### " Well-Rounded Platform That Keeps Things Moving"

May 4, 2026

4.0

It’s good value for the money and does what I need day-to-day. Invoicing and document management are solid, and once you get used to it, it’s pretty easy to use. Support is usually helpful, but not always quick with more complex issues. Data migration can be a little clunky, and I wish there were better team workflow options—but overall, it gets the job done.

Pros

What I like most about Clio Manage is having everything in one place. I can manage cases, documents, emails, and billing without jumping between a bunch of different systems, which makes my day run a lot smoother. It also keeps things organized for the whole team, so nothing falls through the cracks. It’s not perfect, but it definitely helps keep everything moving efficiently.

### "Fast and efficient Email management."

May 4, 2026

4.0

The transition from our previous software to Clío was challenging, however, since then we have been very happy with the program.

Pros

Clio makes email linking and docketing very smooth when integrated with Outlook Express. It has saved our firm a lot of time beign able to link, docket and file the documents in one step.

Cons

Name searching is sometimes very specific when linking emails, and at times, even correctly enters accounts that do not populate for linking.

### "Clio is just . . . meh!"

August 13, 2025

3.0

This is a good program for a solo or small office but a below average program for a large office. The more non-billing personnel you have and the more users you need makes the program cost outweigh its convenience and lack of flexibility.

Pros

Their customer support until 2025 was excellent, which means they know how to provide it. It has gone down recently choosing to say we are not seeing what we are clearly seeing or putting the problem in to development or even worse, blaming a third party vendor. They were good at helping resolve issues at one time. The program is easy to use and set up however and invoicing is relatively straightforward.

Cons

The per user cost and constant updating of services that are not included and frankly don't work well with their other services seems less of a subscription service and more of a toxic relationship that needs to be ended but for which few viable alternatives exist. We use the "devil we know" expression around my office to describe Clio is, which is not a service that would receive a 5 star review.

### "Clio is great"

March 1, 2026

5.0

I love Clio, I think it has very good benefits and it fits our needs perfectly. It is fully customizable and we love the client portal.

Pros

I love the customer service if I ever have an issue they will address it right away. I also love that I can customize my files my way and organize my documents as I wish.

Cons

The banking system is a little complicated. We use Clio and quickbooks and all transactions have to be inputted a certain way or it will disrupt the accounting.

### "Great interface "

May 14, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been successful and I enjoy using Clio. The interface is easy to use and access.

Pros

The interface is very user friendly and easy to access. It is straightforward to easily access files. Billing is also straightforward and easy to access.

Cons

There are not many perks in the interface in total. However, the transitioning between clio and our previous software was easy to access.

### "Excellent Case Management Software for Busy Law Firms"

May 12, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Clio has been very positive. As a probate paralegal handling multiple active matters, Clio has helped me stay organized, improve communication with clients, track deadlines, manage billing, and maintain efficient case management. The platform has become an essential part of our firm’s daily operations and has greatly improved productivity.

Pros

Clio has made managing probate matters significantly more organized and efficient. I especially appreciate the document management system, billing/invoicing features, and the ability to keep all case communications and deadlines in one centralized platform. It is very user-friendly and helps streamline day-to-day workflow in a busy law office. The integration with tools like e-signature platforms and email tracking has also been extremely helpful.

Cons

Some features can take time to fully learn when first starting out, and occasional syncing or formatting issues can happen with uploaded documents. However, overall the platform is very reliable and the benefits outweigh the minor inconveniences.

### "Great Support for Legal Professionals"

May 4, 2026

5.0

Overall great client management system with excellent support. Would highly recommend to other legal professionals.

Pros

Clio offers excellent customer service. They are proactive to let users know about anticipated issues and very responsive when something is going wrong or you have basic questions. It is also user friendly with most functions being pretty self-explanatory. The integration with LawPay makes invoicing and collections even easier.

Cons

I wish it had internal task automation. Although several integrations assist with automation, things get lost in translation by crossing platforms. If Clio could create an internal process for automating task generation and tracking, that would be excellent. I also wish there was a way to share large files with opposing counsel. While Clio for co-counsel is great when tag-teaming cases, there is no easy way to share large files with people you do not want to give access to your file.

### "Clio is my most trusted partner"

May 2, 2026

5.0

Clio made starting my own firm much less daunting. The customer service is terrific. I was hand held and guided throughout the set up process and have gotten help whenever needed.

Pros

I started my own firm last year and Clio has been my most important partner. I use Clio to manage intake, billing/invoicing, and document management. I appreciate how this one platform can be used for so many different purposes.

Cons

I cannot think of anything -- which speaks volumes. Even when I have had issues, such as with converting or saving files, I have been able to connect with customer service and they help me find workarounds.

### "Sooooo easy to use!"

May 12, 2026

5.0

I have been using Clio at various forms for almost 7 years and I love it. I won’t use any other software for my firm

Pros

Clio takes all the hassle out of billing. I can enter time from my phone, complete and tablet. I love the ease of use and the capability it has

Cons

It is expensive but completely worth it. I also wish I could close bills in the app because then I’d be able to get paid more quickly.

### "Evolving with customers' needs"

May 1, 2026

5.0

Pros

Clio is regularly coming out with new features and improvements. They stick to what they know by staying the legal space, but evolve with the demands of the customers to create an all-in-one platform. Customer service and support are excellent.

Cons

More flexibility in creating reports. They are working on the reporting feature, but we would love to be able to customize dashboards more easily.

