Pros

It works when setup correctly. Patching and alerting are a great feature. There are a lot of features we do not use yet, but are slowly getting to it

Cons

It can be difficult to setup features and tasks. Liveconnect and OnDemand are VERY slow for us. It feels clunky. The on demand agent is just to large so we use an alternate solution for on demand support for clients without agents.

This software is easy to install on user client pc, and easy to update and manage it. Cost is good.

Cons

Admin needs many management software updates, and it always needs a reboot. If admin uses the old version, it didn't work.

LiveConnect remote access is super fast and allows us to be in multiple places at one time.

Cons

We also use Kaseya to push Windows patches to our clients. Support for Windows 10 has been a little slow.

Pros

Kaseya is a great IT tool overall. It combines computer management, software pushing, and ticketing in one big package.

Cons

It's not very intuitive and can be limited out of the box without development. It's a bit expensive as every computer using Kaseya needs it's own license.

Pros

Kaseya live connect is great. Remote control is fast when it is installed correctly. Controlling CMD on the background is the best.

Cons

There is no option to turn off the screen. It needs to update often and it won't let you do a remote session until you update. This is very critical in emergency situations.

There seems to be a ton of options! We're not using to it to it's full extent, but the possibility of doing so is exciting.

There are so many buttons and I don't know what they mean! The VSA Review program you have in place is excellent to help me get my head around all of the potential of Kaseya.

Managing multiple company remotely.

Pros

Being able to manage multiple machines using just 1 platform. My favorite is being able to help users remotely and using live connect.

Cons

We are not told when certain bugs are in place. I would like to be more aware of current bugs so i know how to operate around them.

It is the jack of all trades, master of none. it manages a lot of things decently, but really does not excel at anything

Cons

if you dont take the time to learn EVERYTHING, there are lots of little caveats that makes other things harder; reporting, logging etc

We provide asset management service, in SaaS business, by Kaseya. So benefit I had is that we increase one service menu using this software.

Pros

\*Easy UI to use software \*Technical support team gave me answer in one business day thus I can easier maintenance this software.

Cons

\*When I purchased license, I need to buy only 2 months of license because our because we are going to stop this service. And we need to negotiate a lot with Kaseya sales team to extend license only 2 months instead of year.

Their sales team promised us if we are not happy for any reason within 90 days we can cancel the contract. Make sure you get this in writing. In fact, ask them to put this in their contract no matter what (satisfaction clause).

Pros

Reporting is ok. Agent installation is fast.

Cons

you cannot connect to a Mac system with two support agents. The remote connection hangs and freezes. As of June 2019, Kaseya is working on live connect tool and that is slow and crashes . Their old remote connection is slow. I recommend you test their remote connect tool with your clients before signing on.

Overall, my experience is good, as I have a decent learning ability, but for first time users it’s extremely difficult to navigate.

Pros

You’re able to offer remote support sessions, push application packages, remote command prompt, application inventory and more.

Cons

The UI is confusing and takes a long while to get used to. There is also more than one way to complete the same action in many cases, meaning that if two users learn to do something, they don’t necessarily know the same method.

Overall, it is very powerful and scalable platform. It is just very expensive.

Pros

It is very easy for technicians to use and provides a nice single pane of glass to see everything through. Kaseya has lots of options for you to add on to sell to your customers as well.

Cons

Updates to the VSA system are problematic and sometimes require lots of effort to resolve. Kaseya support is helpful but it can take a long time to fix issues. It is also very expensive and requires a good deal of hardware.

Pros

This is what our company has been using since we switched to a new IT monitoring company and we like it much better than our previous software. We have had no issues with connection or bugs so far and the software has been reliable for the year we have had it.

Cons

It did take a bit longer to learn than our previous solution. Maybe not as user friendly as other similar software but definitely not too bad.

They talk a big story but the software is VERY cumbersome and difficult to configure. Once configured, they processes do not work as configured with many failures. In my opinion, don't waste your money.

Pros

The features but unfortunately it is very unreliable.

Cons

Very complicate to learn and takes just as much time to operate and administer as doing hte processes manually on each machine.
