### "Robust ATS system but could implement better reporting"

The overall experience has been great we've had Jobvite for close to a year now and the change has been positive.

Pros

We moved to Jobvite from Taleo and the processes have been improved immensely with more automation and efficiency.

Cons

The reporting feature is quite lacking and could have more customization and query abilities.

### "Regular outages and glitches"

Pros

It's better than using a spreadsheet to manage your applicants.

Cons

The site goes experiences outages roughly once a month (outside of their scheduled maintenance). I have to open tickets with their support staff weekly, due to glitches in the system. Oftentimes, I have to find my own workaround because their response time is poor or my issues get ignored. We chose an off-the-shelf ATS, because we thought we would save time and money. It really is costing me a lot of time with constant support tickets and workarounds. For the amount that we pay, we are better off building one in-house or contracting it out.

Cons

The initial learning curve was a little longer that anticipated.

Cons

none that I can think of, id love to have advanced scheduling abilities added so that candidates can self book and text message abilities too

We are tracking applicants from application to hiring, communicating and engaging applicants throughout the process. It is a great way to create a electronic trail of contacts and information that go out to applicants. It has been very a great tool to help us increase our applicant satisfaction.

Pros

It is a great applicant tracking system with good functionality

Cons

Report options are difficult to navigate and do not provide the options I need to get specific information. This could be the way my company has it set up, but even my corporate Jobvite person cannot seem to get the reports I need.

It has helped our HR team manage the employee referral program.

Pros

We use Jobvite internally for job postings and for referring people to HR. I love how I can easily share job postings across all my social network like Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin. I can even send the link to the job posting through a private message. Jobvite tracks who referred the applicant so HR can easily manage Employee Referral Programs.

Cons

No problems with features as it satisfies the needs of the referral program but it would be great if the interface can be refreshed to make it more lean and modern.

Jobvite is an excellent way to organize everything about your recruitment campaign and allow you to be able to always access it from any computer at any time. It is easy to learn and use and the support is Excellent! The way you can run recruitment can mirror a similar marketing campaign.

Pros

Organization, immediate response, fits your needs, everything in one place (shows multiple applicants over time)

Cons

Could use a more customizable dashboard but I hear they are working on it.

I am typically able to get in, find what I need, and get out in a reasonable amount of time. I like the layout and options available to us and am impressed with the amount of information captured in this tool. I've not seen a better option yet!

Pros

The layout and options are fairly straightforward and allow users to navigate to most all information they need with little distraction.

Cons

There are \*so\* many features that it is sometimes easy to get lost in the maze of options and locations available as you try to sift through the listings and candidates when generically perusing the site (rather than navigating specific to your own listings/candidates, which is very intuitive and well organized).

I don't like that there's 6+ steps in order for me to "hire" someone on this site and there's multiple users that need to be involved.

Pros

It is easy to use and to navigate. Jobvite helps focus on communication with hiring managers and candidates/

Cons

The notifications are limited when you get further in the workflow. Also, out of office messages cannot be sent.

Overall: positive.

Pros

As a freelance copywriter, I often find some jobs I apply to that use Jobvite as their application software. Once you set up your profile, contact details and resume / work history, Jobvite stores this for future applications. I believe Jobvite also has a feature for scheduling interviews and an ability to contact and message the recruiter posting the job ad.

Cons

As a user who went to the trouble of setting up my own profile, there isn't too much wrong with this software once you've taken those steps. Fairly simple to use as a user applying to jobs on the Jobvite network.

### "Good ATS, My Only ATS"

This is my first recruiting gig, so I haven't used another ATS before, but overall I like Jobvite. For my day to day activities it is easy to navigate!

Pros

I like the vast numbers of reports that I can run and how much of it is customizable

Cons

Navigating to make adjustments to email templates isn't always intuitive. I also don't like that you can only assign one candidate e-mail template to each "interview type." In an ideal world I'd like to have the ability to select a variety of templates when confirming candidate interviews - like we can for general messages.

I have to train people to use jobvite so it would be great if it was a bit easier to pick up.

Pros

Once you get the hang of it the software is pretty good, but it takes awhile to get used to.

not great. good architecture for a ATS, but the functionality does not follow through.

Pros

I get what you were trying to do. Integrating with LinkedIn was a good idea. Syncing with Google calendars was a good idea.

Cons

The previously mentioned functions do not work. When you open a ticket with customer service, nothing happens. buggy and slow. formatting on resumes coming in gets all messed up. Mobile app is not a mobile app.

Pros

Jobvite nowadays has become a popular ATS when it comes to Recruitment or Applicant Tracking to Employee Database. Jobvite provides All In One tool from Recruitement to Sourcing to Tracking.

Cons

As an ATS it can do a better job at Applicant Tracking. The pool is good but need regular updation in order to make it useful.

I like how easily Jobvite makes it interact with candidates. Keeping all messages in order all in one place is the genius. I think that user interface on recruiting end needs some help. Shifting from tab to tab often takes a long time to populate. Also, the taskbar should allow us to make additional notes to it- for example, the person to whom the task is assigned should be able to leave a small note stating " waiting for availability" or " waiting on interviewers approval" or whatever else they may need to note.

I do not like jobvite. I use it for job tracking and reporting and it is very cumbersome to use and provides no ability to organize things in a dashboard format.

Pros

There is decent customization options for creating reports.

Cons

Dashboard functionality is almost non-existent. I have added performance issues running reports. Reports are difficult to create from the sources available to get what you need.

Have been using Jobvite for about a year and it was easy to learn and customize. Easy to develop templates for prescreen questions for review purposes not "knock out" . Customer service can be questionable at times and may get different answers to solutions depending on who you ask. Little clunky to review candidates and bulk disposition them.

Pros

Nice dashboard that tells you your requisition activity. Easy to use and learn. Very customizable but be careful and work with a JV rep to ensure if you customize your workflow that you can report on the different steps. Easy for candidates to apply and review status of application.

Cons

Reporting function is not easy to customize reports. Have to download in Excel to manipulate data. Can't report on reasons you rejected someone or why someone turn down offer. If looking for comprehensive reports may not be the right tool. Customer service responsiveness can be delayed if issue is more challenging and may get different answers on solutions depending on who you ask. Have had issues posting to LinkedIn and has been a couple weeks since the issue arose and still not fixed.
