### "Eventzilla Review"

July 31, 2019

4.0

We have been very satisfied with Eventzilla.

Pros

Eventzilla is an economical and viable alternative to more expensive ticketing systems. Eventzilla is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. We were sold by the daily payment option and lower costs compared to competitors.

Cons

The Help section doesn't cover some topics. We had a problem with a couple events with multiple dates and times cutting off ticket sales way too early and I have yet to figure out how to set the TOTAL number of seats/tickets available correctly when assigning ticket price levels. We had several complaints from patrons when using PayPal payments but most issues were resolved once we used the internal WePay option.

### "One of the leading event registration and ticketing software program in the market"

April 3, 2019

4.0

We use it for our event registration needs. We are really happy with the tool.

Pros

Inexpensive licensing model. Setup is super easy and easy to use Abstract management and accommodation features are super useful

Cons

I did not see any disadvantages with the tool as of now.

### "Great tool for creating a ticketed event. "

August 6, 2019

5.0

Somewhat satisfied. Would consider using another software if I could find a cheaper solution.

Pros

This tool allows you to build out an event landing page for ticket purchasing. My organization's members and I found that building events on this software was fairly easy. We were able to increase the revenue generated by our philanthropic events significantly by using this software.

Cons

Some features of Eventzilla can be somewhat un intuitive and difficult to learn. I found it nearly impossible to point a domain which I had purchased to our eventzilla landing page... This of course could have been user error but I thought it should be easier to do! Additionally, it was very difficult to get a hold of a customer service rep when we had difficulty with our event page.

### "Great replacement for Eventbrite"

Fantastic

Pros

Robust set of features, Stripe integration for instant payouts

Cons

A bit less intuitive than Eventbrite, but not prohibitive

Eventbrite suddenly stopped paying event organizers advanced payouts. Caused an immediate switch.

### "Good Alternative for event registration"

July 23, 2018

4.0

Overall it has been a useful tool. Creating events is really simple and once you have a template, editing it for future events is a snap. Eventzilla also makes check in super simple which has sped up our registration check in lines. I do wish there was a way to do a few customizations on the tickets. We often giveaway items at our events and wish you could print things like sizing or some sort of code on each person's ticket. Its not a deal breaker by any means, would just be a nice feature.

Pros

Overall it is easy to use and customize. We use it for internal events that our staff attend and customizing it to our needs is pretty easy.

Cons

Occasionally editing is difficult. If you are creating a multiple choice option and make a mistake, its not easy to just edit the one line that has a mistake, rather you have to delete it which then changes the order of how you had things listed. This can be corrected, but its an extra step I'd rather not have to make.

### "Overall I like Eventzilla"

December 7, 2018

4.0

Pros

Ease of use; everyone seems to be using the other event app but I like Eventzilla.

Cons

Some of the more important features such as the maximum number of seats seem hidden away under a few layers, and may conflict with RSVP numbers before the event is listed as “sold out”.

### "Good program as long as you don't have limited seating for your event."

January 12, 2016

3.0

Pros: Fairly simple to set up, seems simple for attendees to use, multiple views of attendee data, ability to email attendees. I like the export function because it allows me to save the attendee data in Excel and manipulate it to suit my needs. Customer Service via chat was prompt and effective. Cons: Does not work for events with limited seating due to "pending" tickets not being pulled from seating totals. Anyone choosing to pay at the door ends up in "pending" unless you manually confirm the ticket. If you do, it puts that customer in with those who have paid and you have no way of identifying them at check-in. A couple of times before our event I had to go in and adjust the number of available tickets to compensate for the "pending" attendees. Too many attendees had trouble with the payment process and ended up on the "incomplete/abandoned" list. From what I gather from attendees, many thought they had to have a PayPal account when they got to the payment page, so they backed out. A PayPal account is not required for payment processing since we have an account. Somehow the interface should be reviewed to avoid confusing potential attendees. Customer service via chat was prompt and effective. I'm still waiting for an email response to a question I was promised, but now our event is over. There should be a way to move attendees that end up on the "incomplete/abandoned" list to the "pending" list if they have chosen to pay at the gate.

