is an inconvenience, but we do work around it.

### "Reliable and Feature-Rich"

December 18, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Maintenance Connection has been positive. It is a secure and reliable system with useful features that help manage maintenance work efficiently. While it can sometimes take a while to load, the good value for money and helpful customer support make it a solid and dependable platform to use.

Pros

What I liked most about Maintenance Connection is that it feels safe and reliable to use. It offers good value for the price by providing useful features that help reduce downtime and keep work running smoothly. The customer support is also helpful and quick to respond, which makes using the system easier.

Cons

What I liked most about Maintenance Connection is that it feels safe and reliable to use and offers good value for the price with helpful maintenance features. However, what I don’t like is that the system can sometimes take a while to load. Customer support is helpful and responsive, which makes the experience better overall.

MC has made asset health documentation a breeze when cooperate is wanting to know how much time, labor and material was put into the asset questioned.

Pros

Management of the assets is the biggest win with a paper trail for audit reasons and showing customers documentation.

Cons

Pros

Overall, I really like the lay out, the fact that there is a mobile platform available that is simplified for the tecnicans on the floor makes MC a great choice for our operations.

Pros

The flexibility and customization of how workflows are ran. MC also makes tracking purchases and inventory usage very easy.

Cons

### "Pricey but overall great program"

February 24, 2026

Going on year 6 now and overall happy with the program. It has helped eliminate down time in the production area and helped with organizing things during out audits.

Pros

The interface is helpful and easy to understand. We use it primarily for maintenance management and it makes creating PM's and WO's very easy to track and revert back to in times of need, such as an audit.

Cons

The cost of the program is a little on the expensive side but if you were to use it to its fullest potential, I think one can justify it. Customer support is great when you can get in touch but that is not the easiest thing to do for some reason.
