We've been pleased with the ease of use and level of service so far. Pros It's a good value and easy to set up and use. No payroll fees so we can pay our employee weekly. Easy to to select the level of service needed, good documentation, and easy to reach and good tech support. Cons It was a little confusing to set up in the middle of a tax period, and we had to call so that money we had already deposited with federal and state agencies wouldn't be double charged and double remitted. We've only used it for 3 months so far, so we will see how easy it is to export information from reports into our accounting program. I recommend it for everyone, the price is amazing, the support is incredible, and the software is really easy to use and has step-by-step guides. Pros I like how easy it is to use. I'm not an accountant, but it prepares everything for me, tracks everything, is super easy to work in, and support is great, even for stupid questions :) Cons I haven't been able to find a report to track cash flow yet, but that may be on me. I really want to be able to see a running flow of in's and out's, but I just haven't found it yet. I may need to contact support, I just haven't yet. It's not the cheapest, but they are very competitive and way easier to use than the other provider I was using. Pros I chose Patriot because I was frustrated with my previous vendor and they looked affordable and seemed reasonable. I have been greatly impressed with them since signing on -- their customer support is top notch: super responsive, the FAQs are very helpful, even their chatbot is worth using. I like the modern easy to use interface, and the fact that even the more niche deductions I need with my S-Corp are covered cleanly by the software. Cons I have no complaints about Patriot. This is my 2nd year using them, and everything just works. No complaints! I have been with them for about ten years. The platform is very easy to use. I am a very small business. I don't have time to keep up with all the federal and state payroll regulations. Patriot Software does that for me. When I need support, I always get a live agent RIGHT AWAY! I don't have to try and explain my problem to a robot. The price is remarkably low compared to other services I looked at. Pros Very easy to use. When support is needed, I always get a LIVE agent without having to go through several automated responses first. Cons I honestly cant think of a single aspect that I do not like. I didn't like that you couldn't set up recurring salary payments but that has been added recently. For a small non-profit like us it's crucial to keep costs to a minimum. You get a lot of bang for your buck with Patriot. Pros The customer service! The system is fairly easy to use. Entering payroll is very easy, we use the time card feature and that makes it even easier. Cons We pay our own taxes, I wish there were more reports for filling out state tax forms like unemployment and paid family/medical leave.
