Pros

Easy to use, user interface is clean and friendly. Allow one license to screen all your VM guest within a host, so you don't need additional licenses for individual guests.

Cons

Sometimes so functional is very limit and not supporting monitor for different vendors, make it difficult to monitor status for different vendor / products.

Pros

It is so easy to configure and use, though it can be daunting if you get too deep, too quickly. But the documentation and support will always come to your rescue quickly.

Cons

Looking forward to more improvements in Dashboarding and Reporting. Would really like to see a report or feature around asset management.

We moved from Zenoss over to a cloud-based Logic Monitor and could not be happier with our choice. We have had some issues but the support from LM has been great and have worked with use through all of them. We also replaced Pingdom with moving over to Logic Monitor to monitor our websites.

Pros

Cloud based solution that uses internal collectors so you can have several so if one goes down the others will pick up that collector should be monitoring

Have not found any yet.

logic monitor is a good detector for failed or going to fail devices. This is very helpful on us engineers so that we can prevent a disaster from happening.

Not suitable for new users. Need to familiarize with the reports that are appearing

LogicMonitor as a product has been very instrumental in improvements in our operations team and has ultimately resulted in considerably better service. LogicMonitor as a company has been a delight to work with. They are excellent at innovation in their sector and are paving the way to finely tuned and monitored IT infrastructure for their customers.

Discover all active network interfaces Monitor throughput, discards, errors Track BGP sessions and OSPF adjacencies Watch power usage across POE states Track flow via NetFlow, Jflow, and sFlow Monitor chassis CPU cores, memory pools, temperatures & fans

Cons

Automatically collect actionable performance data from all of your networking gear which I didn't like.

We are a 10-person MSP and we depend on LogicMonitor to deliver useful information about our customers' network equipment. It delivers capability that our RMM tool doesn't offer. The most impressive thing about LogicMonitor is how useful it is out-of-the-box. Administrators get very useful information from preconfigured monitors and alerts without any customization. This is in contrast to many other monitoring systems that are easy to install but require hours of customization and maintenance to deliver anything useful. The LogicMonitor support team is also excellent and easy to reach. This is a great group of folks.

You sometimes find a company that has a great product, and you sometimes find a company that has great support. Rarely do you ever find a company that has both. Very simple to setup and use, very easy to maintain, and did I mention the support! Have a question, using the online chat, support is literally 30 seconds away. The community forums are great and Logic Monitor actually listens to the customers and very often implements recommended improvements. Great product, Great company. You will not be disappointed.

Pros

Using this tool for network monitoring. Informative dashboard, lots of metrics, easy to track utilization. Good technical support. Very easy to install and use. Cloud service is a big plus too

Cons

I would like to have more different reports. The ones they have look more standard, not so much customized

I was disappointed to find that there was no feature for being able to upload monitor configurations for our 35+ sites. While I can replicate (clone) one and modify, that is still a lot of mouse clicks. The same goes for adding Scheduled Down Times for servers modifying each one is time-consuming and error-prone. It would be better if I could select a number of servers and create one SDT for them all.

The best thing about this tool is surely the data visualization which you can show to the users after the modification. Additionally, it has great customization options and enables you to customize everything from calls to tickets and emails. Overall, very satisfied with the product.
