Our post-go-live experience has been the most helpful. Implementation into the new X5 system went so rough that the team assisting us with issues after going live have had far more work on their hands than they should've had.

Pros

Work order and PM filing, task library, partitioning of sites, quick import process, reliable support post-go-live.

Cons

Implementation. Lots of data points were missed or imported properly, and some training was suboptimal.

The ability to grab and drop work orders on the scheduler to easily change the work flow for the day to adjust the schedule.

Not being able to change certain functions that control kpi to make it easier for people who don’t look at it daily to understand what they are looking at

Pros

Easy of implementing and flexibility to customize the tool for your needs. Very excited about the new enhancements coming out - the future is here.

No real criticism here, it’s a great product for the investment. The training support is adequate and easy to engage.

Lots to learn and thankful for tech support when I am in a hurry. I like the online university when I have time to learn.

Pros

Has all the information that I need in one place to keep my equipment PM and ready to run at all times

Cons

Price to upgrade to x5 is steep when we already have x4. Would love to upgrade by current financials in bourbon industry are not favorable.

Overall, it is a nice CMMS and they update it frequently. When they same something will be in the short term -really does not seem short term

Pros

Allows tracking and trending data across the company. Provides valuable insights into divisions within the company

Cons

Dashboards and reports need to be much easier to create and much more interactive. You need to be able to create both without necessarily knowing SQL to get the best info

I can't say enough good thi gs about it. X5 is better than i expected. So customizable, easy to filter, very user friendly and easy to understand.

Pros

It is very customizable and easy to set up and use both on desktop and mobile, it has everything you need to support purchasing, inventory and purchasing.

Cons

Creating custom reports with expressions can be very difficult unless you are familiar with SQL language

Overall eMaint CMMS has been a fantastic product that supports my company's needs. It goes above and beyond my company's requirements for tracking data trails and parts management as well as supporting the team in task and project management.

Pros

EMaint CMMS has excellent customizability in all fields plus the ability to add in features via workflows that are not currently native helps support the unique nuances to a specific industry. Additionally, it allows for custom prioritization of tasks for technicians through priority fields or custom fields.

Cons

The lack of some basic features on startup, such as cost analysis dashboards and connected sub-assets. While these features are easily configurable, they are fairly common in most industries and it would be beneficial to have some options for pre-built models that can be modified after the fact.

Very good trackability of everything done. Endless possibility in the system, report system is fantastic.

Cons

Things can be a bit hands on in the system but that is mostly from not knowing how to operate the system to its full potential.

With it being my 3rd CMMS I have used, emaint is the most user friendly and configurable option and easiest to train on.

Pros

The configurability to be able to show the same information in multitude of ways. People learn differently, so allowing users the freedom to see information through various export options is vital. Also, it is extremely easy to manage PM work orders including assignments, tasks, and all personnel records to ensure the system is true. The support team at emaint is fantastic. If there are ever any issues/delays, it is very easy to get ahold of proper contact.

Cons

Overall, it has been good. There is a learning curve to a software system especially switching from X4 to X5. A lot of the programmable options like custom expression require some background in coding or logic

Pros

Our team is gnar gnar pow pow. We ask and they deliver. They have always worked well with us to build our unique solutions to appease our company restrictions.

Cons

Logging in to several instances for the various business cases we utilize is annoying. We have 5 instances that we utilize and it is a nightmare managing the user experience.

### "Emaint X4 wins over other CMMS platforms!"

The overall experience with Emaint X4 product has been enjoyable. There was a learning curve when transitioning from another CMMS platform, however, the platform is friendly to the average user.

Pros

I have worked through multiple CMMS platforms and I really enjoy being able to use one platform for tracking equipment, pms, inventory, and daily tasks. The platform offers everything that the maintenance departments needs at a price point that makes sense to accounting.

Cons

Working with the X4 platform has not had many cons at this point. One thing that I would like to change is the way images show on printed documents. The file formatting has not converted well to printed documents.

It has been a wonderful experience all together after implementation into x5. X4 was very limited to organization and capabilities compared to what we were showed in X5. And expectations are very well worth the wait.

Pros

I love the application for emaint mobile. The ease of the application has helped as a technician. I cant wait for the further advancement with AI to take place.

Cons

The transition from x4 to x5 was very difficult. But our implementation rep and our customer succession planner Carlos has been the reason why will never leave emaint.

It’s been a great dollar around experience. We have seen that we have gotten in front of many problems since we have the ability to go back and look at the things that keep happening over and over.

The ability to document all the maintenance we do in particular assets, not having to go back through pieces of paper or different files to pull that maintenance and know what we did

Cons

Having to run Internet or broadband throughout the plant, so the guys could do their inspections with their tablets in the field

The system allows you to run your maintenance department in many aspects. I use it for work planning, spare parts management, generating reports, providing technical and photographic documentation. Our users have the ability to report the need for work.

Pros

Ability to personalize lists, assign work orders, generate and automatically send raoports to email inbox.

Cons

The thing I like least is the technical support. Unfortunately, reported problems or requests for help go unanswered sometimes for weeks at a time. Differences appear with the access of users with the same permissions.

I love the systems. It is extremely easy to use. Fluke Mobile has been a lifesaver with the ease of use for the maintenance team.

Pros

User interface, having the same tasks for multiple plants, having all plants on one platform. It is easy for the plants to look up another plants spare parts, which means they don’t have to get a hold of me to see if someone else has a part

Cons

I personally have a hard time making reports, nothing on the CMMS though. I am hoping in the future I can tell the AI to create a report for me.

### "A happy X5 customer"

We have been using Emaint X5 for about 2 years now. For work orders, everything can be customized so it is simplified for our wide range of users. Creating reports is easy. Adding parts to the inventory section only requires a few steps. Customer support is great. They respond quickly, and always very helpful. We also have a Customer Support Manager who quickly responds to questions if needed. We are about to launch Fluke Mobile which will benefit our Teams greatly.

Pros

Work orders are easily created. Reporting can be customized to suit our needs. And parts can be added quickly to inventory.

Cons

Asset search can be a bit cumbersome when you have multiple assets in an area. We have numerous restaurants for example with kitchen equipment. Trying to find these can sometimes require extra time because the search function doesn't search for every word.

It is a great program. And I'm looking forward to where the current innovations take it. With its customizable setup and interface it works perfectly for my needs.

Pros

The system i highly customizable for any needs and allows for easy asset management. They also provide great customer support with a quick response time.

Cons

My only issues would be with the reports and workflows, but this is more that my skills are lacking, and any isses i have had have been fixed with customer service help.

Very good, the system was tailored to my companies needs and wants. They are always trying to improve with the release of new features and add ons.

Pros

How easy it is to distribute work and workload to the team, asset lifecycle and maintenance tracking, asset management and work order tracking. Mobile app is very useful for on-site work order management.

Cons

The scheduler but there has been improvements to the current version. There were some issues with documents which was quickly resolved.

Pros

Its scaleable for both large and small sites, pretty easy to configure and right size. Report and workflow automation allow for non full time users to get benefits that larger sites usually only enjoy

Terminology used to describe fields, How many fields can be misunderstood because they have similar names or dont fit regular speach

Very easy to use. It helps me keep all my purchases in order. I can enter comments, pick my items that i buy regularly, include my supply name, parts number and id number.

Pros

Customer Support. When i have questions and email support they are always quick to respond and very helpful resolving my issue or answering any questions i have.

Cons

I would like that it would update the any new vendor number itself instead of me having to look for the last number i used.
