Pros

The VSA has helped our IT department with our daily tasks. Connecting and helping our staff has never been better with the VSA. Connection times are fast and the reconnect feature has been a much needed addition to the platform.

Cons

It periodically gets hung up and needs rebooted, but I don't falter the software, rather the hardware its running on.

Pros

The liveconnect feature is quick, and vital to our operations. Multiple techs use this every day for our onsite support.

Cons

We have continually lost functionality. The latest victim is the iPad app for the help desk. We have over 75 techs that rely on this every day and we are wondering what is next for us with this portion of the product.

Ability to support our client base in one place.

Pros

Functionality and the ability to gather a snap shot of all clients and make changes across the platform.

Cons

Utilizing all the features and updates. Some utilities are not used by our organization due to training and when updates are performed, we lose some reports and functionality we previously had.

Pros

The ability to centralize a, automate and monitor lot of our IT functions. The windows update and application update module is a really nice add-on to address all vulnerable applications.

Cons

Asset management and Active Directory integration. Lack of Chromebook options. The support has been challenging to work with on higher end issues.

It makes management of end point assets MUCH easier.

Pros

This software has so many great features. My favorite modules are the Agent, Software Deployment modules. These are where I spend the bulk of my time.

Cons

The software is NOT easy to use, and the documentation on how to use it is not very easy to find. This is my largest pain point with Kaseya.

Pros

Easy to managing and deploying 3rd Party Software. Quickview and Live Connect is one of the best tools for the User Helpdesk, fast and easy to use.

Cons

Only for monitoring exist better solutions. We use to systems for our Costumers, PRTG only for monitoring the critical systems, for all the rest Kaseya VSA.

I have switche3d most of my endpoint management to competing products because I have had much better results. Overall, I am not satisfied with Kaseya VSA.

Pros

Kaseya is a powerful product that allows you to complete a wide variety of endpoint management tasks. Reporting is stronger than in some competing products.

Cons

I was very happy with the product until it was sold a few years ago. Support used to be very good and management was quick to assist with problems that we found. After the company was sold, the quality of support greatly deceased and the product stagnated.

Pros

Agent procedures to automate scripts are the best thing about it. The Remote Control and Live connect work well. Policy management in kaseya makes it easy to automate everything in Kaseya.

Cons

Their tier 1 support is bad. If you get escalated to tier 2 they are great. The VSA website does not work well in Chrome.

The ease of remotely accessing devices to help resolve issues is amazing. Not to mention the remote aspects of running procedures for software means we don't have to connect to any device.

Cons

Reports are confusing to generate and take multiple steps to get the desired results.

Ease of Management with Workstations

Pros

The remote control works very smoothly and helps so much in performing tasks on remote computers. I haven't used this but the patch management seems to be really useful and can make life easier for a lot of ITs.

Cons

For a reason I haven't used the Patch Management, it's a little hard to understand how to get it going in the first place. And same goes for a couple things. It's a really great software but some of the features could use a more intuitive approach that makes it easier to hit the ground running. It could just be me having a tough time with it but still has been an issue for me.

Cons

There is no I just want to ask question about how this works type of support. House so no telephone support at all. Also mobile doesn't work for us because it only supports active directory

Pros

This software does everything you need for managing literally thousands of machines, you just have to pay for it and be willing to put up with the times it doesn't work.

Cons

Very buggy on updates. New products are frequently launched then abandoned a few years later for something newer.

Patch management makes it easy to manage Windows patches for computers in my organization and keeping them up to date.

Cons

No service tag for Dell computers. It would be nice to have that option back when you clicked on the tag number in kaseya and it woukd tag you to the Dell site.

Pros

easy remote control and file transferring capabilities, creating custom agent procedures are pretty easy.

Cons

SSO issues with logging into the portal, connectivity issues sometimes. Slow response from support on specific issues unless you classify "server down".

Old interface, every new module costs more money, no progress or RELEVANT updates to the core product, arrogant company, buggy software.

Can be a little buggy sometimes, but support can usually can help fix the issues in no time at all.

Pros

This is the most robust RMM out there, period. Their support is great and responsive. The depth of configuration and customization is unparalleled.

Cons

The RMM comes empty, you have to completely build it out the way you want it, which can be a great thing but takes a lot of time and effort. The ecosystem takes a while to learn. Plan on spending a lot of time in the University.

Cons

Some of the modules you really need to spend time reviewing and partake in training. Not as intuitive especially Agent procedures.

Pros

I do like Kaseya's ability to connect remotely to devices, despite it not being all that reliable. While I appreciate the amount of features in Kaseya, I think it would be beneficial if Kaseya would spend some time simplifying their interface.

Cons

The interface feels dated. There are intermittent connectivity issues when using the LiveConnect app. Routine tasks seem more complex than they need to be.

Was able to script installations across multiple computers.

Pros

The product can do pretty much everything you want it to. Very granular access to the details of a computer which is nice.

Cons

Some of the modules are not intuitive and the product doesn't work as expected sometimes. Reporting is tough to figure out, the discovery work 50% of the time, and remote control while great when it works only 90% of the time which is good until you have the owner of a company on the phone and need to support them. Remote control should be close to 100% reliable in my opinion.
