Once the end users get familiar and comfortable with the software the information that is collected regarding parts being used, equipment failures, workorder field requests and scheduling of work it is a valuable tool for the department especially with documentation and again control inventory.

Pros

The software is flexible and customizable with the use of reports which allows the user to create their own in order focus on certain areas of inventory, assets or workorders. Overall helping to control inventory.

Cons

Sometimes when changes or updates are made things change or move and you don't always realize it until days or weeks later. With that said user support is helpful and thing eventually get resolved.

### "The best CMMS software"

We have been working succesfully with the system, the mobile app and the training (eMaint University and Customer Sucess Portal). Overall the aftersales operationa have impproved efficiency and we have a stronger documented process.

Pros

It has allowed for a better control, scheduling and traking of the filed service technicians. We are getting very usefull data for preventive maintenance and for quality assurance the electronic records and customer survey feedback is valuable as well.

Cons

Some people have not embraced the change fully so this has proven to be a bit challenging. But are issolated cases.

I have been working with emaint for around 6 months now. I started using emaint on the technician level and am now using as an admin creating a new site based on experiences learned from using it at a lower level

Pros

The biggest thing that I like about emaint cmms is the customer service. Every time I have had an issue I have been helped to find a solution and if one can’t be found I’m directed to someone that does know.

Cons

My least favorite thing about emaint has to do with our company and that is the security firewall don’t let emaint talk with our plc and other plant systems

### "Most of the time it prevents the PMs from failing"

Now the guys get a pop-up alert on their phones telling them to perform the tasks and they usually do. The inventory alerts are also helpful, because we were constantly running low on consumable items.

Pros

I was impressed by how quickly the support team ( \[sensitive content hidden\]) answered my chat requests and did not just provide me with scripted responses. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the setup happened and the new system does not lose any PM schedule information as our previous system did. It’s good enough to check what tires are remaining in stock before I head back out to the floor.

Cons

Sometimes the bar charts will freeze up and prevent scrolling until I exit the whole page and return. This is very annoying. The PO portion of the system is also somewhat clunky.

The first couple of years we had some tough times developing the system but I feel it’s in a decent spot now with a lot more to do.

Pros

The system is easy to navigate and I like the range of reports we can generate from the system to gain insight to all aspects of our maintenance and reliability processes.

Cons

The amount of work around we have had to create in our system to accomplish our company goals. I also dislike the scheduler in the system. It doesn’t have flexibility to fit my departments needs.

### "A happy X5 customer"

We have been using Emaint X5 for about 2 years now. For work orders, everything can be customized so it is simplified for our wide range of users. Creating reports is easy. Adding parts to the inventory section only requires a few steps. Customer support is great. They respond quickly, and always very helpful. We also have a Customer Support Manager who quickly responds to questions if needed. We are about to launch Fluke Mobile which will benefit our Teams greatly.

Pros

Work orders are easily created. Reporting can be customized to suit our needs. And parts can be added quickly to inventory.

Cons

Asset search can be a bit cumbersome when you have multiple assets in an area. We have numerous restaurants for example with kitchen equipment. Trying to find these can sometimes require extra time because the search function doesn't search for every word.

### "I use eMaint daily for tracking our work order and asset histories"

It replaced our paper work orders and spreadhseets all over the place and served as a single source for me to see what jobs have been done previously to track on maintenance history, accountability. All in all, it has helped me become a more organized person and spend less time wondering when I did something and to spend more time actively doing stuff.

Pros

Typically I will check it first thing in the morning to determine if anything is past due, what has been completed by my team and what is still pending for parts. The nice thing about putting all of this in eMaint is that I am able to monitor what is going on with my team, rather than having to constantly ask them.

Cons

Some parts of the program feel sluggish, particularly when I’m attempting to code a new report or change how data is displayed. When Ive had to teach new staff members that arent so tech savvy, I've learned it takes a lot of patience. Also, I do wish some of the workflows were not so prescriptive, as we have many reactive jobs.

Overall it was a good a experience with a lot of learning opportunities. Potential for bigger rooms but would recommend for new users.

Pros

Allowed for one on one assistance. Provided also good face time with other users in order gauge their use cases.

Cons

Small rooms which at times would cause some courses to be too full or feel cramped. Potentially providing some hands on land to help tech l teach or show users how to apply what they've learned.

Very good, the system was tailored to my companies needs and wants. They are always trying to improve with the release of new features and add ons.

