A ton of things such as fuel cost integration, inspections, ease of use, web based, inventory, reporting and etc... Pros The ease of use is by for the best part. Our previous fleet management software felt like too much. Plus when our previous software had updates with more features those features cost more money. Fleetio keeps the updates coming with no additional cost. Cons Fuel card integration is not dependable thus far. It has been the biggest headache with the software. I can easily transfer the data manually with the given template for the time being though. This by no means is a deal breaker for us though. We totally use the system for two reason; 1. Fleet maintenance 2. Inventory. Between the two we want to know what we are spending. Review Source MC Mike C. Cons There are areas for most equipment and vehicles, some of the equipment we own isn’t listed. Not a deal breaker, just food for thought for the developers. Pros Fleetio is user friendly; I'm not the most technologically savvy individual but the training sessions provided were more than enough to help me feel comfortable using the software myself as well as showing others on my team how to use it. The ability to do DVIR was an awesome addition and will cut out a lot of the bs process we have currently. Cons I wish it had a better inventory tracking feature. Also I found myself scouring the internet for industry/state specific DOT regulations to make sure I was checking all of the boxes. From sales to onboarding, everything has been simple and required little assistance. Pros What I like most about this software is that I can manage my maintenance schedules from anywhere and set up automated reminders. Cons When looking at a specific vehicle, there are no arrows to go back to move on to the next vehicle. Reason for choosing Fleetio I don't remember the names of the other products, but Fleetio has all necessary options for our company. We also use Samsara as asset tracking. Review Source BE BOBBY E. Ability to develop useful reports and mobile app which integrates every user in a friendly interface. Pros The system is well setup. Easy to use, and user friendly. I am able to navigate to different parts and it provides highly useful options and reports for my needs. The price point is great too and allows me to afford something with a robust platform to grow. Cons So far no complaints, had an issue with pulling in mileage in KM vs MI but that was been resolved. November 20, 2012 5.0 I would highly recommend fleetio to anyone or any organization that is looking to maintain their vehicles on time and with record keeping accuracy. In 2012 we have spent a little more than usual on regular maintenance because the system helps us keep up with service mileages better than before. Because of the regularity of servicing, major problems have been at a minimum, we are no longer having extremely costly repairs due to the fact that things were not serviced in a timely manner. In return, I think we have saved thousands of dollars because of this system. The organization of service records makes end of quarter/year reports a breeze. There is no more looking through multiple files to find the right documents... everything is organzied and ready at the click of the mouse. It has been great, I don't know what I would do without the software. Pros Fleetio is very easy to use. It's implementation into our daily operations was very easy. Cons The main fuel card system we use is not compatible with the system therefore we don't use that feature. Review Source RG Riley G. April 5, 2018 4.0 up to the minute information Pros The inspection section, as a small fleet i found it hard getting all the paperwork handed in with employees being all over the country side. Fleetio puts inspections from employees in my hands as soon as they are completed. Issues are a great help as well, it not only keeps me up to date with what is going on with the equipment, my employees see what others have found wrong with the equipment. Cons not being able too provide a printed inspection from the App. Us as a commercial carrier have to provide inspections if requested at inspection stations and as it site right now i have not found an fast way to print inspections of units. It was a headache before we had fleetio to remind us when our 9 company vehicles needed service. Cons The only downside is I wish they had OBD2 connectors for the vehicles so that we did not have to update vehicle information manually. It is not overwhelming, but it has all the right features a small fleet need company like ours. Cons Worked well so far(2 years). Right now navigation seems quite easy" June 21, 2017 4.0 I am new I have only used the fuel side, but I have benefited a lot from using that feature. It saves me a lot of time. Pros Like I said previously, I am a new client so I am still getting to know Fleetio. However, I love the fact that we are able to upload spreadsheets, it saves me a lot of time. Tracking mpg per vehicle has been tremendously easy compared to the method we used prior to Fleetio. I haven't used the safety side yet but hopefully once I start using it I will find it to be helpful for our company. Pros Its real time, easy to navigate all features no skills required, has good features from geofence notifications to data storage for daily operations, good for speed measurement. It's still early and very new, but I'm hopeful that it will stay this way! Pros Ease of use and option to add trackers, as opposed to them coming standard with Fleetio. This is what we were looking for our project managers - the ability to come and go as they please, only having to check out vehicles and log maintenance, accidents, etc and without us tracking their every movement in the vehicle they took for the day. Other companies were offering too many features, like bread crumb tracking, gas mileage tracking, rough breaking, speeding. It was almost an invasion of privacy of our project managers. Fleetio's basic fleet logging and tracking is simple and good for a small company like North State Steel. It's also priced well. Cons I don't like that Fleetio doesn't have their own tracking devices. Instead they are purchased through a third party and then integrated with Fleetio. I wish Fleetio had a complete package deal. " January 5, 2021 5.0 I had the equipment and users set up in less than 2 hours. Explaining to the mechanics how to use the app and how to close work orders, add labor, and parts for all repairs. Pros The ease of use, setting up users, and the VIN decode is so much easier than inputting all the information manually.
