Overall: we have a serious situation going on, and it seems they couldn't care less. It is jeopardizing the entire company. We had to build a task force on a Sunday to try to organize things manually to minimize all the problems caused by the system.

Pros

It is a very complete solution for tours and activities. Once you understand how it works, it is a very good way to prepare your company for growth.

Cons

We warned Rezdy many times about a problem when Brazil should get into Daylight Saving Time. The Brazilian government stated that in 2019 the DST would be postponed in 2 weeks. Sessions had wrong times and iit would not be available in Expedia for the same reason. The support team used to be very attentive to our demands, but there has been a sudden change in behavior lately. We are a big company with more than 1,000 bookings/month, and Rezdy's lack of support is compromising the entire company. Activities and transfer are booked at a certain time, but the document sent to the passengers states a different time and sometimes a different day! Clients are feeling suspicious about this change in times and dates, even if we explain that it is a system's problem. Pick up times in tours have been changed automatically and clients are getting impatient about that. We have been trying to receive and urgent answer from the support team, even calling them, but no answer. This is completely awkward, considering their previous behavior (answering promptly). Some of our suggestions are to create sessions 1 year long (not 6 months), create a way to make multiple language versions of the same product (not having to clone many times) and create subdivisions for the product description (ITINERARY, INCLUSIONS, EXCLUSIONS, KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK ETC.)

Unfortunately, most of this was something that was out of our hands and was due to your government making those changes to their process. We had bubbled your urgent request up to our dev team but much of the issue was due to the fluctuation from the Brazilian government and we weren't able to make the adjustments to your sessions as quickly as you had requested. I do apologize for any frustration this may have caused. As far as your other suggestions/requests, rest assured we are continuing to make changes to our system and do roll out updates often. Many of these updates are based on the suggestions of our suppliers/customers so please know your requests have been heard. It's an overall very good soft work, with very strong payment, remainder, and many more features. But it will be very nice to have an account manager in which I could inform in case of a problem.

### "Rezdy was NOT was I was hoping it would be."

After switching to Rezdy and using it for several months, I can confidently say it has not worked for my business. Despite a sales representative assuring me it would be a great fit, the reality of day-to-day use told a very different story — one that involved countless conversations with online support staff and multiple personal calls with various employees trying to help me make it work. My business is exclusively private tours, and flexibility is at the core of what we offer. Almost immediately after setup, I discovered through conversations with Rezdy staff that the add-on functionality didn't work the way I had been sold on. My business uses per-person tiered pricing, and I needed my add-ons to follow the same structure — that's not how Rezdy handles it. As a one-man operation, I need my booking system to be set-it-and-leave-it. Instead, I found myself getting multiple bookings per day — something I had specifically said I didn't want from the very beginning. It turned out the system had been set up incorrectly from the start, which I only discovered after the problem had already affected my business. More recently, when I added a new product and went to connect it to OTAs, I was told that Rezdy and Viator together do not support a minimum party size of two — it has to be one. I have tours that genuinely don't make sense for a single person, and having no way to enforce a two-person minimum when connecting to OTAs is, in my opinion, a significant oversight. To be clear, this is not a reflection on the people at Rezdy — the staff were kind, patient, and genuinely tried to help. They also built me a beautiful website. Rezdy is a versatile platform with a lot of capability. It just wasn't built for the way my business operates. The constant need to log on, troubleshoot, and optimize became a real burden, and ultimately the software couldn't deliver what I was promised at the start.

The way rezdy is built. Some of it feels like it's in windows 95. It's very complex and I found it not user friendly at all.

Bait-and-switch pricing once you’re locked in We signed up to Rezdy on the clear understanding that pricing was a monthly fee plus $1 per offline booking. That suited our fishing business perfectly — we are highly weather-dependent and primarily take bookings in person, while potentially moving to online bookings via a website in the future. Throughout the entire setup and onboarding process, there was no mention whatsoever that we would later be told our plan was unsuitable, that we would be required to change plans, or that offline bookings would ever be subject to percentage-based fees. We were never told there was any requirement to be online or to use Rezdy for payments. We invested months setting up the system, learning the software, and integrating it into our operations. Then, three to four months in — once we were comfortable and reliant on the platform — Rezdy abruptly informed us that we had to change plans because it was supposedly more suitable for our business. When we asked to compare plans, we were pushed toward a Marketplace plan that: Is not displayed anywhere on their website Charges 3% of all bookings, online or offline Applies even though we do not take payments through Rezdy Applies even though bookings are manually entered In other words, Rezdy is now seeking a percentage of our revenue for bookings they did not generate and payments they do not process. When we stated that we wished to remain on the Foundation plan we originally signed up for, we were given an ultimatum: switch to the new plan within three days or leave the platform entirely. This is not transparency or fair dealing. It is a classic bait-and-switch, timed precisely when a business is most embedded in the software and leaving is most disruptive. Rezdy may suit businesses that operate fully online and process payments through the platform. For weather-dependent or in-person operators, proceed with extreme caution — the pricing you sign up to may not be the pricing you’re allowed to keep. Extremely disappointing experience.

