Every time I need assistance, I'm able to talk to one of two experts from the software company whith in 24hrs of my inquiry. They, then, easily walk me through my issue. It's difficult to make the adjustment if there are 2payment types for 1 customer...also you have to wait for a return call if you have questions, however they respond very quickly. I like the tenant portal, it was one of the things I had to have when looking for rental software. It was really nice being able to have all of my properties in one place and see what is going on. With the layout of this you are able to see a picture of your place the address and how much is owed. April 9, 2017 4.0 When you make changes, put it up as a splash screen for all users when they first login after you rollout the change. Have links to explain the changes. Pros As a new landlord this product set me on the right path in controlling all the business information. The relationships between accounts and tenants and properties are the biggest plus. Rentec Direct helps to take some of the anxiety out of finding a new tenant. Telling potential renters ahead of any viewing that I do the checks discourages some from applying but also saves everyone time and energy. The website is easy to use and gives results with in seconds. I can't speak about the other features offered as I only so far need the credit check part. Also when I have requested phone help, I was contacted back immediately and given the help I needed. That was quite a surprise, as the last company that did SS checks for us was non responsive. October 13, 2016 5.0 This is the perfect software for screening my tenants. I like that it gives you an narrow range rather than an exact credit score. When you try to get the exact score, you open yourself up to larger compliance issues that you really don't need. The reports I get are instantaneous and the billing is easy. I highly recommend Rentec...! Pros Instant answers...! Cons It's not free...!
