Pros I like the fact that once the initial setup is complete, there is very little time required from me on a day-to-day basis. The color-coded facility grid provides a nice visual for potential customers, and there are so many options prompted during set-up which was helpful for me, a first-time small storage facility owner. The price is fair for the service provided, and this company has a fantastic team of support staff. I have worn them out with questions during the start-up phase (newbie to the industry). Cons There were a few confusing things during start-up- something regarding photos of our facility versus stock photos showing up on the website... I had not thought to go into an additional template to remove stock photos, and other minor template things I had trouble navigating, but the customer service staff walked me through how to adjust settings. As of the last few months I feel like something has changed or they have been bought out and the customer service has went down due to new restrictions in place. Pros Software is decent and works for the most part for my needs. Cons I have had issues with several things in the past few months with bad customer experience with the represenatitives. " June 6, 2023 5.0 Overall, moving away from SiteLink and onto Easy Storage has help use keep better track of all our operations better than ever before. This software has paid for itself just by being easy to use from any device anywhere you might be located (onsite, on the road, or even at home or after hours!), and it's helped us increase our unit occupancy simply by being so flexible. Pros What I like most about it is the ease of use, the incredible flexibility and functionality, and the fact that it's all cloud-based instead of local on your PC. It has NEVER gone down once since we've been using it in over 2 years, and the support is just fantastic...not that you'll need it much, since it's so darn easy to use and manage! Cons Their monthly pricing is a bit/lot higher than it should be, and the fact that you cannot select or manage your credit card provider means that you don't even have the option to shop around for the best deal in processing rates. This part is almost a deal-killer for me, because I just HATE over paying for credit card processing and the lack of being able to control what company I choose to use. Reason for choosing Easy Storage Solutions Easy Storage had all the bells and whistles and was just much better overall. Nothing else was even close to the same level of functionality or ease of use. Switched from [SiteLink Web Edition](https://www.capterra.com/p/92752/SiteLink-Web-Edition/) SOOO many reasons! SiteLink has to be installed on a single PC that stores everything, and the mobile/cloud version is complete garbage! It's hard to use, hard to learn, and looks like something from the early 90's. We are glad we made the choice to partner with ESS. Pros We like all the aspects of the system and the way ESS keeps adding great features. Cons It does not have a way to use your own email based off of the web site they provide for you. Our website is TCGstorage.com It would add to the pro level of the site if we could have "myname@tcgstorage.com" or "manager@tcgstorage.com" etc. with forwarding also. Also ESS is constantly improving, taking advice from their customers. Pros The thing that I like most about Easy Storage Solutions is the layout of the software is fairly easy to read, legible. Also, I like to the customer service is team is knowledgeable. They are there to help solve problems. Cons The least thing that I like about Easy Storage Solutions is that their customer service is only available Monday-Friday: 8:00 - 5:00 MST Saturday: Closed Sunday: Closed. I'm located in California. Also, something else I dislike is when making notes under individual notes, you have to make sure to click on create note or it they do not save, and notes can be deleted, once saved,(forever) by anyone. Pros This software is so easy to use, very user friendly and logical. I had to enter all my customers into the software because I was unable to get a spreadsheet of my customers from my current software. After that the integration was very easy. We were up and running in just a few days. I love that the customer profile has all the info you need for each customer including billing and history. I love that customers can book and pay online and that we now have a website for our business. Customer service is top notch! Cons I don't see any negatives at this point. There was no ability for customers to book or pay online and no website for my business. Also the cost was very high as they charge for use of the product and technical support separately. The ease at which customers can reserve units online, make their own payment changes within their port, and schedule their own move outs decreases the amount of staff time needed to address these things. Since switching to Easy Storage Solutions, our monthly delinquency has decreased to almost zero because the onsite manager is able to manage past due accounts with ease from the dashboard. After the initial set up, it takes me very little time to keep track of our customers, issue statements, and record payments. Cons I use Quick Books to manage the financial side of our business, and it would be really great if somehow it had the capabilities to do what Quick Books does all in one location (keep track of our business bills, and etc. for tax purposes). Pros The ease of use and finding customers in database Cons Editing new rentals, if I make a mistake I have to move customer out then start over with new rental. I should be able to move Prorating options when renting. We use the 3rd option and my part time help can't seem to remember to use third option on drop down. When the software can't do something-they try to figure out an alternative way to solve the problem until it can (like the Spanish translation). The customer service is amazing. I care about my tenants ease of payment and use of the website. I answer all my own tenant calls 7 days a week because I care about their experience. I have called an emailed Easy Storage Solutions many, many times as I am using the software and they always respond either immediately or within a few hours with a solution. I have only experienced considerate, professional customer service. I have never had a customer service person act annoyed to help me or make me feel foolish for asking a question about using the software. Pros The software feels very intuitive. I like that I can find a solution to a problem quickly in a few different ways. I can search a customer by name, or unit. I can run a variety of reports to find information I need instantly. I love the notifications for each customer. I use that often to see what emails, notices, receipts were sent and I use the custom template feature to create my own notices. It's great to be able to print those letters in pdf and mail to tenants that may have missed my emails. Cons The only problems I have found is that to send a custom template to a customer I need to go off their page to create it first and then go back to their page to choose letters and find that template. I usually just open to tabs with my website but it would be easier to create emails/letters specific to a customer on their customer profile page. My second problem is that the payment section is not available in Spanish yet. The customer service team put in a translater and created a Spanish page for me so we are very close to my goal of offering this to my tenants, but it will be great if the software could have a full Spanish option in the future. I love the fact that it is online and I access from anyone of our storage locations. And the fact that customers can rent, pay for units, etc. on their own has been very helpful. Cons I wish there was a way to set up past due timelines for individual customers so that if I do not want to put certain customer in Prelien status after 60 days, the system will not automatically place them in that status. Making changes to information is simple, and while we don't use all the functionality, none of the tools we don't use get in the way of using the ones we do use. The support is also fantastic - rarely does it take more than a single 15 minute call or quick email to have our issues resolved. Cons I could use a more customizable reporting format instead of using the predefined reports. We often have to merge the data from a couple reports into a single report to create the picture we need, but don't expect they could build reports for every business format, so a simple data export tool that allows user selection would save us a little time.