### "The Worst 3 Months of My Business Life"

I signed up in April and left within three months. It was a stressful and disappointing experience. I’ve since switched to Bokun and am much happier.

Pros

The sales team was quick to respond and very polished in their pitch. You get to speak with someone directly, which gives a good first impression, though it turned out to be just that, an impression.

Cons

The support is terrible no phone line, no live chat, just slow, careless email responses with no sense of urgency or ownership. The platform is buggy and unreliable, often making changes or updates on its own. One serious glitch resulted in a major booking mishap, costing me a one-star review. The lack of accountability and support is beyond frustrating.

### "Rezdy Mergers Take Priority Over Functionality and Customer Service"

At first good, then the problems arrived. They came from all angles, having to perform workarounds and learn how to apologize to customers in many languages. They merged with Regionado, Checkfront and others. This clearly was a mess, a mistake, and it ruined the company. It is my last year with them, and I will never return. There is supposedly an upgrade to the software program coming, but that has been the same old response for over a year now. I would never consider this company, and if you are... do yourself a favor and at least wait until the supposed new platform rolls out. I have lost so much money because clients cannot book online using the software due to glitches that Rezdy does not solve or simply sweeps under the rug. It is sad and terrible. I feel bad for the people in the customer service chat, which you can't talk to due to "protocol." I can't be the only one. This platform is like something Fred Flintstone would use: moving rocks and rubble. That's a good description of the platform, rubble. It is all that remains from what was once good.

Pros

Initially, the platform worked and met the needs that most other software could not. Now, the platform doesn't work and does nothing near what other platforms will do.

Cons

The steady decline since signing up. No upgrades, no communication, a promised new platform that never comes. A merger that was a mess. Problems and glitches everywhere that don't get solved. The program now costs you thousands in lost bookings, and nobody cares. Only chat is available, the agents act as a wall to management who are probably hiding under their desks. It was a good program that has turned absolutely awful and I would not recommend to my worst enemy or competitor. Stay clear.

### "Bad experience"

In general, and after 2 months using Rexdy, I am not happy at all. It is a difficult platform to use and the customer service leaves much to be desired. When I unsubscribed and told the reason (I expressly said I was switching to BOKUN), I was told that BOKUN was more expensive and had hidden costs, which is a LIE.

API connection to many OTAs, many possibilities in terms of connection with different products and services

Cons

Abusively expensive. No intuitive interface, mediocre customer service.

### "Rezdy The Unreserved Chaos Chronicles......"

When a single booking comes in Rezdy has been arbitrarily making every other tour we have UNAVAILABLE. Mind you with have 17 tours and multiple guides and vehicles available that day to take care of more reservations. This means I have to stop what i am doing, go to the day the single booking came in and manually open every tour listed on that day and take out the vehicles that ARE STILL AVAILABLE, save it, go back in and add the vehicles I just took out, save it again and then make sure it shows up as available for that day. And then continue on with the 16 remaining tours, with the same tedious time consuming procedure. Now to make it worse sometimes Rezdy will not even allow the available vehicles to be added back in! Meantime the stress of having to move quickly to fix this "glitch" (that's what the unhelpful multiple reps call it) makes me RACE to add back in our most popular tours knowing its SEASON and at the same time answer the guests calling in and giving them A+ attention and care, while Rezdy is sabotaging me on the back end. The peace de la resistance is the Rezdy reps that insist this is just a "glitch" and they are working on it. They refuse to escalate it to any senior management that Rome indeed is burning. After hours, literally of pleading, arguing, insisting, they FINALLY connected us with \[sensitive content hidden\] who again initially acted like this was no big deal. This has been an entire week of stress and loss of income for us.The other MAJOR issue is even though you add the vehicles back in, you can check later and they TAKE THEM OUT AGAIN. So anyone trying to book it says not available! I have to again go through every single day of the month May through December and readd what Rezdy once again took out! If they had anyone on their chat that even cared it would be a miracle. Try and find contact information for a corporate phone number, NO where. They say "we don't go outside of our protocol in going to senior management. Thank you Rezdy for a system that is broken and you truly do not care to help get a crippling issue fixed.They show zero compassion for a major breakdown in their system. We are actively looking at newer top rated reservation systems. This has been truly detrimental to our business. I absolutely would recommend extreme caution if you are considering Rezdy for your reservation system. This truly has been an unbelievable nightmare.

