Pros

Very helpful customer support and the site is feature rich. Also in the several years we've been using it we didn't notice any downtime.

Cons

The menus has some learning curve to it but the customer support team more than makes up for it since they are always willing to help.

Pros

The best part about ReferralCandy is how easy it is to set up and integrate with Shopify. The referral workflows are fully automated and beautifully designed, which helps create a seamless experience for customers. We also loved the analytics dashboard—it’s straightforward and gives clear insights into performance and ROI.

Cons

Well RC is not a pretty big referral company compare with impact, CJ, shareAsale. So their function is not pretty fancy.

Pros

The base concept of their offerings is just great. We wanted a simple and automated way customers or others could refer and get rewarded. They seem to be exactly what we are looking for. I am still in the trail and yet to see if work on a large scale, but if they deliver what they promise it will transform our companies growth. I love it's integration with Chargebee (as long as it works). So far the customer support team has been very responsive and that matters a lot to me. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] specifically have been helpful.

Cons

I found the dashboard UI not intuitive and there were glitches once our Chargebee account and Referral Candy were linked saying they weren't linked, but then one day they it solved itself. Unnerving, but hopefully all figured out.

None for now. We're new user as of now. Hopefully all is good ahead with our Referral pgm rollout in next couple of days.

Pros

I really like the strong anti-fraud system they use and how easy it is to manage referrals. The support team is outstanding. Innah was extremely patient and helpful, guiding me step by step whenever I had questions.

Cons

What I like least about ReferralCandy is that a member does not have a single unified dashboard that shows everything about all the campaigns they are part of. It would be great if they could add this, so members don’t have to deal with multiple different dashboard links and get confused.

Where I was really surprised was the excellent support and many thanks to Innah who was so patient with my issues and was highly motivated to find a solution. Now everything works out and I can highly recommend the app for all shopify users.

Pros

First of all, I was seeking for a good referral program app which is ideal for Shopify and referralcandy is the nonplusultra for that. I can confirm that the functions and tools are very professional and flexibel.

Cons

All good. Just for the domain setup (if you want to send all e-mails via your domain) you need some technical knowledge. But honestly, just ask the AI and it works out.

Pros

They took the time to walk me through everything step by step and were always available to offer support whenever I needed it. Their responsiveness and expertise made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Cons

The integration process was a bit more confusing than I expected, and the backend isn’t the most intuitive. It took some time to get everything set up, but the support team was incredibly helpful in guiding me through it.

The support from \[sensitive content hidden\] was fantastic. It dows its job quite well. We are looking at improving how we use it and this is what we used the support for successfully.

Cons

It is not as instinctive as I would like it to be as far as navigation. Which Premier league comes down to the difference between the website and using the app directly inside Shopify, the later does a much better job.

Pros

ReferralCandy was extremely easy to implement and is very easy to manage day-to-day. The support is also great; I typically get all issues resolved very quickly. It is also affordable compared to other options.

Cons

I'd just like to see more features that allow us to customize the ReferralCandy experience. The best example would be a feature that would allow us to control when we send rewards to advocates. Some advocates complain that payouts only happen on a monthly basis. If we could control payouts and make them more frequent if we wanted to, like some other referral platforms allow, that would be excellent!

Reason for choosing ReferralCandy

The setup / implementation was so much easier with ReferralCandy and it was also a much more cost-effective option.

My experience so far has been very positive - and when I was struggling to figure something out, Jessa hopped on a zoom call with me to walk me through everything I needed!

Pros

I love that I can use this software to track referrals for my in-person appointment based business, where I still want to offer rewards to my clients. This takes away the stress of having to keep track of punch cards! ReferralCandy integrated very nicely with my website built on Squarespace, and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] helped me figure out how to integrate it specifically with my booking process!

Cons

I am a very tech-savvy person and always have an easy time figuring out new technology and software. I do think this was a little bit challenging to figure out how to integrate it at first - however it was because I was trying to implement it specifically for people who book appointments with me rather than a normal cart checkout. I think it would be seamless and effortless to figure out for a normal cart checkout!

wish there was a tab that would show you who you have personally invited to the referralcandy programme as influencers - i understand i can export the customer list and then filter through however i think having a special tab for those influencer emails you have manually added will help a lot of peo\[le using referralcandy for influencer affiliate programmes!

Nothing specific. Referral Candy meets almost all our referral program needs. Just a small suggestion that if the API could be made more extensive.

Simple to use and navigate. Can search customers in the backend easily.

Cons

Tracking is not efficient. Wish there were more referral/ ways to earn rewards capabilities. Does not integrate with Shopify well. Customers can't stack rewards. They can only use 1 code per order.

I love how easy it is to implement. Also the customer service is responsive which is helpful for a first time user.

Cons

I wish there were better tracking options. Outside of integrations there aren't too many ways to track performance.

Outstanding - we use a large number of applications but they have hands down the most amazing team when it comes to stepping in and really solving problems, even going so far as to proactively adjust our usage of the platform to make sure we're getting the most out of it ^\_^

Pros

By far the BEST thing about Referral Candy is how flexible the team is when it comes to how you want to use it. With programmes that allow us to flexibly manage high volume referrals while also offering something straightforward and simple for customers to get behind, we have been able to really drive home our messaging and get our community excited about spreading the word.

Cons

We have a bad habit of wanting applications (and teams!) we like to do more than they ever meant to - but an increased level of flexibility when it comes to offering incentives to advocates and their friends would be our top ask :)
