It is definitely one of the event-related resources that I would recommend. Pros I have used EventBrite to register for certain events by an administrator and the process has always been fast, simple, and with little to no complications. I like that there is an option for free events advertising at no cost to the organiser Pros The abulity to get my events advertised easily on a well known and trusted platform. January 23, 2025 2.0 I tried to set up an event in the platform, pop up shop for my LLC, not easy at all, no vetting, no securing transactions, I didn't want that for my customers, when they were trying to buy a ticket. I think transactions should be secured, refunds should be guarantee, they should be vetting for scammers, there were a lot of events in the website that weren't even real. I know because some of those events were from businesses I know personally and when I asked, they weren't aware of those events. I think they should reevaluate their whole platform. They have a good concept but no good operations. Pros Nothing was good about Eventbrite, the only thing I can say is that it was available at the moment, that I needed it. Cons Where to start. Eventbrite has no good customer service department, no refunds, no call backs, no easy way to set up events, no background or vetting vendors or event organizers, anyone can set up and sell tickets in this platform without vetting or any secured links. Pros Eventbrite is a helpful platform for teachers. It was easy to access for professional development opportunities . As a teacher I like how I can search for events by topic or location. Making changes once an event is public is easy. Cons There isn’t much in regards to being able to really customize it for events. You can’t change the theme to better reflect your event. I have used Eventbrite to grow my business and would recommend it to anyone looking to host paid or free events for clients to help with RSVPs, client info, etc. Pros Eventbrite helps get high visibility to events my company is hosting, and makes it easy to keep track of attendees and attendee's contact information. An easy to use tool that does what it says it's going to do. Our attendees were easily able to purchase their tickets in a timely manner and we received payment in a timely manner. Pros Lots of flexibility in Event set up. The ability to do table reservations and promo codes. The ease of use and intuitiveness are really helpful as well. Cons My biggest con would be reporting options with Add-ons. We sold merchandise with our tickets, but the association between tickets and merchandise was tricky. Cons There charges might feel extra if you are doing a good view events although it should be other way around also the customer has to pay additional fee on top of the ticket fees which annoys some customers. Cons Seat map could take some time to load and it's not smooth enough when transitioning from a selected seat to another area with different value or price. I really have no complaints about the software. Pros I like the ease of use. It was very easy to create and publish my event. Whenever I had a question, it was always quickly answered by the customer support team. The price for the top tier account isn't bad when you factor in all the services you get. I like that you can schedule payouts whenever you want versus having to wait until the event is over to collect ticket sales. No complaints. Pros I like the fact that there are a lot of automated processes like reminders, waitlists, etc. It makes a lot of things turnkey and streamlined. Pros Worst, worst worst company to deal with. Have been trying to get account cleared and funds from a completed event paid out. Have been online chatting with different people almost DAILY. Every person is different, every person gives different instructions and each one says to undo what the previous instructions said. They alway direct you to snipboard which instantly disconnects from the chatbox. Absolutely would NOT recommend using this site. Cons Conflicting information. Chatbox online is the only access. The interface of the website never had issues, payment processing for tickets was a breeze, unlike other ticketing sites, and I believe it is a great tool for events local to your area. Pros Eventbrite is such a good tool for searching for events local to my area. It's easy to use, has very little bugs or issues, and has great email blasts that keep you informed about events coming soon. Cons Sometimes the emails could be a little too frequent, but I'd take that over too little communication.
