May 14, 2019 4.0 Awesome. Called customer Service once when I was setting it up and they were great. Everything else was seamless Pros Simple to use and easy to navigate between features. I use it to organize local fun sports events. There are more robust platforms, but I find that they just overcomplicate what I need. The simple and affordable options that eventzilla offers are a better bet! Cons I would like to be able to add in additional demographics under each ticket. For example I want to sell a Ticket to a runner who wants to do one of three events that take place at the same time (a 5km,10km, and 1/2marathon). I could get lists of registrants, and see what they paid. I could send them email with updated information. It also integrated quite well into my website. Cons I could not 1. format the email notices, and when they were sent, they were always centered. 2. use the social media option. I tried many times, but nothing seemed to work 3. Eventzilla is a game changer for us. Pros Eventzilla is user-friendly, easily customizable and offers a secure way to take credit card payments online. Cons Let me first say that this product is awesome! The only drawback for my business is that Eventzilla - as the name implies - is designed for events. We would love to be able to use this platform for all credit card transactions, including annual campaign donations, youth sports sign ups, membership payments, etc. The "Ticket" verbiage, which can't be modified, is awkward for purposes outside events. But the best thing is probably the price. Especially when compared to Eventbrite. I like the white label options too. Cons It takes some time to figure you the admin interface. I haven't used it as a default but some event organizers have chosen this platform, so I've had a chance to check it out. Pros The cloud based operation makes it less likely tickets will get lost, or in the worst situations (of which many of us have experienced) tickets that aren't actually real. So far it's much more user-friendly. Pros Not a whole lot....but it was free, so we had hoped it would work for us since we do not charge our attendees a fee. Cons Wait list functionality was confusing. Also, when searching by name of registrant, it wasn't clear what the difference was between "Orders" and "Attendees". June 1, 2017 4.0 Pros Duplicating/cloning past events to save on time for setting up new events. Being able to export name badges, attendee lists, etc is awesome. Cons Would like the events on dashboard (past and present events) to be searchable. Also would prefer the most current events show up at the top of the dashboard rather than the bottom. But then it discourages my prospects from buying, so not even a lesser cost qualifies as something I like "most" Cons many times when prospects click on the link, it does not process correctly. The more motivated prospects then email or call and tell me that it is not working and send a check instead. Of course it does work, you just need to repeat click, but that's not how other packages work. But we only used the free version so we couldn't take advantage of some features. Still, it allowed us to organize the invites and monitor them as well. Pros It was mostly easy to use. And it had that limited free version that we tried out for our event. It really helped us with the event and showed me how useful the features are. Cons Payment options weren't easy to understand. Using this software made the event planning experience a lot less stressful. Pros I knew nothing about Eventzilla before I used it. I found it very easy to learn, very easy to use and the data that I was able to see was exactly what I needed to manage my event. Cons It was a little tough to navigate to the place where I could see total site views. If total site/event views were easier to navigate to, then there would be no cons to the software. Pros As a usergroup administrator, Eventzilla is a great tool to organize meetups. Both as a registration tool, but also a tool to keep attendees up to date on the event. The mobile app is also super useful as a tool to scan the attendees and keeping track of how many there are at each event. It’s an easy way for us to display our event calendar on out website. We use 2 widgets. The upcoming events widgets and the event calendar widget. Even though we’ve tried using other platforms for sharing our events, Eventzilla has the best free event calendar widget that is compatible with our website. Love it! Cons It’s not a site I ever hear about people using to browse through events. So it’s a great platform for sharing an event link with invitees but not so much if you want outsiders to see your event and rsvp without first having been sent a link to the event. So we need to collect their contact details and check regular attendees of our programs. Getting the consolidated report was very useful. If there was a way to compare my events and filter the common attendees by some unique number or email ID would be great. Pros The ease of use. The features were sectioned nicely and not many unwanted features crowding the platform. So it was quick to learn and create an event. Cons I didn't send the tickets with the reminder for the event when it was sent a few hours before the event. I expected them to scan their tickets on their phones if not manually I would check them in. Since they bought the tickets long back they had to dig through their inbox to get it. So, along with the reminder I would suggest it should send the ticket as well with the QR code. Review Source SH Selena H. It's also great having automated reminders sent. Pros I like the way that you can automatically send an event reminder to people in advance of the event. It helps cut down on people forgetting and missing the event. Cons It's not as smooth as it could be to use. It looks a bit clunky. It could also be easier to export the registrants when printing out a sign in sheet, for example. November 14, 2017 3.0 Pros The configuration of the welcome page was good and that the attendees do not need to create an account. Cons Capturing question is everything but ideal, and is currently the showstopper for more. I wanted a rather simple setup: - Will you come alone or will you bring your spouse - Will you use the bus offered to and from the location and how many will join the bus - Any special meals your or your spouse required - I/we will not join but still let you know that I'm not coming Therefore I made a selection for 1 or 2 tickets. But since all questions are populated to both tickets, everything thereafter is just a mess to cleanup. And double registration is not prevented.
