I've been using it since last year and it is a tool that it worths the time to invest and learn. Pros Data analysis and dashboard because since I learned the six sigma method it helped me a lot to see the same data from different perspectives. Cons That im not an expert and I would like to become better using this tool. Even with basic knowledge is very helpul, I imagine being an expert all the possibilities. Cons Before they used to allow shared license. But they have stopped doing this. It’s the time that decides your decision. For me that’s a wrong decision for small & medium companies. Excel has the same capabilities with super cheap and available for all the companies. Some companies did not see the value or ROI in the cost of using Minitab Pros Has most any data analytics that one might need. Many of the common tools of SPC and control charts are easy to use. Cons Better user training. Some functions need easier steps to get to the solution. Setting up and importing data is fairly simple but from there to picking the right toll is a little more complicated. Pros 6 pack capability analysis and GR&R like most. They are easy to navigate and getting lot of information. Cons Complex to navigate if you don't know how to use it. For example, determining the charts labels in a bar chart, the ability to generate histograms from contingency table data to name a few. Pros I like the mini tab solution center option. I had no idea about it until this Webinar so we will be taking full advantage of it. Cons It was hard to learn and grasp as a first time User. I think once I got the hang of it, it become like second nature. But the initial learning curve is rough. I like how easy it is to use, even if you're not an expert in statistics. The graphs and results are super visual, which makes it easier to explain findings to others. Changes in Minitab software and or changes in licensing occurred during project. Pros The general awareness of Minitab capabilities (solution center). Licensing is difficult but maybe on our side. Cons Interpreting the results. Statical training for me was greater than 6 months before project start. I actually used non-Minitab AI to help me interpret the results for me and then included summaries in my final report.
