Sprout Social was also a consideration, but Hootsuite’s pricing and user-friendly interface suited my needs better. I found it easy to schedule posts both from the app and my computer. Cons The price makes it absolutely unaffordable for small businesses, freelancers and people just starting out. Maybe for people/businesses who post multiple times a day there's some value in the time saved, but for folks who only want to post a couple times a week, $1,200USD per year means you're paying more than $10 per post. There are so many other platforms offering the same services making it ridiculous to deal with Hootsuites lack of customer service. Pros I liked the Hootsuite calendar tools and the ability to streamline my social media activity. Cons Hootsuite failed to offer reliable customer service. I had issues with billing and they repeatedly failed to remedy the flaws in their system.
