It's simple and has exposed me to some unique events. Pros Eventbrite is great for discovering new events in an area. It lists all kinds of things that you may not think of otherwise. Cons Sometimes it's hard to filter out which events you are really interested in versus ones you're less interested in. The software has eased events management from hosting to ticket management. Although we have not fully integrate the software with our other systems, integration capabilities of the product are amazing. Pros I like customer services of the product, they are awesome due to their timely response and professionalism. The software is also super easy to set up. The other thing that i like about the software is its seamless ticketing processes events planning. Cons I have not experienced downsides when using Eventbrite. The software has served its purpose. I highly recommend it. It's as scalable as you need it to be, but very user friendly for both hosts and patrons. Pros Event set up is very easy, even for smaller promotions and organizations. It has easy to use templates to help market the event effectively. We were able to notify and market to our followers to build awareness to them and to groups beyond. Cons After learning the basics, it's always a good idea for your admin to dig into the details of the finer points in the preferences. They were small enough that it was easy to manage through eventbrite. We were able to have different pricing on our tickets. I like the sales data provide. We were able to see where customers lived gender age and when peak time.for ticket sales was allowing us to adjust prices for those leak times offering discounts. Pros Able to sell tickets at varied prices and cross promote events on social media. Having the option to pay for advertising to event brite customers. Cons All the fees day of the event ticket sales were a challenge as they don't offer a physical payment system. We could only accept cash. It’s super easy to use and you can do both free or paid events tickets Cons When a customer is buying a ticket, at the end, after he is done paying there is an extra screen to fill with the phone number, and sometimes people miss this screen and they think they were done with the order. Easy to set up and communicate events and changes. You can also create a cost to tickets which is useful too. Pros Eventbrite has got a lot better recently. I also quite like some of the UI improvements, particularly the design when using it on a mobile phone or mobile browser. You can load your tickets easily and quickly. Cons With other providers, any lag or delay with loading tickets to events is extremely annoying. January 23, 2025 2.0 I tried to set up an event in the platform, pop up shop for my LLC, not easy at all, no vetting, no securing transactions, I didn't want that for my customers, when they were trying to buy a ticket. I think transactions should be secured, refunds should be guarantee, they should be vetting for scammers, there were a lot of events in the website that weren't even real. I know because some of those events were from businesses I know personally and when I asked, they weren't aware of those events. I think they should reevaluate their whole platform. They have a good concept but no good operations. Pros Nothing was good about Eventbrite, the only thing I can say is that it was available at the moment, that I needed it. Cons Where to start. Eventbrite has no good customer service department, no refunds, no call backs, no easy way to set up events, no background or vetting vendors or event organizers, anyone can set up and sell tickets in this platform without vetting or any secured links. The instructions were pretty clear and the set up was easy for payments, etc. It gave in depth reports on income and what not. Bei seltener Nutzung dauert die Event-Erstellung entsprechend länger. Pros Events lassen sich einfach und rasch erstellen und pflegen. Man hat jederzeit die Übersicht und die Suchfunktion pro Event (wer hat sich angemeldet) funktioniert tipp topp. Die Exportfunktion von Teilnehmerlisten in Excel schätze ich sehr, auch die Verwaltung der Abonnentenlisten. Cons Eventbrite hat in den vergangenen Jahren immer wieder Features geändert, angepasst und teilweise durch andere ersetzt - nicht immer zum Vorteil der Nutzer (für meine Nutzung). Doch in der letzten Zeit habe ich extreme Probleme mit dem Versand von Kampagnen, diese kommen nicht mehr an und Evenbrite bietet keinen Support - die Hilfe-Seiten helfen hier nicht weiter und der Support gab mir eine Antwort auf eine schriftliche Anfrage, die man nicht als "hilfreich" bewerten konnte, sie war schlicht nutzlos. Another perk of Evenrbrite is that it does help with SEO! Many of our early attendees found us through Google (because of the Eventbrite) or through Eventbrite itself. Pros Eventbrite is a great tool for event tickets if your organization does not have a website! I have used Eventbrite to help build a community-driven business centered around events. It's been a great software to help make attendee communication, registration and tracking easy! Cons It took a few events for us to research how to use Eventbrite properly and get our settings correct. Definitely recommend watching training videos and learning the platform vs learning by trial! Have been online chatting with different people almost DAILY. Every person is different, every person gives different instructions and each one says to undo what the previous instructions said. They alway direct you to snipboard which instantly disconnects from the chatbox. Absolutely would NOT recommend using this site. Cons Conflicting information. Chatbox online is the only access. Cons Since this is a software you're using to setup your event, rather than a more custom solution, there are limitations to how much input you have into the design of the landing page you can create for the event.