### "Class Action Clio Fan"

August 5, 2025

5.0

Clio has been a valuable tool for our firm, offering strong functionality in case management, billing, and document automation. Its intuitive interface and responsive support make daily operations smoother. However, as a class action firm, we’ve had to invest considerable effort customizing Clio to fit our workflows—particularly because it’s designed more for personal injury practices where each contact creates a separate matter. Despite that, Clio remains a reliable and flexible platform that supports our evolving needs.

Pros

Clio is a reliable, user-friendly platform that helps us manage cases, billing, and documents efficiently. It offers responsive customer support and smooth data migration. Invoicing is streamlined, and document automation tools like Clio Draft save us time. Navigation is intuitive, and we appreciate the ability to integrate Clio with other systems like our calendar and Jotform intake forms.

Cons

While Clio offers many valuable features, it appears to be designed primarily for personal injury firms, where each contact typically generates a new matter. As a class action firm, we've had to invest significant time and effort customizing Clio to align with our business model and workflows. This includes adapting how we manage large groups of claimants under a single matter and streamlining intake processes that Clio doesn’t natively support.

### "HIGHLY RECOMMEND CLIO - For now and the next 5-10 years."

October 30, 2025

5.0

Aside from that minor, negative Con above, I Love Clio, as does my staff and colleagues. I've been practicing 34 years, and somewhat of a legal-tech nerd, and hope to remain with Clio for the remainder of my career (5 - 10 years).

Pros

Clio is constantly evolving, improving and innovating to improve the Customer (law firm) experience, consequently enhancing clients' matter outcomes and the client experience.

Cons

Pricing is seemingly disjointed. Separate tiers for Manage (LPM), Grow (CRM), Accounting, Draft (Docs/Templates/Automations), the CPI (Clio Personal Injury "add-on") and now Clio Work (Ai, Research, etc.) If these programs were integrated, and we could select them a la carte under various plans, versus what appear to be distinct packages (some based on user licenses, some that are mandatory for the firm), it would help. IF the CPI or DRAFT were included, maybe for a slightly higher price, it would seem more integrated. I understand the economics, costs to deliver superb service by Clio and value the various components bring, but it is becoming onerous and unwieldy for a solo/sm. firm.

### "Great product"

August 18, 2025

5.0

It has been really great. Like mentioned above, there are some little things I wish could be changes, but overall, we have had a great experience.

Pros

The ability to have everything in once place is the best. We were using so many different programs before. With Clio, we were able to condense our file management, billing, and so much more!

Cons

There are only a few things that I wish I could change about Clio. There are some billing features that I wish would be improved. The things I do not like about it are minimal.

### "Overall great case management system!"

August 13, 2025

5.0

Clio is easy use and easy to set up. It provides multiple payment methods which is helpful in getting bills sent to client and paid.

Pros

Clio is easy to use and very affordable. I especially like that Manage and grow share data very well.

Cons

### "Clio Overpromised in Australia — Still Waiting Two Years Later"

July 11, 2025

1.0

Clio made big promises when they first launched in Australia — seamless integrations, automated processes, and a fully functional payment system, all supposedly ready within six months. Two years later, I’m still waiting for most of that to materialise. I feel let down by the gap between the sales pitch and what’s actually been delivered. Clio may be more developed in other markets, but in Australia, it’s been frustratingly underwhelming. If you’re based in Australia, I’d strongly recommend doing a deep dive and asking very specific questions about what functionality is actually available to you now — not what they hope to offer “soon.” The product feels unfinished in this market, and support can be slow and unresponsive.

Pros

•Clean and user-friendly interface •Good for basic matter management and time recording •Secure and cloud-based, which suits remote teams

Cons

•Key integrations promised at sign-up still don’t exist (two years later) •Clio Payments is not fully automated — many manual steps still required •Support tickets often go unanswered for weeks •Poor accountability from support and product teams •Not well adapted to Australian legal practice needs

### "Clio Does It All!"

August 5, 2025

5.0

I have been using Clio for over 10 years and am extremely happy with the product. It is constantly growing and adapting with technology. It is user friendly and covers all our bases from invoicing to document management and even sharing items with our clients. Clio does it all!

Pros

I like the ease of use and cleanliness of using Clio. It is extremely user friendly for all ages and users.

Cons

My least favorite thing about Clio is its inability to automatically sync Clio Grow with Clio Manage. I think once this integration happens this software will be amazing.

### "Intuitive, but needs better project management. "

March 21, 2025

Have been using Clio for 5 years. Overall happy but wish there were better project management features. I have also had the hardest time with certain integrations on Mac.

Pros

March 19, 2026

Overall having a CRM, email, builder, and billing all in one neat program was worth the extra cost. Everyone onboarded quickly and painlessly as well. So it's a win

Pros

Really cleans up the Desktop instead of 5 different programs we just have one now. What was something bad about Cleo?

Cons

Well of course the cost. They "bundled" me. In order to get all the components we wanted /needed we had to jump up a tier which put is in the hundreds....but it's still manageable

### "Clio is a Game Changer"

November 5, 2025

5.0

I've been user for several years, but its evolution, combined with some additional training, has made it a vastly more valuable tool.

Pros

It has evolved into a whole practice tool, including matter management, automation and CRM management.

Cons

The inability to charge payment processing fees to clients is a persistent irritant. Second, there must be a better way to manage fields in Clio Draft so that they are more uniform and easily accessible, lest they get broken when they are modified for a new template.

Pros

I love the ease of tracking time on a matter, easily creating new matters for previous clients, emailing to a matter to keep track of correspondence and documents.

Cons