Pros

How easy it is to distribute work and workload to the team, asset lifecycle and maintenance tracking, asset management and work order tracking. Mobile app is very useful for on-site work order management.

Cons

The scheduler but there has been improvements to the current version. There were some issues with documents which was quickly resolved.

Pros

Friendly CMMS, it had been a great tool for PM's and kitting. Also for control of cost while having control of parts and labor.

Cons

it works well, sometimes it runs a little bit slow, probably is our server but the strange thing is that it doesn't happen all the time

Overall, it has been a great experience. It has opened my eyes to a lot of different ways that can can utilize the platform in order to streamline our SOP’s and great a more efficient and reliable operation

Pros

The best part about it is the way that it allows us to put all of our maintenance tasks in one central location and lets us track history of an asset and confirm things that we have done in the past and create a plan to better maintain assets going forward

Cons

The usability for a first time user is a little complicated. It is going to take a good bit of time in the system to get truly comfortable using it to its true capabilities

X4 was clunky lots of name changes between x4 and x5 makes for harder transition. Difficult to set up new site

Pros

Ease of use and excellent customer service. Interface is perfect for real time working. Task management is a breeze with X5.

Cons

Reporting and dashboard creation can be very tricky initially. Mobile app requires ios or galaxy devises only.

customer support, fast and accurate response, easy to follow steps. the reports and being able to send to none account users is helpful

Cons

alot of setup fields, but this is something than can be learnt as with any process. the more i interact the more i will learn

Very easy to use. It helps me keep all my purchases in order. I can enter comments, pick my items that i buy regularly, include my supply name, parts number and id number.

Pros

Customer Support. When i have questions and email support they are always quick to respond and very helpful resolving my issue or answering any questions i have.

I would like that it would update the any new vendor number itself instead of me having to look for the last number i used.

Pros

Ease navigating system and creating new assets it is easy to create pm’s and maintain tracking of when they are due

Mobile version is not as effective and is missing a lot of functionality that the full version has included

The software shows the boss the KPI charts so he usually leaves me alone. I was shocked it took less than 3 years to complete the initial setup. It has helped with some of the preventative maintenance so the equipment dies less frequently.

Pros

We can add pictures to the work orders which is convenient. Dark Mode does not hurt my eyes as much as the old method used to. It is connected to SAP and it has not gone down once today. The Maintenance Plans are also displayed in a calendar format fairly easily.

Cons

The mobile application is very slow syncing when I am out in the back of the plant and the WiFi is bad. I dislike it when you cannot change the asset on a work order after it has been created because then I have to completely cancel everything and start from scratch because someone hit the wrong pump. It logs me out about five times a day.

eMaint keeps me up on a lot of assets and doesn't let me get overwhelmed ( things like PMs or open work don't get lost ). It has made scheduling more predictable for me, reduced surprises on the technicians part and visibility into what’s really happening day to day.

Pros

It allows me to put all my work orders and PM schedules for everything in one location, so I’m not going back and forth with different spreadsheets and emails. I use it daily to review what’s due, assign tasks and look up history on assets quickly whenever a tech has tie up question. It’s simple enough that I can make changes on the fly without interrupting my flow, it just works.

Cons

There are some elements of the system that I have to fumble for a minute about, I’m specifically thinking about trying to set up more complex PM logic or reports. I should also note that integrating new team members takes longer than I’d prefer, largely because a couple of menus aren’t as intuitive as the rest. And although the touch on mobile works, I do wish it felt a bit more fluid when I’m out on the floor.

Pros

I like how it’s structured and helps provide guidance and structure to our plant. It provides a clear path for us to clean up our old processes.

Cons

The set up is tedious but worth it in the end. The work flows are also fairly tricky to set up but support offers great help.

Good overall, some functions were not utilized properly by my predecessors and lead to friction, but we are switching to X5 and should be fixing everything.

Pros

It is very easy to generate reports and create dashboards. The customization of forms is also a nice feature.

Cons

The PM creation in X4 could use some work. You can only attach one asset to a PM, so the list of similar PMs on different assets quickly piles up if you have multiples of an asset.

Pros

Reporting is was I like the most. Customers and management really enjoy being able to see the reports which make it’s easy for me to show them

Cons

At first, Emaint can be a tad difficult to find your way around the system. But once you’re familiar with the system, it’s a piece of cake.
