Pros

Managing Digital Marketing Online has great automation features, and comparing the competitive advantage in the market before the update that increased privacy for all companies and now you barely see good information

Cons

most likely what stopped me from using it was the update that occurred 6-8 months ago which stopped all third-party software like Sprout Social and SEM rush and a lot of other marketing tools from getting useful data to their users, it completely made this software useless for me

Simplified, user-friendly social media monitoring and management tools--and great reporting! I forgot to mention that. Having used HootSuite for a while before this, I feel that Sprout is a much better match both for me and my clients, and it continues to get better all the time.

Pros

I like its ease of use (particularly the ViralPost feature). Sprout Social is clearly designed to make the life of a social media manager or consultant as easy as possible, and they are continually releasing new features and improvements. They actively solicit feedback on how their product could be improved, and they act on that feedback too. Sprout's tech support is also top notch. They are great communicators and always available via chat to answer your questions.

Cons

I think content discovery is still a little challenging within the tool (and I don't mind so much because it's not a main feature that I was looking for when I chose Sprout), but I believe Sprout is working on ways to enhance this.

Sprout Social has helped us address at-volume comments on multiple social media platforms. We could not address the volume of comments we get without Sprout. It also helps us keep comments in one place - time is saved when we don't have to log in to multiple platforms to address comments that might be old.

Pros

We love Sprout Social - it makes it easy for us to track comments on ads and posts across Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Instagram. Our team gets comments at a huge volume and it's great to use Sprout to assign tasks and set goals with the reports section.

Cons

It's fairly straightforward -- might be nice to mention/notify teammates within Sprout in addition to being able to assign tasks to teammates.

Cons

Would love to see more integration of paid Facebook features. Other than that, I have no complaints really.

A powerful tool for content managers to keep their clients organized and planned in advance. There are other tools out there but sprout felt to be the most simple for our needs.

Pros

It’s let’s our team collaborate on the multiple social media platforms we run for multiple brands. Being able to schedule posts and allow clients to review image/video and copy before hand is a lifesaver. It’s also really nice to be able to respond to reviews and posts right in the app without having to navigate to the site itself. The reporting is robust and the ability to sort and tag by content type makes keeping things in order super easy and organized.

Cons

We find it hard to justify to our clients the price of the social listening tools. The current option is too pricey.

Sprout makes it pretty easy to track multiple accounts, even for multiple parties. It's probably the best social media software I've used. The reporting is simple and it's reliable when scheduling posts.

Cons

The interface can be hard to navigate when you first start using it. There's a lot of functionality hidden in their menus.

Love the Program, not the expense.

Pros

Sprout Social has endless possibilities with posting, scheduling, task assigning, analytics and more. I love the ease of use. The app works really well and I wish I could afford to put everyone on my team on the plan.

Cons

It is just so expensive, and as a smaller company we just can't justify spending thousands of dollars a year to get more than 1 account user. Love the program, just don't have room in the budget to use all of its amazing benefits.

I do wish that the content library was available for corporate users and not just Enterprise. I feel like this feature would be incredibly helpful.

Pros

I like having a hub to store photos (the asset library) as well as a hub for all user activity across multiple social media accounts (smart inbox).

Cons

\*The maximum number of images that can be added to the Asset Library at a time is 10, and if you want to batch 'tag' all of the photos, you can only choose 1 'tag' per set of 10. For content creators that upload hundreds of photos to the asset library per week (like my team), this makes for an extremely cumbersome process. \*You can't search the asset library by file name. You can only sort by file name, date added/modified /etc or search visually. It is truly incredible that there is no "search by name" function for the asset library. \* The mobile app does not offer access to the Asset Library - a huge pitfall, as my company invests a lot of time and resources in building the Asset Library. We are then unable to publish content on-the-go using asset library images. \*The Reports area does not give the ability to customize the data that appears in a report. i.e. if I want to draw data from multiple reports, I can't choose to create a custom report using only the data I selected. \*The listening tool comes at an added cost.

Pros

I tried a bunch of social marketing solutions while searching for one that fit me and my companies. SproutSocial was one that I looked at. It has an impressive list of features and reports, and is very easy to learn, which is a definite plus. I'm a fan of the one-column feed layout... the multiple streams on one page that other solutions offer just seems so cluttered and hard to maintain for me. SproutSocial makes it easy to see at a glance what is going on, to track social media engagements, and to interact with your brand followers on social media seamlessly.

