SmartRecruiters works well for what I need it to do (collect my feedback and see feedback from the interview panel).

Pros

It's easy. I'm an interviewer so I'm usually putting feedback into SmartRecruiters. You can direct link via URLs. It works with our SSO. Communications are clear with the tools.

Pros

Easy to use interface. Hiring Managers love it. Excellent at posting jobs to multiple boards and locations with a single click. I love the Hire Loop which gives me visibility into all activities on jobs and candidates in one place. I think SmartRecruiters is a great tool. Customer account management and customer support are top-notch. From the Hiring Manager's perspective, it's perfect.

Cons

Difficult setup for 3rd-party recruiters. Difficult getting any kind of data from the tool although I know this is being worked on. Offer Approvals, system emails, and administrative setup. Can only opt-out of emails at a high level, so if on a hiring team, you get emails for all jobs or none.

Cons

I use Smart Recruiters to track and communicate with candidates. Integrates with other products. Some integration isn't soo seamless.

Great for tracking and communication with candidates.

Cons

Some integration issues with other products. I wish the product automatically saved notes. I've lost notes after typing for 15 min many times!

I was very happy with SmartRecruiters. When I have roles to fill on my team, I'm eager to use it more.

Pros

I was really surprised by how easy SmartRecruiters is to use from the employer side of things. Being able to review candidates, add a grading/rating, pass to another reviewer or back to the HR team were all really great features and super easy to pickup with no training whatsoever.

Cons

I honestly don't really have any negatives. Everything worked really well and the process is really slick.

Pros

When we used it, we only had the basic package which allowed us to post the position on an internal network as well as select few external job posting sites for a fee.

Cons

We wanted a bit more functionality using the software allowing us to have them more proactive in posting and searching efforts as some ATS platforms offer today. We were looking for more than just a place to post positions.

Just started using it along with some other recruiting software we've been trying out so I'm still on the fence but certainly hope some upgrades can help satisfy the issues with the recruiting stream.

Pros

We recently starting using several recruiting applications to help in difficult to hire positions. Smartrecruiters makes it easy to share candidate and job information with departmental employees and it's easy to store and update data within the system

Cons

We need to be able to customize a recruiting stream. Now everyone added to the hiring team can see everything about each candidate, even confidential information. This is a little tricky. We should be able to allow and disallow what people can see at each step throughout the process

Pros

I like that Smart recruiter is simplified and clean in presentation.

Cons

In terms of organizing 1) applicants can see where they are in process 2)Filters not appearing correctly and it will not add correct filters for my cities even when I add “my Active” sometimes I can not see my reqs 3) The candidates know where they are in the process. They also know that if I move them over to another rec. I'm not comfortable with this. 4) Sometimes they don't upload everything from the resume, nor even upload the resume at all. 5) Too much notifications. I'm running out of space for my email account.

Pros

It's a free tool and is simplified. The best part is the social media that you are able to post jobs to in one click. Older ATSs do not have that option.

Cons

I've been using since 2009 and they have made several changes since. The flow is starting to look cluttered.

Cons

I cannot figure out if the "lead" section is a suggestion or an actual application. I am not sure the candidate is interested in the new role or if the ATS is matching profiles

I love that it has a free version to aggregate jobs and post on social media. It is easy to use, and easy to use the paid version as well. I highly recommend Smart Recruiters and think it is a Smart Solution.

Pros

Very customizable & I like that you can copy reqs for similar job postings. I like the notifications "Bell" icon, letting me know new applicants for my reqs.

Cons

It glitches a lot. There have been so many times that I try to update the status of a candidate, along the hiring process, and I cannot. Sometimes I would get a message saying that the candidate no longer existed or it would revert back to a previous status.

Pros

Many features are free (including the job posting)! You'll have to pay to promote your post, but they'll post it on the site (and other job platforms like Indeed) for free.

Cons

The applicant management isn't very user-friendly. Also, other jobs (from other companies) are promoted on you job post (that's understandable though, since it's a free tool; I assume it's not the case when you have a paid subscription).

This is just easy to use and learn.

Pros

Smartrecruiters has very nice template for creating a job and sending emails to the candidate. This ATS is very easy to use.

Cons

Can not delete the candidate from the job, if we do it send them a rejection email. Job posting- it doesn't show the location of the job location. need to be update this ATS for these points.

Pros

Ease of use - pretty interface - it helps to have something nice to look at when you are a recruiter looking at an ATS all day!

I do not like that notes on candidates are not automatically viewable to all.

what I like most is that you can do everything that you need in the same platform, anything from a interview to process the background check.

Cons

What I like least was the every time a new candidate applied I was getting email notifications. Doesn't matter how many people applied per day I'll be getting emails for all of them.

Pros

This system is super simple, easy to navigate and your best bet for FREE! Provides great candidate flow.

Cons

Doesn't have an HR side to it. Need ATS system to integrate with our HR side. Doesn't provide document signage.