I believe it may have been great in the day, but sadly with all the advances in technology I can honestly say, not much.

Cons

With their merger they have failed tour operators that have been with them for years (we have been with them 7 years) they don't care if their "glitches" are causing a huge breakdown in the system where our third party booking systems, our affiliated travel agents, and people trying to book on our website ( which we have invested thousands of dollars and time) says no availability!!!

Not good. Rezdy is not recommended as they have failed to fix basic bugs in their system which impacts their clients and the guests who book.

Pros

Ability to take payment by credit card and Paypal, however, whilst you can charge the relevant merchant fee for credit card, you cannot for Paypal.

Cons

Very slow with support. Rezdy has a WHOLE CURRENCY which displays incorrectly on its system (XPF), this eliminates several whole countries from being able to make a booking, simply because their I.T. guys have failed to put in the currency conversion correctly on their Rezdy system. Rezdy has had this reported to them multiple times over a period of months, but unfortunately they don't have time to deal with even such a fundamental programming error. If they get this wrong then they could be getting a lot wrong.

Overall, I like the system and I think it has a lot of really great features. There are many workarounds we have to create to accomplish some things, but overall it was well thought out, and the regular enhancements shows that the company is continuously working to improve and adapt to the changing industry. I like the shopping cart experience and the fact that you can also sell merchandise as well as a variety of other categories to create products under. The online booking engine is great, and I love that you can automate an email for a client to pay a balance right from the email by clicking a button. I have not gotten into the marketplace and industry partnership features, but I am excited to see what it can do. I would probably give Rezdy five stars if we could view or print simple reports showing sales And availability summaries Rather than having to click all over the place to view individual tours one at time, or download spreadsheets And do all the calculations manually

Pros

I like the online booking feature. It’s clean, uncomplicated and much simpler for users Than Eventbrite. I like the automated emails, the ability to add questions for the entire reservation and for individual participants, Such as meal choices. I like that they are continuously looking for ways to make improvements come on and despite the other comments on this platform, I found customer service to be very responsive and helpful.

Cons

The reporting is the biggest frustration. Just to see how sales are going to have to flip through month by month, tour by tour to compile the information. There is not even a simple summary report showing daily sales, credit card fees, booking fees, etc. you can’t even print a single report, only download spreadsheets of raw data. We offer hundreds of tours every year, and to simply see how overall sales are going across all products or sessions is critical so we can strategize, add buses on good selling tours, look ahead to see what might need to be canceled Due to low sales. i’m sure this is fine for companies that do the same few tours every day after day, but for larger tour operators with high volume and more variety, The inability to view or print a simple summary Sales report is very frustrating and hard to imagine the reasoning we’re not building those in

I felt REzdy had done a better job of thinking through the features that tour operators would need. The booking fees I felt were reasonable Compared to the other ones

To be able to have our clients book into our stargazing tours and have all the required info there, auto emails, etc. is just fabulous. It means we do not have to man the office all the time. The product is not perfect, and we do make suggestions for performance improvements and do not receive updates on these.

Pros

Rezdy has most of the functionality we need and use. It's the third type of booking software we have been using because the previous two we soon found out did just not have the flexibility we needed.

Cons

That every change needs to be saved separately, and is not saved automatically like other cloud based software can be an issue. We do make suggestions of functionality improvements to make the product work better for us and presumably others, and it would be nice to receive updates on this. It's not obvious that anything is done with our suggestions/feedback. Perhaps there could be a page with issues that are being actioned. Having an immediate feedback mechanism would make for better customer service/relations. Our tours are weather dependent, and as such, we do get our clients to give us alternative dates. It's not possible to easily display this info in Rezdy, yet, so that we also have to use an Excel sheet, to keep the overview.

Reason for choosing Rezdy

One of the reasons was that as we are in New Zealand, we have support during our working hours from Australia, if required. Reviews were also good, and on research, it seemed to solve the issues we needed solving, which it has. So while it hasn't been 100% perfect, it has been good for us. We do hope that continuous improvements will be made, using customer feedback and suggestions that will make the product even better.

it exists. allows us to rent our bikes online. super disappointed with its functionality though.