Cons

First, let's get it out of the way... SproutSocial is expensive. To effectively run a social media marketing platform, you will require more than one user account. At it's current price, SS is unaffordable for most small or medium-sized businesses. Building custom reports, tracking team activity, and sharing reports outside of SS are also all on a higher tier plan, when those are things that should be included in all plans as they are essential for a social media team to function as part of a larger business team. You can't add multiple images to posts, filtering posts is lackluster, and you can't post to Facebook groups currently, while other solutions have already managed to sort that. Overall, there are other options with similar features at a far lower price point.

Pros

One thing I love the most about sprout social is its ability to easily integrate with other important softwares such as Google Analytics, Zendesk, Feedly and more

Cons

There’s nothing I’m that I dislike about social sprout but yes I do think their customer support could be a bit more responsible and try to respond to our mails within 12-24 hrs

Customer service is great, product is good and I like the employee advocacy element.

Pros

Scheduling made easy, with lots of extras. Itis visually appealing and easy to categorise and add in imagery with a direct link to Canva etc.

Cons

There are some basic functions like being able to repeat evergreen content that are missing. Ths is quite frustrating.

Reason for choosing Sprout Social

Pros

Sprout Social is an amazing platform. I use it to schedule posts for multiple accounts and monthly reporting for my clients. It makes everything extremely visual and has so many features to take your reporting, engagement and management needs to the next level. I couldn't survive without it.

Cons

Sometimes, when it comes to scheduling, some wonky things happen when I try to upload a photo or video - but a quick refresh usually fixes the problem.

Sprout Social provides multiple integrations like - IG, FB, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. They also have API for Google Analytics and HubSpot. Thus, making things work very efficiently.

Pros

1\. You can select and schedule post as per optimized time2. Multiple metric like - Average engagement per message, Total potential information, Average Positive Sentiment, etc. helps you plan content better3. They have a fantastic support team to get your queries resolved instantly

Cons

They charge on a per user basis and this becomes very expensive.

As a social media manager, Sprout Social software was my first introduction to a full package software that had everything I needed to post to all of my social media platforms, follow conversations for better engagement and a full library of reports to use for my company and my clients. Their customer service is also amazing.

Pros

I loved that it integrated seamlessly with social media platorms and news feed aggregators like Feedly. It was also easy to create multiple profiles and post to them effortlessly.

Cons

Unless you have a lot of profiles and have a need for all of the tools offered, the software can get a bit pricey compared to other options on the market.

With a great interface and good customer service, you can't go wrong with giving Sprout Social a try.

Pros

Anyone that is a new or seasoned user will agree that it is easy to use and convenient as well as easy to understand. Posts can be queued in order to fill down time and the analytics are great!

Cons

My most major con with this software is the cost. I feel as though it is not worth as much as it cost so if they could lower it a bit, I'd then say no cons!

Decent experience, and ease of use to manage a team of coordinators.

Pros

You get what you pay for. Having directorial control to delegate tasks is a big deal for our organization. Doing this in Sprout is easy, but doesn't come cheap.

Cons

Social networks appear to be limiting organic reach more and more each day. I have heard rumblings that using a social media management tool to schedule posts actually reduces your organic reach even more. This seems plausible considering the scheduling features Facebook has implemented and how they would want to reward you for using their own platform entirely.

This is the easiest social media platform tool I have used. We have tons of accounts set up inside it and it allows us to very easily. You can download their app and become a scheduler to post multiple things to Instagram which is an extremely handy feature.

Pros

We have a team in Europe and team in the US. This platform allows us to have two different groups set up with users in their respective places. We can only look at the others groups so we can see what they are doing, but not edit them.

Cons

I wish the custom reporting was available in the lowest plan you pay for. They could come out with more features a bit quicker.

Even when I jump on a call with their support - they've been so helpful and so quick to get things done for me.

Pros

I absolutely love using sprout social both on desktop and mobile - but their mobile app is far above and beyond the capabilities of others in the space. It's intuitive, easy to use, and always gets the job done.

Cons

Most of the features I didn't like previously, I spoke with support and they've made updates for. The last thing I really dislike is that to create one post for all five platforms I use, I still can't create only one post with handle variations for the platforms.

Sprout Social saves me so much time. I can schedule posts in advance across channels and can generate reports based on performance. An easy win-win for anyone on the management side.

Pros

Scheduling posts in advance is so easy. You don't even have to think about it, which is great when compared to the list of other things you may have to do on the management side. Peace of mind is the greatest thing Sprout Social offers you and I love it for that.

Cons

For some features/tools, you have to dig within tabs to find them (which is annoying) - but once you know where everything is, it's a solid program to use.
