We love this software. It is so easy for everyone in the office and executive board members to view and ask questions. We are easily able to navigate and write thank yous, updates, and tax information for everyone.

Pros

This software is so easy to use and track all we need. Importing information was a breeze and customer support is always available. It is so user friendly for tracking donations, donors, volunteers, and more! Communications are amazing and always easy and pretty!

Cons

It is a little difficult to navigate the recurring giving for pledges if they want to use a card. Sometimes it takes some trial and error to get mail templates just right.

Cons

### "Can't say enough Good about Network for Good!"

We have been able to fine tune our donor base and communicate with donors we thought we had lost. In addition, the built in communication tracking is wonderful. We can see who opens what, when, and what they click on.

Pros

What's not to like? Customer service is one of the best in any CRM/Donor management I've ever used. The product has a ton of features and ability to communication through video, text, email, and direct mail.

Cons

I would like the query feature to format into a "report" look. I have to take the queries and then format them before sharing with teams. Folks like a report to look like a report rather than excel sheet. Also would like to be able to do more with households.

Pros

The most impactful use of this software comes from the integration and synchronization of this software with our financial management system, Quickbooks Advance Online by Intuit. The software is efficient for accuracy in transferring financial data, timeliness of donation management and for sending email blasts (Fundraising Campaigns and Corporate Newsletter )to our clients. The tracking metrics for clients from the email blast are outstanding- delivery and opening (%) dates and time along with re-sending capabilities.The acquisition process with \[sensitive content hidden\], was very supportive to our specific needs. The customer support since the acquisition has been excellent an easily obtainable. The " onboarding" webinars were very enlightening, hands-on and time well spent.We love our Donor Management System. Thanks to you, Network for Good for such a dynamic and economical product.Debra A. Our experience has been completely positive. When concerns did arise, they were resolved expertly and expeditiously.

### "Falling in love with NFG"

I just love how I can rely on a system that helps me connect with my donors, making so much of my work easier and giving me time to focus on what I need to.

Pros

the integration of so many features that allows you to connect several services in one place. I'm using less and less other services for contacting donors, events, donations, and using just the Network for Good donation management system. I also like the customer service available. It's great to have a team helping you through all the craziness of fundraising. I also like how NFG is constantly incorporating new technology in their system.

Cons

I wish some features would give me more customization options. Like, donation pages, forms, ​and direct mail, but I can perfectly work with all the available features.

### "Support and resolution of simple problem a disaster "

Salsa Labs is providing the web services for donations for Wreaths Across America - Houston. This organization provides a live Maine wreath at the graves in the Houston National Cemetery at Christmas, and a portion of the money raised by non-profits is retained by those groups. SInce 15 October my Kiwanis club has asked Salsa Labs to resolve problems of login, logins which revert to the program last year, logins which say we have no fundraiser to manage, etc. Over one MONTH later there is absolutely no resolution and soon we will have no more time left to raise funds for this very worthwhile project. Sadly because of inaction by Salsa many of the graves in the cemetery of our military heroes will have no wreath. Salsa Labs has been totally irresponsible on this project and I can only hope at this point they offer some restitution to the Wreaths organization. I personally would not recommend Salsa Labs for anything.

Pros

When it worked it was ok and notified users of donations.

Cons

Can't log in and manage current year. No resolution of simple login problems.

Donations and keeping our donor pool happy!

Pros

Network for good provides great value for the money. We are able to label our donors by their geography so we can reach out to them via email blasts with information related to them. We love the new ability to video to our donors and use this a lot to thank our donors for their donations.

Cons

Would like for the templates to not be pre-populated. Blank templates for email blasts would be great!

Pros

I like how streamlined it is, that all the functionality is connected and included in the price as opposed to using several third party providers of email or auction services that may or may not be included in the cost. I also love the look of the emails and pages I create through Network for Good; they are modern and eye-catching. Another provider we were considering was similarly integrated and easy to use, but the pages and communications looked dated.

Cons

The only con I've found so far is that the software is slow to load when I'm first logging in. Once I'm in, everything functions well, not slow at all, even when I'm importing data.

Excellent customers service, resources, communication, and ease of use.

Pros

I love the dashboard features that give you a quick glance across the board, ease of targeting list members, and the new event functions. Running our events through Salsa has made a huge fundraising difference for us.

Cons

I realize these are small things, but for our organization, would be tremendously helpful -- the ability to embed RSS feeds and videos into email would make this an ideal tool.