The staff is nice. I don't really have anything else positive to say.

I'm not trying to be bad here - I just want to make sure that no one else expects Rezdy to be easy for their rental business. My biggest complaint is that it is very easy to NOT TAKE PAYMENT when making an internal order. They have a payment type called "credit card" that lets you type in a credit card number and then literally does nothing, but it'll be marked as paid. Rezdy does integrate with Stripe, and you can pay via credit card (which didn't take Discover until today, but that wasn't mentioned to me during the sales pitch) but it's easy to miss so make sure everyone's aware of that. You pay the set up fee, but you have to manually enter everything yourself. (This is the 3rd system I've used - both others would load everything on the back end for you, including reservations that had already been made). Because the system is not designed to take reservations for items that have different sizes, this took hours for me to do. Every bike size had to be entered individually, with its own rules for how much it costs per hour. If I want to make a small edit, I have to edit each individual bike size. You can block out entire days, but not a specific product. It's also very easy to overbook a product. There is no error message saying "hey, this product is fully booked for that day, are you sure you want to make this reservation?" Overall super disappointed and looking forward to switching.

I know you and I have spoken on the phone regarding some of the struggles you've been having and I wanted to let you know that I have personally bubbled up the not so intuitive payment processing when completing an internal booking. As far as the loading of products, we do offer some assistance with product loading, but it is currently a limited to 10 items. Two and a half years ago when we began our foray into agritourism, I never would have known that Rezdy would be such an integral part of that process and our success. Having real-time booking made my users very comfortable with the booking process at Sun Valley Farm.

Pros

I really appreciate the support staff at Rezdy! Anytime I have a question or just have forgotten how to work a certain aspect of this software they are almost always available to guide me through the problem. My customers very rarely have difficulty booking!

Cons

The connection to stripe was very challenging during the quarantine and shut down of tourism. Rezdy has recently made some changes to their platform that hopefully will help us through those issues. I look forward to switching to this new service.

Reason for choosing Rezdy

The customer service that I had as I was making my decision was awesome. Not pushy, just so helpful! They helped me set up the whole program and guided me through every step since I was completely unaware of what or how it needed to be done.

I started looking into Rezdy before the beginning of our last season. They promised that we could be online in 3 days! Well don't believe that if they say it. It takes weeks, sometimes months and a LOT of your own time and work to get set up! When I had a meeting to set up my account I asked to resolve ALL the problems left over in that meeting so we could go online soon. (My season was going to start two days after that meeting). After an hour the rep told me that he is off now and our conversation has come to an end. I was choked! Nothing was solved! As I unfortunately had already paid that they wouldn't refund, we agreed upon holding these funds and looking into maybe joining the following season. That was satisfactory for me. So this season we started to talk again and I looked into the system again. It seems to be well thought through and makes sense. It is quite complex, but I think that is the nature of the beast. I talked to a company that uses Rezdy and asked about their experiences. They were fairly satisfied, but they didn't use the part of the system that I was interested in the most (payments and reporting). So I never managed to get a good look into these parts of the system. I decided not to take a chance. Also the monthly charge is too high. Mind you I had already spent a great deal of time into another system and wasn't up to starting from scratch without really knowing if it worked any better, also considering the higher price. Long story short, I decided not to proceed with Rezdy, when they charged me another USD. The prices have gone up as well! So without my consent, without signing up with them they charged that amount and do not want to give me a refund. I should have listened to the RED FLAGS from my encounter with them last season! I would have kept them in mind as another option in case the system I am using right now was failing, but now I am so disgusted that will never go with a company that has such low morals!

### "Rezdy is THE software for your tourism business"

Well we set up our booking software wrong for the first summer season, and that was the way I was shown by Rezdy, but then another employee of Rezdy showed me how to add multiple products with multiple times, so we now have a better set-up. I have had to reconfigure along the way and it is time-consuming.

Pros

The professional front end, customers get an interface that looks so professional

Cons

Complicated, BUT there is still items in the software I have not yet used or figured out how to use.

Reason for choosing Rezdy

The professional look to the whole package and the interface that the client sees and uses. I am a Graphic Designer by trade and this was VERY important to me. Being able to add some code the make buttons on my Squarespace website (freycinetcharters.com) the right font and colour etc made the software even better (and I leant how to write a bit of code). PLUS I am a Sydney girl and I wanted to support an Aussie company!
