Pros

We like the syncing capabilities, customization options, reports, and task/reminder functions. This app was truly created with the intention of giving you peace of mind that you've never forgotten something. It makes us feel truly organized and gives us the ability to keep our processes working smoothly.

Cons

When Service Sidekick got switched over to the new platform, Kickserv, we were excited for the new features, but the downtime and constant account issues have been frustrating. Support is sometimes difficult to get ahold of, as well. That being said, the incident report updates that we signed up for, have been great during these circumstances and Pete is always very helpful when he's providing support.

Everything has been positive, other than our own desires for additional features (namely inventory). The support team is always very responsive, and is constantly working to improve our experience.

Pros

Ease of use makes day-to-day operations a breeze.

Cons

There is not a feasible way to manage inventory (at least not yet).

I feel like we're constantly finding more and more uses for Kickserv! We originally used it strictly as a tool for invoicing, but over this past year we've started using it for work routing, expense tracking, and productivity tracking. We've eliminated or are close to eliminating the need for other software because Kickserv is so flexible.

Pros

Versatility SO easy to use Quickbooks integration

Cons

I wish the reporting functionality was more customizable. I'd specifically like better reporting for my expenses by technician.

Pros: 1. cloud based, can be accessed from anywhere. unlimited storage capacity, makes it easy to store document. 2. easy to learn and use, webinars available and the system is intuitive 3. very reasonably priced compared to some other Customer management software that are available on the market. 2. has been down only once for couple of hours Cons: 1. customer support is online only. I have not been able to talk to the live person when I really needed something but had to send email questions that were responded to the next day. Our rep who signed us up was responsive to my questions and knowledgeable about software but I wish Kickserv had someone 24x7 to answer urgent calls or at least even email back right away. 2. not enough customization. Our staff wants to see things differently on the screen arranged the way that they want it but it's not possible to save your own settings or arrange the schedule to look differently. 3. Suggestions for improvement not implemented. I have made many suggestions but have not seen any changes so I just stopped giving them. 4. Only 2 settings for personnel: administrative and tech. We have alots of sales folks and they need more info than tech but less than administrative. So far has not been done 5. The app is not really helpful for the type of work that we do. It downloads very slowly for those who have administrative access because it loads up the whole customer base. The cancelled appointments don't disappear from the app schedule very fast so couple of time our staff went to appointments that were not needed. When new appointments are added, there is no alert so it's easy to miss them. Uploaded documents saved online dont display on the app. Anyway the app needs a lot of work. 6. needs a place to record ongoing reminders for administrative staff. Kickserv did not solve this problem so we are still using sticky notes. 7. not a way to communicate and assign customer related tasks to each other in the team. Again, would be nice if the software had ability to do that.

Ease of Scheduling, Custom reports, billing is a breeze and posting payments is easy.

Pros

Scheduling is a breeze, I can look back and see the history of who went to what job. The reports help us look at the past few years to see if there's a pattern for busy times of year.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints - Its a big upgrade from Service Sidekick - I highly recommend this program.

I can see all my jobs and days at any time any day 365 day of the year I love it... just some times when don't have internet access to the software is not convenient but its ok. Is very rare this thing happens. Im very glad to have this tool

Cons

Nothing its very efficient., some times my office make changes at the very last moments but it's not your fault. I dont know who to used all the tools but I will learn how to used soon. Some times I ask my co workers and they teach me how to do it but to be honest I have no time to learn.

\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] in support has been the #1 benefit to this software, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is a close second. Most of these software packages are similar, but Kickserv support has been the best I've ever experienced.

Cons

Tends to be 6 months to 1.5 years behind my wants/desires. But, they always come later.

Pros

The ease of use and ability to sync with Quickbooks (although not seamlessly) are the best attributes. The search feature and ability to use custom fields are nice to have.

Cons

The software is unreliable. I have been using it for 3 months and am surprised how many problems there are. The program encounters numerous slow downs or problems and it takes hours (sometimes longer) for the support team to fix the problem. Never had constant problems like this with Service Sidekick. It is frustrating to wonder if the program will be functional from one day to the next. The program does sync with Quickbooks, but the data doesn't transfer completely. After the sync, we have to go in and manually input data or amend items like the customer name and terms. The android mobile app crashes constantly and is unreliable.

