Cons My least favorite thing is the layout of the data. The posting is long instead of concise. Reason for choosing ITS Dispatch It is a additional load board not a replacement. Cons I did not understand why my driver was finding loads on her phone app. that I was not able to find on my laptop. I called tech. support and was told the phone app did show more data and there was nothing they could do to provide the same data on the computer. The last few days I have been comparing the two and have found that at times there is about 30% missing on the laptop. This is not acceptable. It is far more time consuming to use the phone and this needs to be fixed. They have not put forth the effort to maintain the system. I need an alternative :( Pros The software is easy to use and implement Cons I’ve been dealing with ITS Dispatch issues with the software for over a year. Each time I ask about the status of the bug I receive a generic response about tier two is working on the problem. Recently ITS Dispatch has had a malware issue that has not been fixed. Currently we can no longer add files to the system. There seems to be some disconnect in what ITS dispatch sales offers and what the system can actually do. CEO Used the software for: ### "This software is very useful" April 22, 2016 5.0 We've been using ITS Dispatch for about 4 years. Its essentially the center of our processes for keeping up with information about our vendor's(carrier's), customer's and driver's information, besides QuickBooks. The ability to upload files to each record is awesome. The only downfall is, you can only get to the file from the record. There is no place where you can manage "all" the files you have saved. The posting feature is pretty cool. However, it should be fully integrated and allow the user to match their posted loads to posted trucks on Internet Truckstop. Although ITS Dispatch Software is not cheap, its affordable and its not as expensive as purchasing a proprietary software. The upfront cost and per user cost for proprietary software is much more expensive. If we had chosen to do so, our payments to ITS to date would still be less than the purchase of a proprietary software and accompanying components upfront. I like ITS for this reason. It operates pretty much just like proprietary software does. There are a couple of features that we would like to enhance, but for the most part its good. It would be nice if we could add comments or notes to "each" rate confirmation. Other things would add to ITS Dispatch are: If our documents could be signed and sent digitally within the system like DocUsign. As the world keeps changing so do the methods. The digital age is not like the old ways of having to print out, sign, scan, save, or fax a document. Its easier and much more convenient for the user to sign the document digitally. Cons: Cant add or make comments or notes on each individual rate confirmation Pros: Easy to use but not necessarily user friendly, ability to save our documents on each record. Pros I can search loads and trucks. The prices they are on the boards for and post loads to the board myself. I couldn't do my job without this software. Cons Sometimes the rates are off on what the loads are currently going for. It's tough for loads out of California during produce season. Other than that they are pretty accurate. Owner Used the software for: ### " limited in the necessary load entry data and very limited in the drivepay options" April 18, 2016 3.0 Pros - Great in collecting data and keeping it one place for historical retrieval. Finding a load using key words is a breeze. Sending load info to driver is a great. Cons - Very limited in driver-pay options and driver-pay deductions. Very limited in settlement statement notes. Can only put notes on individual loads and not on the entire settlement statement. Does not automatically calculate driver pay % that is less than the load pay (ex. load pays $500 but $400 goes to driver at 80%). Does not allow option for salary drivers. Does not allow you to set appointments as a time range. When you enter tracking data and email it from the dispatch board it does not save the tracking data, only when you enter the data in the tracking section is it saved. Review Source RM ROBERT M. After deciding to go with ITS Dispatch the change was dramatic. Our efficiency took a huge jump and it allowed us to manage more loads & customers at the same time which lead directly to an increase in our bottom line. We especially like the tie-in to the ITS load board, the ability to generate professional looking Rate Confirmation & BOL documents that include our business logo; also the compatibility with Quickbooks is a definite plus. From a Broker's standpoint, we wish there was a dynamic Carrier data base that would allow storage & retrieval of previously used carriers based on preferred lane & trailer type. President Used the software for: ### "Best bang for your buck on the market" April 18, 2016 5.0 We have been the user of ITS Dispatch for over 5 years now and feel it provides the most cost effective solution. There are products that are not offered through this TMS, however in an apples to apples comparison ITS Dispatch can hold it's own. As you can imagine all TMS service providers have Pros and Cons, the biggest down fall that I find with ITS Dispatch is the excessive length of time to address request (only can be filed through the website). Used the software for: ### "Absolutely love this product" April 19, 2016 5.0 What I like most about ITS dispatch is the ease of learning the program. Old and young alike can pick it up quickly and go. Like any program, there are things I would change. Such as printing invoices. There are some days when we have 50 invoices to print and you have to select each one individually and that makes printing longer. The really nice thing is that if you have a change you would like to make, the programmers put it on a wish list for future development. I like the ability to save load confirmation sheets and other paper work into files . One thing that bugs me and maybe it is just how it's going to be is that when you view it on the iPad you can not view the column next to the load# I use that for my notes such as I put a truck number there to identify what truck gets what load. I'm waiting for the day when ITS Dispatch and Udrove are working together dispatching loads out could get a lot easier for the drive to get . All and all the system works very well . April 18, 2016 5.0 Likes Best The product was easy to conform to my company including logo and made dispatching much easier than I ever expected. The vendor was okay but sometimes hard to get a hold of. Likes Least Was not happy about the cost and the fact that it was not directly connected so putting loads on it would not directly post those loads on Internet Truckstop. Recommendations Take it one step at a time when checking out this product and do not try and complete all your needs at once, ITS Dispatch can be tailored to suit you but it cannot be done in a day. April 19, 2016 4.0 Pros: Resource on both office and mobile platforms, Rapid refresh rates available, great sorting of fields/columns to maximize search vectors and affordable & easy to use. Cons: Better reporting tools available to all models, mobile and desktop platforms not related and works differently/separately, non auto-refresh and no notifications on mobile versions. Great the way you can email the load to our operators " April 19, 2016 4.0 There are a few things that can make ITS much better. Our load screen has to show our available trucks so we know what equipment is out there when they are not under dispatch. In the appt, time screen there should be a window for open receiving instead of just one field. I do think ITS is a great system it has made our life easier than the old system we worked on but it does need a couple more features for the truck side. The brokerage is great.
