I like the ease of use and the help features including the Thompson training materials and the electronic uniform guidance database. They were extremely helpful. The filters, PFAs and grant summary alleviate the time-consuming task of reviewing each grant. I only need to search for what pertains to our organization. It has been highly effective for our use in managing our grants and applying for grants. The customer service is exceptional. This helps to assist in the grant process. Pros It gives the important information for grants that is needed instead of searching for the answers. There are a lot of features on this software that every time I use it I find something new to use. Cons Everything is great! The tracking feature works well when searching for a grant. The reports produced are easy to follow. Cons Navigating through system to find documents I need. The training was only attended by 3 staff members, but was helpful in figuring out how to research grants when we have limited time to do so. Grant applications are available at the click of a button. Con - The only drawback to eCivis is that you have to manually up load all grants to utilize the tracking aspect of the software. It is a useful grant research tool and I found it very helpful. eCIVIS provides a very good return on the investment. Not only do I get a daily E-mail from them for new grants that I might be interested in, but their web-based user interface is easy to use with powerful search peramiters. It is easy to use once you get working with it. I wish there were more filtering options. Cons Too much information to sort through. " April 5, 2018 5.0 Right now, we are in the beginning stages of setting up eCivis so we were not able to fully utilize all of the features that this software has to offer. So far, I think this software will greatly benefit our organization in the future. Pros I like how eCivis has many options so it is very customizable for users. There are many options to change things or make them apply specifically to one's contracts. I think the program itself is very useful and will benefit our organization greatly! Cons I think it is almost overwhelming because there is so much (visually) going on. When I first started using eCivis I was a little apprehensive because I felt like the screen was a little cluttered, but it could be because I am an administrator.
