Pros I find Eventbrite easy to use to post details about my webinars and workshops and since I can list the events for free its a great value for the money. I am notified also by email when someone signs up which is convenient Cons I feel that sometimes my events are not getting the exposure they need as many of them are free to attend and on topics that a lot of people would be interested in. Pros You have a variety of options for tickets. You can offer free tickets, or tickets at cost, or VIP tickets. The type of ticket is only limited to your creativity. Cons Sometimes, when you search for a certain type of event, such as a conference, the options it shows you for conferences are not conferences. The same happens with workshops. July 30, 2025 5.0 It helped us move out of the world of messy spreadsheets and lists by hand. Now check-ins take just seconds, and guests receive their tickets immediately, no confusion, no delays at the gate. Pros I really love how easy it is to create an event, create different ticket types, and check people in. It’s very user friendly and eliminates the back and forth we used to have with phone reservations. Cons The reporting dashboard can feel a bit limiting at times, especially when I want to understand guest trends across many events. I've used the platform for various activities including extra curricular events, virtual guest speaker and much more. Pros For the value for money, customer support, ease of use, email notifications, email, having no bugs and issues, I've never use the student and class management service so I can't speak to it. Warehouse and Training Manager Religious Institutions Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Effective but Not Efficient" July 5, 2025 4.0 I use Eventbrite for ticketing for training events as it helps me to collect data on the student in advance and I like that the emails can be generated and automatically sent out. On the negative side, Eventbrite is a bit clunky. You really have to learn how to set everything up and I end up copying and pasting a lot of data from one area to another. For example, if I want to send out a reminder email a few days in advance of the event I have to copy and paste my information to the email set up. It would be nice to have a checkbox that would allow you to copy this data to an email and then edit the email without having to copy and paste. Another issue is that the navigation of the user interface is not easy. You really have to know the (many) places to go to set up your event. Eventbrite works great but it can be clunky to operate. It is effective but not very efficient. Pros Eventbrite is a good ticketing and event tool. We use it for training classes because it allows for scheduled email reminders and updates for our students. Cons I wish Eventbrite had the option for keeping some things the same or basically having default settings so that you don't have to retype everything. Another need is that I would like to have it where I could automatically send the event description details to the email templates so I didn't have to copy and paste these. Whenever I am free on weekends, I search for events nearby and always find a good one. People too want to register with Eventbrite for their popularity it seems. Pros It's consumer reachability is awesome. I get timely notifications of my upcoming events. I have attended quite a few events because of view ahead schedules received via the email. My kids' school event FUSE is also uploaded here. Cons I haven't come across any shortcomings as such. It does what it is meant to do. Operating this site is no rocket science, good for a person like me, not very tech savvy. It is easy to get lost on a global platform like Eventbrite, and again the payment terms were prohibitive. Pros I liked the status of Eventbrite as a recognised platform for booking events - very much the go-to page. Easy to use and navigate for putting up workshops and events. Cons The payment terms were too long as far as I was concerned. As a small business cash flow was not supported by the delay in payments that were only made five days after the delivery of the event. It's simple and has exposed me to some unique events. Pros Eventbrite is great for discovering new events in an area. It lists all kinds of things that you may not think of otherwise. Leider hat sich der Support sehr verschlechter. Die Stornoregelung und der Kostenersatz von fehlgeschlagenen Transaktionen ist leider sehr schlecht. Kunden mussten teilweise mehr als 10 Monate auf ihr Geld warten und bekamen das auch nur da über Monate viele male Nachgefragt wurde. Pros Wir haben Eventbrite sehr lange benutzt da wir schon seit der Vorgängerversion Kunde waren. Leider wurde Eventbrite dann verkauft... Cons Eventbrite wurde seit dem Verkauf von Jahr zu Jahr schlechter. Als dann auch noch die Kosten zu steigen begannen mussten wir zu einem anderen Anbieter wechseln. April 25, 2026 4.0 I've found Eventbrite to be slick, reliable and a convenient tool for managing our sports events. It’s user friendly which is great when delegating responsibility and does a great job of handling registrations and ticketing making my life easier! Pros Eventbrite is really easy to use and makes setting up and promoting events simple which is good for us as we only run simple soccer camps. I appreciate how you can manage tickets, track attendees, and share your event all in one place. It's a respected platform so customers trust it which is a bonus for us. Cons As with everything when you are a small business fees can add up, especially for paid events, and some customization options are limited. It can also feel a bit basic if you want more control over the event page design which is a nice to have but not necessarily vital for us. Review Source PR Peter R. March 22, 2025 1.0 Frustrating, embarassing for me personally internal to our organization, and pointless. I could never recommend Eventbrite to anyone, and will explore all alternative service providers going forward. Having used them in the past, I felt that the verification questions and issues would be easily dealt with based on past experience. I could not have been more wrong! Pros They offer a proven and reliable tool for the sale of tickets to an event and payment. Cons They are an abysmal customer service organization, impossible to reach and slow to react. Our event closed on March 8th and I am still waiting for verification which is provided by another vendor. They ask for documentation and when we send them the documents on file with the Government, they refuse to accept them, even though they are on file with other financial institutions. What makes it so much harder to understand is that we have used them three times in the past four years and received payout without issue. Its not like we are an unkown to them! They are now obstructing access to our funds and will not provide alternative means of satisfying their requirements. By the way, their chatbot is just an algorithm - if your problem is a standard issue, I'm sure it could be quite expedient for both parties. But if its a verification question, like when their 3rd party verification provider won't accept the documents on file with the gov't and other financial institutions ... you're in real trouble and will quickly learn that no one will help you. I have found it simple to purchase tickets to events, easy to add to my phone wallet, and easy to reach out to event coordinators if needed. Cons What I like least about Eventbrite is that it seems easy for businesses to enter incorrect information without noticing, and that sometimes the event information can be limited. They were small enough that it was easy to manage through eventbrite. We were able to have different pricing on our tickets. I like the sales data provide. We were able to see where customers lived gender age and when peak time.for ticket sales was allowing us to adjust prices for those leak times offering discounts. Pros Able to sell tickets at varied prices and cross promote events on social media. Having the option to pay for advertising to event brite customers. Cons All the fees day of the event ticket sales were a challenge as they don't offer a physical payment system. We could only accept cash. Did both event tickets and had some refunds, all went well. Check ins went good too. Pros Pretty quick and straight forward, easy to setup. Lots of people are confident with spending money on tickets via this site, so there was no issue of "fake" or "scam" Cons There should be a fee tier system for the site since some events are small and some are large. Easy to set up and communicate events and changes. You can also create a cost to tickets which is useful too. Pros Eventbrite has got a lot better recently. I also quite like some of the UI improvements, particularly the design when using it on a mobile phone or mobile browser. You can load your tickets easily and quickly. Cons With other providers, any lag or delay with loading tickets to events is extremely annoying. I have been using them for years now, with multiple events every year. Pros What I like most about Eventbrite is: for what we use it for, it is free, so easy to set up and publish, and it integrates with our systems so I am not having to go back and forth to check on RSVPs. Cons What I like least about Eventbrite is sometimes it doesn't completely connect to our other systems so I am left inputting info manually.