It has been very satisfying. Customer care is always really good and helpful. I rarely feel frustrated and really tell many of our counterparts about how they should try NFG.

Pros

It is easy to use and intuitive. It is straightforward. And, there are tons of articles on how to do most anything.

Cons

I wish that that contact number range for price tiers was larger. I would like to be able to put in potential donors without having to worry about going into the next tier too soon.

Pros

I love having all of my databases in one place, being able to track online donations and send out thank you's so easily. The donation entry is also very easy for donations that are not made online. I like being about to sort out the database and also send out newsletters and other communications so easily.

Cons

The database conversion was a little clunky. I also think some of the fundraising page software buttons could be improved so that you don't accidentally move on without saving your changes.

Pros

Overwhelmingly positive. If you're a development director, at least consider looking into this software. It has made my job so much easier. I am not someone who gushes for companies or products often, but this has made my life/job SO much easier, I am NFG's newest and biggest microphone. 10/10 would recommend

Pros

The simplicity. Anyone who is reading this who is thinking of getting out of eTapestry or something because of how ludicrously non-intuitive it is, this is your software. I love how straight forward and user friendly it is. Everything just makes sense and is so easy to use.

Cons

I honestly don't really any glaring con, at least yet. It took me a second to figure out the texting aspect but doing a quick webinar with them explained everything. Every small issue I've had was easily explained by their help desk or webinars or whatever. Very easy to get help, unlike past platforms we've been on

Reason for choosing Bonterra Network for Good

We looked at a bunch of platforms, I don't even remember which one. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], a rep for NFG, reached out to me. Maybe she's just a good sales woman but something looked different about this platform. Nothing was too pushy or salesy and everything was so user friendly, from the emails to the website to the sales process.

### "Support team Rocks ! "

My experience is great, once I was lost but now I am finding my way with the support team. I am on NWG everyday and sending personal notes to patrons, business sponsors and connecting with past patrons to learn more about our business and how I can take their point of view to make changes to improve.

Pros

I am new to the Network for Good CRM system, I use it a my primary tool to keep track of my patrons, I use it to email, text, mail or call my patrons who can make an impact on a major fundraising event and track lost patrons.

Cons

Setting up queries for identifying patrons in a group has proven difficult on my own. The support group/team has been outstanding in answering questions or helping me create a new search.

The team that trained us was very thorough and did not talk over our heads. Walked us thru things slowly and was very receptive to all questions.

Pros

It’s ease of use, it’s ability to customize per the organizations needs and the ability to segregate and target high donors.

Cons

I would like it to submit our donations twice a month for cash flow ease. I would also like if it automatically sent a thank you when a donation is entered rather than having to go in and generate a thank you by hand.

Pros

Ease of use. Well organized. Competively maintained.

Cons

There is always something that needs to be improved. My sense is that NFG is committed to staying ahead of the curve with this issue. Would love to have a more streamlined process to track couples with different last names. Users with different email addresses can be an issue. And in NYC, tracking households by mailing address in white glove buildings where Apt numbers are often not used can be problematic

I wanted a simple software that could at a glance let me know where we are financially and that had an easy communication tool. NFG has that and my team all love it.

Pros

We picked Network For Good because of the free video and text options for communicating with our donors. It was a simple and easy product to use and learn. And for the price!

Cons

One thing that I wish was different about the software, is that I wish there was more flexibility in the design area of the fundraiser pages and the email design. I am a person who loves fonts and graphics and moving things around. And the pages and emails are simple to create but with that you loose some customization ability.

Their customer service is top notch and I quite like their email marketing tools for donors.

The fundraising reports could be improved. They are very basic-level reporting tools. I wish they had more third-party integrations.

Excellent overall experience. I feel like this platform saves me A LOT of time so I can focus on quality engagement with our donors. I am very impressed with the staff at Network for Good. They are friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and quick to respond. It truly feels like the care about our success!

Pros

Network for Good allowed us to combine multiple databases into one system. Instead of having a database to track donors, another one to handle donations on our website, and another one for communication, this platform consolidated all those uses so creates a better organized and easy to use system with more rigorous tracking. The help support is fantastic too! The multiple methods for engaging donors (video, text, email, direct mail, etc) are great, too.

Cons

The software is extremely well designed and easy to use. I don't have any suggestions to improve.

So far it has been great. I'm getting the data in a much more accurate format and feel supported in the process.

Pros

I love Bonterra's simplicity and capability.

Cons

So far, the only real challenge is the cost. Salesforce, which we switched from, had a one time fee and then it was free every year after.
