Owner Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Easy Storage Solutions Nice and Easy" July 29, 2019 5.0 The main benefits is it takes care of all the day to day and month end paperwork automatically. and is able to not only send paperwork by mail but also txt messages and email. Pros It automates running the storage business. Has a lot of automated features that take care of the day to day running of the site. Cons It can be a little difficult to get around on menu wise. some times it just blanks out and i have to restart. Also there needs to be some confirmation pages to check the information while doing a rental before submit al. Reason for choosing Easy Storage Solutions The customer service. The salesman I spoke with was nice and courteous offered a lot of useful information. During the Setup process everything went smooth. It was easy to switch everything over from our previous software company and the staff was incredibly helpful. One of our biggest setbacks with the previous software system was their customer service. The customer service with Easy Storage Solutions is phenomenal. We've worked very closely with the representative she always gets back to us as soon as she can- which normally is within a few minutes. Easy to set up customer accounts; customers have access to online accounts. Ability to archive past customers. Cons I don't like that if an ACH deposit gets returned for insufficient funds - the 3rd party processor doesn't automatically contact you and it's not retroactive on the customer account. Mobile device access and online bill pay. No system glitches. Good price. We switched from a larger, cloud based program and are very happy with what Easy Storage Solutions has provided! Cons Easy Storage Solutions keeps things pretty simple and as such, we sacrificed a few bells and whistles in making this switch. Pros Customer service: It's always there when I'm not sure how to do something or need help Look: The software looks so much better now that they updated it Charts: It has charts, lists, and forms for almost anything I could possibly want Website: Super easy-to-use way to edit our website. And when I do have questions, they're always nice about helping! Cons A few have the updates have made a couple things work strangely (extra late fee's where they aren't supposed to be) but I've called and they've immediately gotten to work on fixing whatever happened. I love the reminder texts that can be chosen as sometimes I don't look at my email as much as I check my texts. Cons We sometimes have tenants that want to expand their space into a recently vacant neighboring space and that means changing the square footage, etc. (basically making a brand new suite). I admit there was anxiety about loading everything, but they made it SO MUCH EASIER than I expected. I figured the site map and unit layout would be difficult, but it went so much better than anticipated. The setup folks pretty much took care of all the heavy lifting and I just had to assign the customers to the units. Pros We went from mailed in payments and manual contract writing to this software and it was a game changer. My time spent with paperwork and checks has decreased a great deal and continues to get better as more tenants enroll in the online program. The ability for customers to go online and rent and see what is available is great. I highly encourage this program. I love how much easier it has made things for us. Cons Nothing to add here. Coustomet support is there if you have questions,or problems. It is easy to get up and running with. It isn't not required for customers to make a profile. Easy for customers to rent from on-line Access. Cons Once you get use to using it your realize how limited it is. There isn't any way to customize it when changes happen. Expamle: gate codes can only be issued if a unit is rented. Software has to control gate software and your not allowed access to gate software that you purchased to allow entry via custom gate codes. The support staff is excellent and always willing to help and listen to any ideas or suggestions about possible improvements. Cons Honestly, nothing.
