I no longer have to use multiple spreadsheets to track attendance, scores, grades, and communications. Pros I love the versatility of the platform. There are so many functions that work well together. The software is well integrated and very thought out. The pathway from page to page is logical and intuitive. Anytime I had an issue with the iGradePlus, I received a response swiftly. And they are eager to take suggestions as well. Cons There are some functionalities of the newest upgrade that are still in beta or not as functional, but I am confident that they are working out the bugs, such as bulletins and memos. Pros It is cost effective and has many tools that can be used in many ways. It combines several other programs and connects things easily. I love the efficiency of grading and editing grades for specific students. It is also good for communicating with both students and parents while keeping them updated on assignments and events. Cons The updates tend to come slowly. There are a couple promised features that have not been implemented when they were promised over a year ago. Though I will not complain that much since I use the free version. Pros I like all of the shortcuts to the different areas you can go to like attendance to adding a new assignment. Cons I wish the shortcuts had different icons or were labeled differently I have to scroll over each one to remember which icon is which. I also wish there was a way to auto select 100% for an assignment for all the students at once. It saves me a lot of time to have an online gradebook that keeps track of so much. It would take me hours more to put this on a spreadsheet of my own. Pros That the program allows you to excuse students from an assignment and then keeps track of the rest of their grades Cons The space for a name needs to be longer, or it needs to allow for nicknames. I usually have to keep the Thai name and the English name of my students, so that pushes their nickname (the English name we usually use to identify them) out of sight on the assignment grade entry page. Pros Easily able to add students and remove, easy to set up grade book, and the whole software easy to use and grading takes seconds to do now for me. I also love how to can see everything in one spot for information and how we use to grade was thinkwave their software sucks. Igradeplus is the best and ive been using it for almost a year. I also find it easy to print my roster per class. Also recording behavior. Cons I dont personally have anything bad to say besides that i wish i could remove my email from being visible but besides that love Igradeplus best software ever. Cons There's nothing I didn't really like about iGradePlus. The UI could be cleaned up a little. Maybe just a simple drop down menu with clear options as to where everything is located. I refer back I look at how many assignments have graded. It helps me decide what to grade. I can use it to track the Progressive of my classes, a whole, and my students individually, and it helps me make strategic teaching decisions without a lot of of work or information finding. The information about my class is right there on the screen. Pros That is a hard question to answer. There are many things I like about iGradePlus. First, the grade percentages are calculated for me and that is a huge time saver. Second I see the average class grade for every assignment so I can look at that until if my class has the concept or if they need more practice. I can print off reports for each student easily and know what they’re missing assignments are for instance or what their grade percentage is when I’m doing report cards. I can put notes in about supports that students are given For assignments. Finally because it is an online green book I can work at home which maybe I should have better boundaries but I do like to grade at home or I can work at school and I don’t have to pack something back-and-forth. Cons Learning to use iGradePlus has been a little challenging, especially printing reports. Printing reports has been frustrating to learn how to do it but now that I have it it’s useful and helpful. It has just taken me a while to get there and I’ve wasted a lot of paper printing off reports that didn’t do what I wanted. I will admit that I, just this week, discovered that I could go to my list of students and from that place print report for each student that specifically listed what I wanted. I’ve been using I grade for about five years. Maybe there’s a tutorial that I haven’t found that would’ve been helpful. If there isn’t a tutorial would be nice. Review Source MA Melissa A. I have my gradebook created and ready for when we can jump all in. Pros This is a great product. It lets me enter grades easily and quickly for each assignment. It also lets me put details if I like about each one. Secondly the attendance feature is simple and easy to use. An added feature is the behavior chart so I can let the mom know there are issues. The grade report gives me the variety of using % or actual points per page. It really helps. Cons I wish the report feature was better. Bulk upload scores if most students received the same grade to speed up entry. Can see the average for each student without having to search for it. It is easy to modify an assignment. Cons I'm unable to rearrange assignments to put them in an order that works better for me. For example, if I add an assignment, it goes to the end, even if it is due before the last assignment. Cons We are still learning the software, and so do not have many challenges. Having come from a public education system, it should be noted that this is a more comprehensively available communication platform than is typically included in the system used there. The only challenge that we have had with the free version is being able to input courses with overlapping start dates. Functionality with quarter timing has been challenging. As a homeschool mom teaching multiple grades and subjects it helped me to stay organized. My main need was to automate the calculation of grades. I got that and many other features with igrade plus. There is one main feature I would like to see added which keeps me from giving 5 stars. I would really love to see all the classes and lesson plans (or at least links to them) for the day. Pros I love that it keeps a gradebook and lesson plans on one site. I saw multiple websites with one or the other, but having both AND for free is amazing. Cons I would like a view that shows me all my lesson plans for the day. If I could look at a daily overview it would help in structuring my day. June 6, 2025 2.0 Fix the tablet issue for teachers, then I will be able to give a better overall grade to the program, Pros As a teacher is all the functions that we need as a desktop program. Attendance, behavior, assignment is it wonderful. Cons HOWEVER, I use a tablet while in the actual classroom to take attendance, grade and such.
