### "A Scheduling Dream for Law Enforcement"

Pros

Very few applications our Department uses work with ease. This is the exception. The software is tailored (and fully customizable) to meet law enforcement needs. The customer service is top-tier, and the InTime team overall is genuinely a joy to work with.

Cons

The backend of the app was a little confusing at first, having walked in with no experience or exposure. Locating instructional resources was also not very obvious at first; our rep quickly helped with this though!

Our department has been using InTime Scheduling for over 15 years, and it’s been a consistently reliable and effective tool. It makes scheduling, overtime management, and shift adjustments straightforward and efficient. The platform has continued to improve over time, and the support team is always responsive and helpful. Overall, InTime has been a great fit for our department’s needs

Pros

Having the ability to go paperless in regards to Overtime. Also the ability for everyone to sign up for overtime through their phones.

Cons

Shift bidding is not seniority based. I hear there’s a fix coming, so hoping it comes soon. Looking forward to the change.

Overall, I love it. When there are bugs or issues they are quickly patched and fixed. Reliable program.

Pros

Covers all of my department needs and it is extremely easy to use and teach. It’s user friendly and easy to add / remove anything you want

Cons

Would be beneficial to have the ability to create and monitor posts from the mobile app. It’s my only suggestion

Intime has been an amazing resource. They’ll connect you with the right person to troubleshoot any issues and they really listen to what their customers want

Pros

Their customer support from the very beginning has been amazing. We get answers quickly and they’re readily available to help any time you need it.

Cons

It would be nice if admin could create and/or customize reports or how certain things (like timesheets) look for end-users

My overall experience has been great. Intime has been easy to adapt to our needs and adapt to our payroll system for semi-automations.

Pros

The ease of use while being complex enough to tackle unique scheduling circumstances. Being able to set templates and preload significantly decrease scheduling time required.

Cons

The initial learning curve can be steep. Understanding how all the tools work together slow the initial implement and adaptation.

Daily user since 2012. Daily scheduler since 2016 and now the department system admin and project lead.

Pros

Intime makes it easy to manage complex schedules in a 24/7 working environment while maintaining minimum staffing requirements and managing leave, callouts and overtime.

Cons

At times the desktop environment can be very resource intensive for a mobile computer and struggles to update in real time.

Absolutely fantastic! Have been is using InTime for 8 years and it gets better every year. Love the additional modules that can be added.

Pros

Customer support is 100%. Intime has streamlined our scheduling, payroll, overtime and time off immensely!

Cons

With the shift bidding module it is difficult to change a schedule during the year. Otherwise overall very happy InTime.

Never had any issues. If we do have some sort of issue, InTime support is always ready to help. Very efficient and friendly team.

Pros

Meets all of our scheduling needs. The ease of use is great if you put the time and effort to learn the program.

Cons

Not really a con, but if you’re not using it on a daily basis, it can be difficult to use. But that’s an issue on the user.

The payroll module program is very user friendly. We are able to attach tracking categories for our grant use.

Cons

There are challenges with integration with \[sensitive content hidden\]. Our agency has to do a manual export and submit the export to our payroll department.

It’s been very positive so far. Only been using the platform for about 2 years but we’ve come a long ways from where we were.

Pros

No more paper forms!! It has made the preparation for our payroll so much easier. There are no longer papers being lost impacting the accuracy of payroll.

Cons

Relies on company officers to provide accurate inputs. Some of our officers just aren’t tech savvy and they struggle with that.

Overall the software has allowed us to move from a hybrid paper/digital system that was very time-consuming. The training, sales and support staff at Intime was very helpful in deploying the system. We continue to find new opportunities to take advantage of the features.

Pros

This software is purpose-built for Law Enforcement and public safety. It covers shift periods that extend over 24 hour periods.

Cons

Supervisor functionality is not yet available on the mobile app.

We love InTime in the areas we are comfortable using. Want to be able to utilize more features to streamline our service especially in our time of growth.

Pros

The reports, easy to pull up to date information, historical data and future data.

Cons

Not enough one on one training time. We have had a new leadership team that inherited the product set up and I feel it does not meet our current and future needs. InTime will be reviewing our current set up and work with us to ensure the changes to our organization will make sense in our InTime program going forward. We are investing in technology and streamlining our processes.

We moved to electronic time entry with InTime which has been huge benefit in so many ways. We find support to be fabulous. Very responsive and great to work with.

Pros

That we were able to rebuild our scheduling software and utilize it for our payroll import as well. This was an accomplishment no one though possible. It is a huge time saver and extremely more accurate than our old process of paper time cards.

Cons

There are just a few issues that we find frustrating. Locations and Activities in the mobile app are not collapsible by group. Employees can't chose to post a overtime shift. When someone is awarded a post from another employee, it doesn't remove the original assignment from the first employee. Also that they don't offer a training database that can easily be updated from live data. Compared to what other software companies offer I feel it is a real miss on InTime's part

Keeping track of the PTO (paid time off) was a timely task before inTime. There were many questions generated that ended once we implemented inTime.

Pros

We have constant changes with schedules, shifts, wages and many intricate rules dictated by both union and non union policy. Having vetted and used several other software programs, we find inTime to work the best for all employees. There are fewer complaints and questions regarding PTO, payroll, scheduling and overtime.

Cons

We use inTime and it feeds to another software per school policy. It does not integrate perfectly.

This is one application we generally have no issues with. Availability is close to perfect. Support is ready to assist with any issue(s) you have and you receive timely return calls when needed. Reliable, stable product.

Pros

Will assist you with keeping track of officers on duty, officers well being, staffing requirements, special assignments, vacations, and accruals. So much more.

Cons

Nothing is perfect, the "wheel" can always use some "tweaking." Special Event staffing can always use room for improvement. Both have been improved upon.

Pros

The ease of use, templates make things so much easier for high volumes of employees!

Cons

Wish there was a sandbox feature that you can do up mock schedules and then be able to 'load to production' sometimes the best planning doesn't work and you end up redoing things.

Pros

Integration was simple because we came from an excel spreadsheet system. As an admin and scheduler, I find those tasks mostly easy to navigate and very user friendly.

Cons

I think the process of filling posts can be a little more user friendly and intuitive. We do a lot at my agency as far as roles and responsibilities and I am constantly getting the dreaded "!" because there was some small thing that was askew but easily explainable. I wish we had more power to disregard an error.
