Having a pretty map isn't worth all this headache. Pros Being able to use an image in the seating reservation map Cons Their system had a bug where confirmed bookings weren't being marked as unavailable to new users, meaning every seat would open up for double booking after being purchased. After babysitting our event orders for duplicates and getting no response from support over the weekend, we finally got a response that they fixed it. So far they've offered no explanation and haven't actually fixed our existing orders being open to duplicates. Review Source CM Christa M. It also allowed registrants to be kept anonymous from one another, though the administrator had access to all the information. Cons Eventzilla was easy to use, but some of the links were cumbersome to navigate. It was not easy to change the theme and then update a description of the event and then change the location since these items were all different links that required multiple clicks. The software is really easy to use, and definitely adds a lot of professionalism to any event you may have. Everything is very quick and straightforward; perfect for a small business. Cons Some customization features are missing, and sometimes some features don't always link properly. The hyperlink buttons to Paypal or Facebook would not work, and this in turn would time out customers who were attempting to pay for tickets. Customer service is capable, but has a long wait time. Pros I used this for the first time creating an event page for a local fashion show. I used the Per Attendee version but they do have a free option if your event is free to the public. Chose Eventzilla for attractiveness and ability to brand along with easy integration with MailChimp. Cons I wish there was more traffic from those browsing available events. Cons Sometimes guests who are purchasing tickets have a problem following directions and end up with incomplete orders so maybe that process needs a bit of attention. Quick set up, accepting payments, payment integration with easy payment for customers, the ability to track traffic to your site. Overall it made planning and executing an event easy and organized everything into one place. Pros Ease of use, customization options, use online or in person. It was so easy to organize, plan and manage however many people were involved. Cons It could use a multi function search options. Managing a large amount of people can get tricky. It could use columns you can itemize like a pivot table or Access. No phone support and when you addin the payment fees with your other payment site fees it can get pricey. Review Source Anna M. Pros I like how it can be integrated into your own website. I like that it is free (mostly) if you don't charge for the event. Cons I wish we could customize it more without paying the extra price. I would particularly like to be able to customize the confirmation/reminder e-mails to add the venue room number and change the contact name. Some users claim they are not getting the reminder e-mails. Fees were somewhat high, but typical and expected for one of these services. WePay sent monthly payouts rather than a single payout after our event, which would have been preferable. Pros I like the fact that I can communicate with all registered attendees at the click of a button! Cons Needs to be more customization -- even the Pro lacks what I would think are easy to implement customization (i.e. name badges: doesn't allow for much versatility when customizing. Our registration and check-in processes were greatly refined. That's a big deal when you're hosting 1,800 people! This product is a work in progress, though, and it shows through in the details. The site is frequently slow. Typos are frequent (this is a big deal when it's public facing), and the manual check-in process is agony to use with a list size of over 1,000 (no search function is provided). It quickly and flawlessly creates sites for making events. I ran a big event and used this the whole way through. It is handy to see who is coming, a list of no shows and tips to eliminate.
