Has become default in my area to host events. Helps me also stay in touch with events. Pros Great to use, a bit expensive per ticket. But has become a staple in my area so really happy that it'S an option. The notifications are good. Cons It feels expensive for small shows to use it. Their customer service could care less about the actual client/venue. Pros What I liked most about Eventbrite is their website layout and button styles. September 9, 2024 5.0 I would recommend this, and have it for people who have looked into the same sort of events that I've been looking for. This says a lot, as I keep very busy so staying abreast of local events and happenings is an ever-evolving passion of mine! I cannot yet express my opinion on what it is like as an event coordinator, however speaking with heads of such events (like Rockstar Networking for one) I hear that it's pretty seamless a process to do! People that I talk with seem satisfied with investing time and funds in their business to attract new attendees through Eventbrite. Pros This site looks very clean, whether on mobile or the PC and it runs smoothly in my experience. This is to say that I've yet to face any issues of crashes, bugs, or information that was misleading or inaccurate! As someone who has used Eventbrite for both local hobby-related events and job-hunting, this is a good source to help keep both of those walks of life organized in one location. Cons As the growing need for more broad access to websites for people with certain needs, the fact that it doesn't have its own "Dark mode'' for viewing is something that I highly wish would change. It's becoming more and more common for sites to address this on the web that touches on socializing more, as people tend to spend high numbers of hours in a day, at any given time, looking at the site. It has reduced my dependency of searching the events on web and helped me in keeping a track of what I'm attending at what time I'm planning my overall marketing calendar of the month. Pros Structuring of the events; almost all matketing events that I attend, I keep planning and booking from eventbrite. I even have the app since 2 years. The events are also pin pointed geography wise and there is plethora of online webinars also. Cons Although my preferences are set for marketing events, I do not get ample push notifications. I had used multiple ticketing website features, some ticketing apps, this app was thrust upon me at my job and became such a huge bottleneck. The entire thing felt like scamware. They promised so much engagement and all those promises fell flat. Awful software Pros There were some good features. It would allow us to add things like video and pictures in places that the customer would never look. It ran like the apps in the 90s ran, it was nostalgic for how bad it was. Cons It was the slowest app. It would often lag horribly. It was missing tons of features that many other apps in it's class have. September 24, 2024 5.0 Using Eventbrite for Comic and Toy cons in Ontario has been great! It’s easy to set up events, manage ticket sales, and promote to fans. However, fees can add up, which can be a downside. Pros Eventbrite excels with its user-friendly interface, customizable event pages, various ticketing options, built-in promotion tools, detailed analytics, mobile accessibility, and strong community focus. Cons Eventbrite can have high fees for paid events, which may deter some organizers. Also good to use their free service for papering show, but little marketing advantages means I wouldn't be keen for most of the shows I handle. Pros It's cheap and suitable for very small events. Cons It doesn't give you the large amounts of data that the other bigger ticketing platforms do – which when you work on both capital city and regional tours, is a gigantic flaw. Pros It was super easy to buy my tickets from the website, and when I had an issue with needing to cancel one of the tickets, their customer service was very helpful. If I had to choose one, I would mention when an event is free and someone uses Eventbrite, it doesn't always pull up correctly on my phone. However, this could be my problem. Eventbrite allows me to plan accordingly and keeps me informed when some of my favorite events or experiences are happening!! Pros The ease of being able to find local events and register and buy tickets to local events!! Booking and finding was a breeze! Cons The inability to find out how many tickets are left available for an event. Also, sometimes it would be helpful to see how many people are planning to attend an event. Cons Seems a bit clunky based on how long the website has been exactly the same. Surely they could streamline things a bit more? Often the event organizer reaches out off platform anyway.
