It has been great they have been a great help to my tour business. Efficient, capable and prompt in solving any problem that occured.

Pros

I must say that this is no reflection on your service which has been fabulous! All of the booking system and user interface was easy to use and there was always very prompt help by email It was a very secure system to use and great value for money for the booking management it provided.

Cons

The only reason I am not using it in the future is because my business is expanding and I will have three websites and multiple tours which I wish to have all on the same system. The system I have chosen has given me a free website free hosting and is offering connection to a choice of 2,400 re-sellers which will expand my business hopefully. otherwise I would not have left Bookeo.

I definitely LOVE the new dashboard real time updates. It has been a game changer for me. Bookeo is definitely my pick.

Pros

I love the new real time dashboard. It tells me if someone is going to be late or if they rescheduled or cancelled their appointment.

Cons

I am not a huge fan of the social media integrations this year. I think that it distracts us when we are in our workplace.

We have been using Bookeo intensively for almost a decade and I must admit I was starting to get a little frustrated with the shortcomings it does have. The outdated UI and the lack of support being my main grieves. Therefore we decided to move to another platform. I am writing this review and have awarded the 5 stars because after experiencing the difference with quite a few other platforms, my appreciation of what Duda does do, has grown immensely. We investigated tens of other possible platforms and have actually tried to startup in Bokun and FareHarbour, having spends weeks on configuring our tours there, and oh boy: is Bookeo heaven compared to them. Yes other platforms have support via live chat or phone, but the quality of it is just painful. You need every once of patience in you to try to explain even the most simple questions to some Google-Translated (from English!) off-shore support center that can never actually do anything. They're there, but they can't do anything Yes, other platforms have a better UI, but there's a big if: IF your product fits in their system the UI is better. For every 'out of the ordinary' flow it's worse though. Much, much worse. So extreme that after having spend weeks of our time and 100's of $ on subscriptions, we had to move away because the many workarounds were not manageable for our team anymore. And then Bookeo has strengths no one else has. The multi-language system is, although working with an outdated UI in the backend, very powerful. The flexibility on how to configure a tour seems endless. The resource-management, with individual accounts for our guides and the possibility for them to sync to their private calendars, is uncomparable with any other platform. And last, but definitely not least: the price. A flat rate 30$ per month. I mean, that's practically for free, especially in compare to other platforms where they charge 150$ per month PLUS a 3 tot 30 (!) % commission on all your sold tickets. Insane! Also a little shoutout to ChatGPT, who thanks to Bookeo's extensive help-fora is very able to play the role of a very knowledgable Duda Support Agent. It's a bit of a nightmare to navigate through the fora myself and translate articles to my situation, but ChatGPT does an excellent job of that. We love you Bookeo, I'm sorry we doubted you. Please don't leave us.

Cons

The UI is a bit outdated. This especially bugs me concerning the client-facing interface. There are some possibilities with editing the CSS, but it requires a CSS expert to deal with it.

Overall very good bang for your buck, once installed was a much easier time dealing with reservations.

Pros

This booking and appointment management feature saves me hours a week. Booking is super simple for my guests and I feel secure with current setup.

Cons

Getting started gives a true learning curve and took some time debugging here and there. Otherwise it's good to go.

The UI needs customer perspective. Key rule in UI dev is to use the customer language not the internal language and to test whether your target audience reads it the way you believe they should. If not, that's on you, not the customer. I wanted to put a cap on the total number of guests who can book for any tour. Their internal use of "bookings" refers to an individual customer not the setup of the ops by the customer. They still have refused to help me adjust and the UI is NOT intuitive. I have begged, pleaded, apologized...no luck. "It's on you to figure it out. As we have mentioned a number of times, we have already told you where it is on the management dashboard." etc etc. Rude, infantilizing and btw NOT intuitive, buried under an incomprehensible tab and setting I finally found it (I'm looking for shoes? Oh they're in the vegetables aisle, but you'll have to look under the fruit." REset the total number of guests allowed and guess what. Still allows over booking. AND no one will return ANY email yet. The worst. Ironic they started out as an escape room booking platform. That's truly all I want is to escape.

Pros

Nothing. Nada. Rien. Zip. Zero. Truly abysmal.

Cons

Customer service is only available during Australia business hours. Often hostile and rude "I sent you that answer in a previous email. You can just look it up." Well, I DID search before bothering you and it would've taken less time to resend than to scold...They always choose the latter. Then ghost you.

I found 8 separate email threads containing numerous messages in which our team detailed the process for adjusting the number of participants permitted on a tour. Our customer support team consistently and repeatedly provided: - Step-by-step instructions on how to change the limit per tour - Screenshots captured from your dashboard, with the clickable buttons marked in red to indicate their positions. - Links to illustrated and detailed tutorials Additionally our support team never used the phrases you quoted in your review. Nothing even similar to that was ever sent by our team in any of our replies. Additionally, you mentioned in your review that customer service is only available during Australian business hours, which is incorrect. We offer customer support around the clock, 24/7. It has not been great, will not continue to use this app.

Pros

It is easy to sign up but I don't particularly enjoy the app

There is no free trial. SMS messages cost extra and there is no telephone support.

No credit card is required to sign up for a free trial. Only when your trial period is about to expire, you will receive an email asking you to upgrade your plan to a paid plan. Although we provide technical support exclusively through email, our dedicated support team is available around the clock and responds swiftly to customers' requests. Pros

The monthly fee option was the most appealing as opposed to commission based.

Cons

I would echo the other reviews here who found the support staff condescending. I sent several emails and wasted hours trying to get a phone call with support or sales to iron out some issues and questions to no avail. They prefer to waste time by email instead when a quick phone call would suffice. Bookeo also do not do live one to one demos like most providers and refused all attempts at a phone call to find resolution. A terrible performer. There are better alternatives available

Hello, Bookeo differentiates itself from other platforms by offering several online Live Demos with pre-loaded sample data, all accessible directly on our website. We also offer a system for a low, flat monthly fee. Additionally, we offer a complimentary 30-day trial (no credit card required). In comparison, most of our competitors - that usually charge a % fee on bookings - do not provide free trials or self-service live demos, which limits businesses' opportunities to engage with the system directly. They typically rely on live demonstrations that are often followed by contracts, which restrict businesses from independently assessing their systems. We offer Sales calls if customers have general questions about Bookeo. It appeared that you had very specific and technical questions, therefore we asked you to send your questions by email.