### "A user friendly, visually friendly-ish tool that could use some updates"

April 26, 2017

4.0

We've been using Eventzilla for quarterly classes and event registrations. There are bugs in the system we don't like, but we've figured out a way around some of them to make it work for us. I took on the task of managing the tool without any training provided to me and it's been relatively easy to pick up as the site options are pretty intuitive. The tool has some limitations such as not being able to track sent messages, like when you've notified someone to complete their registration, or when you've notified someone on your waitlist that they can register. Another thing that bothers me is it will not allow us to overbook an event as the the administrator, which means if you cap your event, you have to go through a lengthy and risky process of opening registration up again to the public if you want to register someone on the back-end after your event has reached max cap or it's past the registration deadline. This is something we have to do a lot and it is time-consuming. Overall the tool is useful and pretty user-friendly, but we would like to have better email tracking and customer tracking abilities and will be exploring other options.

Pros

Easy to use.

Cons

Very little if any tracking capabilities.

### "We love Eventzilla!"

August 23, 2017

5.0

Ease of managing registration and I love that it's free. We are a non-profit so it's so appreciated that you keep the basic free!

Pros

I was hesitant to try a registration management site I had not heard of before, but I went ahead and did it. I've been very impressed in how great it works! It's pretty easy to use and if you can't find something, you can search the Q&A section. I've been using it a little over a year now for various events for our non-profit and I love the fact they keep the costs low, and even free for the general system. We will continue to use and promote Eventzilla whenever possible!

Cons

Honestly, I can't think of any. I've noticed it has a tendency to remove my cover photo at times and rearrange my custom questions. But those are just little quirks that are easy to work around. Just double check everything before publishing the event!

### "Great for Virtual events as well"

November 24, 2020

5.0

Great, use it yearly.

Pros

Being able to have a ticket system that collects the info for us and also allows us to email attendees. Useful for updates and then even follow up surveys. I also love the different ticket options. Different "tiers" of tickets along with cut off dates makes having our conventions that much easier.

Cons

Nothing that I have noticed yet. Keep it up

### "Excellent Value!"

October 22, 2019

5.0

The Eventzilla app took our conference to the next level, and helped us to appear and actually be very organized.

Pros

Eventzilla made the planning, execution, and follow through of the conference significantly easier. The cost was affordable. I loved how easy it was to setup the conference information, such as agenda, speakers, etc. I wish I had discovered earlier in the planning process.

Cons

Sometimes navigating the admin hub was a little confusing as I had to search around for certain features a bit. However, overall, it was very easy to use.

### "Eventzilla made my event registration quick and easy."

April 20, 2019

4.0

I would use Eventzilla again for future events where I need online registration.

Pros

Without any real learning curve, I was able to create my event page, customize my registration process, and set up payments. The end result was a professional looking, easy to use experience for my registrants. The registrations were easy to access and track and even the custom information I was gathering was clearly presented. I was even able to use my own web address to direct people to my registration page.

Cons

I did not encounter any issues. My event was small and needs very basic. Of course, I'd like to keep every penny of registration fees, but I was able to offset the costs paid to Eventzilla without raising my cost to the registrants above what I felt was fair.

### "Eventzilla Review"

August 30, 2018

4.0

It's been decent.

Pros

I like that if you aren't charging for an event, that the registration is FREE.

Cons

It's been a challenge to take out the money for the events we have charged for since you switched from PayPal. We still have money sitting in an account from eventzilla last summer because our office admin doesn't think she should have to give her personal SSID number to take out church funds.

### "Running a business on my own..."

April 28, 2017

5.0

I didn't mean for it to become a business. I just thought I had some space and could let people use it to give dental continuing education. Before I knew it, I had 25 classes running each year and it's growing. A secretary? No need. I run it with Eventzilla! Promotion, registration, attendee lists, refunds (through PayPal). It couldn't be simpler. My only complaint is that some of my tuitions are pretty large and I pay a hefty fee with the flat percentage even though there is no extra work for that. But that does cover their free service, too, so what the heck.

Pros

Pretty easy to run.

Cons

Sometimes I find certain things hard to find....have to go through different sections to find what I'm looking for. Can't remember examples offhand.

### "Free trial, but I will be signing up! "

December 14, 2023

5.0

Pros

I am currently at the end of my free trial and I WILL be purchasing the software. With the construction industry, sometimes we are all scattered all over at differnt locations and times. With Eventzilla I am able to securely set events (meetings) whenever necessary. The video quality is great. The audio is smooth. We already have a website, but there are options for custom branded website building as well! You can also send out surveys and such as well. This seems to be a one stop shop, and we love it.

