Apps that allow for automatic provisioning save a lot of time, just add a group to the app and all users on that group are added to the app so we don't have to setup users in various SAS apps. Pros Large app integration catalogue. Most of our apps already had integrations available so getting started was quick and easy. Cons Cost is a factor when implementing this product. For many tools and lot of permissions, it’s what you need. Pros Access and permission setup are fine tuned, no plug and play which give more custom but once all is setup it work perfectly. Working from different devices is now possible after Okta as all my credential and login information is securely stored on Okta and I can access it from anywhere. Issue like wrong password or incomplete credential is solved by using Okta. Cons Okta keep sending notification to change my password for every 3 months. Pros Recently, Okta has come out with the Okta Fast Pass that uses biometrics to make signing in a breeze. Before this, it could be annoying to have to repeatedly enter your password. There are also options to receive push notifications. Cons Entering in your password over and over is never fun, but with the Fast Pass, it really does make this process much easier. It works well with all the apps we use and the security is strong. Pros I really like Okta’s single sign-on SSO feature. It makes logging into all our apps so easy. It’s simple for both our IT team to set up and for employees to use. Multifactor authentication adds good security. Overall - Okta saves us a lot of time and makes managing access simple. Cons Setting up process is difficult for new users. Some features are harder to figure out like customizing security settings. The pricing looks expensive - especially for smaller companies. January 31, 2025 5.0 It is a good product but the mobile app needs improvement. Pros Okta has a very good security system like an in-built 2 factor authentication, also it has many tools which can be accessed using a single login, our organization has our own tool which we ll need to login and verify using Okta so that we have access to it so overall its a very good product with various ways to authenticate ourselves.