Hello Robert - We know that our application has had downtimes in the last few months that are far beyond anyones comfort level. We have gotten our wits around a couple of issues that we inherited with our finial migration of customers from our legacy system. Now that all that is behind us we have seen much better results. See our results here: http://uptime.kickserv.com The Quickbooks sync should never be altering data. I have not heard of this issue before. I will reach out to you via our tech support lines to see what is going on with your account. Lastly, the android mobile app has been corrected and is no longer crashing due to the mapping error.

Pros

Its easy on an iphone, and can be used as well on an ipad. The reaction of the app is great and does not crash all the time.

Cons

The bugs, and if we try to tell them what to change this takes really long. and somethimes they don't change anything.

It was user friendly and our staff had an easy time setting it up for use. It was very visually appealing as well.

Cons

After setup it was not useful for our business model. The notifications of our schedule was helpful but we use iCalendar and it didn't integrate well with it and cause more work for us.

Kickserv is EXCELLENT at time stamping everyone's move. I like that I can see when a customer viewed an invoice or estimate. That feature is definitely one that a lot of other software's do not. It is upcoming and I believe will be a huge hit within the year with what has already been implemented.

Pros

Kickserv is up and coming. It in implementing most of everything we need to be able to do here at my office.

Cons

That there is not tech support available by phone. Sometimes it is easier to explain via phone about issues.

I can keep my clients and all jobs information in one place.

Pros

I love that I can keep all my clients and everything in one place. Customer service is awesome to deal with.

Cons

The mobile site doesn't function as well as the desktop and we're out and about a lot! Also, for months there have been ongoing issues of different sorts, this doesn't help me or our business, when I need client addresses and phone numbers and the site is down. Quickbooks syncing hasn't worked right in awhile. At this point I'm not sure why I'm still using kickserv or quickbooks, i'm thinking of what else I can do at this point as it's not worth the money.

Worked with customer today on the phone and screen share. We found that her item list needed to be updated from Quickbooks first. We cleared the item list and ran the sync again. The invoices are now sync'ing to Quickbooks successfully.

I really like that i can really organize everything for each individual, and like how if i dont understand how to do one thing i can get help really quickly.

Pros

What i really like about this software is that if i have a questions, somebody typically responds within the day and can help me or tell me what i can do to fix this.

Cons

What i dont like is that the button to ask questions is on the bottom right and sometimes is in the way of me either pressing on something or viewing on something.

Pros

From an admin position this product has been very easy to set up and use. Most of all we have been able to customize to fit our needs. Our clients often remark on how simple and easy to read our estimates are. We have it synced with Quickbooks to track payments.

Cons

Other than the server issue a few months back we have not had any real complaints. Tech support usually responds within a few minutes or contacting them.

Using Kickserv for telecommunication customer profiles, information, job routing and scheduling has been great. Being able to access and edit this information from anywhere really simplifies and streamlines our process.

sometimes the calendar can be too sensitive, causing jobs to move when just trying to open them.

Pros

It's simplicity and easy to use. Allows you to keep a lot of information for each customer. Especially like be able to search for a contact not only by name but also by house address or phone number.

Cons

Whenever you want to eliminate tags of one sort or another the software will eliminate those tags in existing completed jobs. Why can't the old tags stay in place when we no longer have use for them and want to change or eliminate?

Everything in one place and easy to view open quotes and current jobs.

Pros

Internet based being able to get it on my phone when out of office. I use my tablet and phone from home and this is very important to me.

Cons

I get frustrated with the frequent slow load times lateley. I know that is being worked on and I apprecaite that because it is crippling when we cannot get to the information when speaking with a customer. I ALSO WOULD LOVE IT IF YOU COULD HAVE A PHOTO ON THE CUSTOMER PAGE THAT PULLS UP IN THE FIRST CLICK OF THE ACCOUNT. SMALL PHOTO LIKE WHAT IS IN NOTES BUT IN THE MAIN VIEW. DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS POSSIBLE. JUST A SUGGESTION