Cons

I havent found a con yet in the free trial.

### "Longtime User"

January 3, 2020

5.0

I've used Eventzilla for several years and will continue to use for events that are free.

Pros

I like that I can customize the the registration link with the event name in it. I like that you are able to create more than one ticket type.

Cons

I didn't like all the information requested if you're having an event where fees are collected. Most sites just send you the payout to whatever address you select. Eventzilla wanted bank information for the company which I was unable to provide.

### "Fabulous software to publish our monthly Continuing Education calendar for real estate"

September 8, 2017

5.0

Pros

Ease and flexibility for event creation & contact with attendees. it is so easy to create an event & link a Google map to the location. I also like that I may customize an email when someone purchases a ticket & send the attendees a reminder or change about the event.

Cons

Setting up a waiting list is a bit confusing & not automated. I wish that it was automated so when an attendee cancels, the system would automatically go to the wait list & send the next person in line an email to register for an available seat. It seems that I have to do that manually - unless I just haven't figured that part out!

### "Eventzilla makes it easy!"

July 17, 2018

5.0

Eventzilla allows us to sign up volunteers for our non-profit events for free or low cost. We've looked at other 3rd party sign-ups, but Eventzilla offers the best.

Pros

Most options we need are free. It is relatively easy to use on both ends.

Cons

Some of the features go a bit too deep to set up so if you don't go step by step, link by link, you may miss setting up something properly. Can't always tell if emails are being sent and received to registrants.

### "Great event platform "

Great platform does what I need it to do without being difficult to use.

Pros

This product is easy to use. Everything is in individual categories making is step by step to set up for whatever you’re trying to use this platform for.

Cons

I would like to see a simplified yes or no rsvp without having to be a ticket sale.

### "Excellent functionality for small group"

June 18, 2019

Pros

It is priced right and provides great functionality for a small group. The premium package is available with more bells and whistles if needed. Our group was small and wanted an online option which Eventzilla is one of the best available.

Cons

### "tickets for events, dinners, courses, etc..."

December 4, 2018

5.0

Our organization uses the tickets for dinner events, courses, and gift cards. We are limited in what we can raffle and be supported with.

Pros

Ease to setup account, create organization tailored tickets, and be live within minutes. Important to have Eventzilla review your business as well as whoever who choose to do the credit card transactions. Some types of transactions are not supported by every card processor and can be disappointing to find-out later when you have a ticket live that it gets shut down. Core value proposition for our org is we are too small and too few transactions to get into a merchant account cost effectively....so the pay as you go model is ideal.

Cons

We found no major issues. We did review EventBrite and Picatic (now part of EventBrite).

### "Workshop event registration"

August 16, 2016

4.0

I found Eventzilla through a google search. After being annoyed of the high ticketing costs from competitors, I decided to give them a try. Eventzilla is cheap, easy to use and has stellar customer service that actually answers your specific questions, rather than sending you to a message board to find the answer yourself -- what more could you want? I'd highly recommend Eventzilla.

Pros

Excellent customer service! Easy to use!

Cons

There have been a few times that the system has gotten a little buggy. Either the text would come out in different colors, or the image banner wouldn't upload. After a few attempts, I've always been able to fix it, or Eventzilla's customer service helped me fix it.

### "This is a game changer!"

December 3, 2019

5.0

All other features are wonderful. We have just came up with a more unique way to do reserved seating. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing to organize an event.

Pros

I love there are so many options on how to fill events. The instant emails and email reminders are excellent to remind attendees of start times. It also is nice to just set it up and let it go.

Cons

Setting up reserved seating is not as user friendly and it is extremely time consuming. If we could make this easier, this would be the most ideal site.

### "Eventzilla works really well!"

June 28, 2016

4.0

Our trade association has used Eventzilla for the last two of our golf outing events and will use it again next year. It was very easy to set up, even with all of our sponsorship and registration levels, and the map feature is really nice.

Pros

\- It has cool theme graphics you may select for your site. - The pay-on-line feature is very simple and easy to use. - It affords you every chance to post your event correctly, which I particularly appreciated since I had to make several corrections. - If you don't make a bunch of mistakes, set-up is quick and easy.

Cons

\- I found it a little bit confusing trying to access the spreadsheet showing registration information, but that's no doubt just my high level of computer illiteracy.
