February 18, 2025 5.0 Even though it was difficult, the support team was amazing and were very patient with me. \[sensitive content hidden\] was great, offering support anyway he could. He made himself very accessible. I had many zoom meeting with a hands on real time help which was great! Pros It captures all date in one place. The note taking system is easy and the report system, once set up correctly, makes it so easy to pull reports Cons It is a little cumbersome and the learning curve is high but mainly because I had to teach myself, even though many, many training sessions were offered. It was also at the end of Covid so virtual learning made it even worse. Getting everyone's schedule to come together was impossible. I think had I been there at the initial set up it would have been so much easier but it just got dropped in my lap. August 26, 2020 5.0 Comments (Benefits): we were matched with a dedicated support person to guide us through the implementation and he got to learn how our school works. Reasons for Choosing; the modern look and feel and is very easy to use. Pros I'm very happy with Edvance, they were very helpful when we needed to modify the report cards to comply with the Ministry of Education changes due to COVID-19. Their support technicians are very nice, good listeners and are doing an amazing work for us. Earlier this year, they completed a re-enrollment report that allowed me to see completed and in progress forms so I could keep track of our process. Most recently, I was able to finish scheduling courses in one day! If you are looking for a student information system that helps you save time and bring processes online, I highly recommend them. Teacher Education Management Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Edvance is user friendly" February 19, 2025 4.0 Ours is a small facility and this program provides exactly what we need to keep track of student grades and behaviors at a reasonable cost Pros Edvance is user friendly, I am able to enter assignments easily and add students as necessary. Cons I do not like that the weights and categories do not carry over by quarter and that I have to enter them each new quarter. Buffalo Prep Data Intern Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Edvance is Amazing!" October 31, 2019 5.0 The Edvance team has worked incredibly hard to get to know the intricacies of Buffalo Prep and it has made all the difference. They have showed that they support our mission as a non-profit academic enrichment program to help underrepresented youth achieve academic success and have been working with us to implement a customized system that allows for more time spent focusing on the students, and less on entering data. Pros My colleagues at Buffalo Prep work incredibly hard to help the kids in our community... but so much of their energy has been used to try and store data in excel in the past. Now, with Edvance, they are able to focus more on helping students and less on data entry. Buffalo Prep has many intricacies but the Edvance team has been incredibly accommodating and has met our needs as a uniquely operating organization. May 31, 2015 5.0 This is my schools first full year with Edvance and it has begun to transform how we communicate with parents and manage out curriculum. I have worked with several other LMS' and I can tell you that in the past I would have been left feeling frustrated due to lack of support and flexability. However, working with Edvance leaves me feeling excited and confident that the customizations we are building will make communication stronger, processes smoother, and jobs easier. The support of the Edvance team is unlike anything I have ever seen and it has allowed me as an administrator to help people be more efficient. Edvance was our first school software program. This program made life so much easier for our teachers and administrators. We are able to grow each year with this program as they continue to refine and add features. Since we have both elementary and high school programs in both languages, we needed a program that was very flexible. Edvance was able to tailer make their program to meet our needs. The service has been outstanding. The support has be amazing. I felt very comfortable calling, emailing, or having virtual meetings if I needed clarification A wide variety of modules makes it easy to cater to all of our needs One con that is of note is the attendance module.
