AllBooked by Skedda is the most powerful booking solution for community-based spaces. We work with athletic facilities, creative studios, coworking spaces, and more, and make it easy for their customers and members to book their courts, fields, rooms, desks, and other spaces. AllBooked's software is centered around an ultra-easy booking experience, a highly customizable rules engine, and advanced pricing and payment processing capabilities. AllBooked integrates with a wide range of outside systems, including smart locks, via Zapier. Founded in Australia in 2013, AllBooked is used by over 4,000 venues around the world. AllBooked was previously marketed under the name Skedda, and remains powered by the robust Skedda booking engine to this day.

It is very easy to create rules for bookings. Our clients fid it easy to book the conference rooms they want and I am confident they are not double booking things.

Pros

It is very easy to navigate and create booking venues. I frequently think of new ways to use the product for different venues in our building.

Cons

I liked everything really. It could be a little more colorful but honestly I like the simplicity of design which doesn't take away from the reason people are looking at the site.

Very easy to use. This is a great product for our customers wanting to book out boats. But, you could use it for booking event space, or equipment too.

Pros

I loved how fast someone was able to help me. Often, there is a long wait at other companies. Thanks!

Cons

I can't think of anything at the moment. I have found the people available quickly. May be having a feature to view the year's bookings on the admin side.

I'm glad we're using it. I don't know if it's truly worth what we've paid, but hopefully by the end of the year we'll at least break even.

Pros

Customers find it fairly straightforward. I like that there's an ability to create a unique url to automatically tag different types of users. I like that I can add conditions to schedule and users.

Cons

People don't love immediately needing to add in their payment details. I deeply wish the database was more user-friendly -- you can't sort by specific details and you can't collect additional information.

I've been very pleased and would recommend this to those who are facing the challenge of managing multiple spaces like us.

Pros

I enjoy how simple it makes organizing so many event spaces and conference rooms here. We have the ability to expand into the for-profit sector by charging minimal fees for our larger spaces which helps offset costs of running them.

Cons

My only small gripe is managing user access to bookings and viewing certain spaces. We have multiple businesses in the building so not all spaces are available to everyone.

Pros

Our All-Booked experience has been very pleasant so far and our members really like the platform. On-boarding is super easy, modifications are simple to make and it's very user-friendly.

Cons

There's nothing that I really don't like. I'm not sure if we use it enough to justify the cost, however that is more a function of our business changing and not necessarily the product.

I have been really happy with the experience. I also appreciate the quick customer service and ease of the app.

Pros

It is such an easy app to use, straight forward and has everything I need. Clinicians find it easy to navigate.

Cons

As my clinic has many different contract options I wish there was a way I could select all the outstanding invoices and click all paid rather than individual clicking.

Very positive experience overall, I have been using AllBooked by Skedda for over 9 years and have found it consistently reliable, easy to manage and well suited to busy facility operations.

Pros

Reliable and efficient booking system, easy to use and keeps everything organised and accurate daily.

Cons

Payment manager can be limited, not as intuitive, and lacks flexibility for more complex booking and billing needs.

Easy to set up and the App has been really useful for my employees and outside users. Having a system like this to start our booking operations has worked out great so far

Excellent product and customer support. It is easy to use, easy to customise as administrators, easy to use for our members and efficient. It has changed the way we operate our space.

I wish we could group members so a group can share a set amount of hours of use of the space but otherwise, the platform works really well for us.

It is a real work horse tool that we rely on. But could be so much more useful to how we want to use it

Easy to use. Easy to create a booking. Good view on a page of all bookings Very responsive support and help

Cons

1\. Built for a particular business type - ie not a junior soccer club. Not a universal tool for all organisations with different needs. E.g Can’t easily share a booking or send the complete venue schedule to more than one person ie parents of an U9 football team. 2. High price point for our use cases.

I believe its a great easy to use software with a great developing team behind it keeping it fresh and up to date often getting new features. The map feature allows our customers to visualise the facility and then get a better understanding when booking out spaces.

Pros

I loved the trial account that they set up for us to try the software free for 30 days, allowing us to see if the software was the right fit for us. Without this we may not have been able to see its full capacity.

Cons

I do think it can be an expensive software as its charged per space you have, which can add up quickly. I do think now that it is worth it however due to the great support from the team and capability of the software.

Has been a very good product for our needs. We only have a few rooms to rent and the ease of setting those rooms up has been great for us

Good experience- customer service is responsive as far as time. We've used "AllBooked" since it was Skedda, and it's been far too long to wait for the needed features.

Pros

It's a full-featured booking system that allows multiple spaces and also specific add-ons for spaces (i.e. a keyboard, microphone, etc.) and it's simple to assign specific costs for each item.

Cons

I HATE that it does not have more ways to filter the view. For a venue booking multiple spaces and needing to be able to view by day, or block of time, it's a real drawback and we've been begging for this feature for years.

Great support, the team respond in a timely manner and the platform is always being improved. As a charity it is important to us to have affordable systems that help us to be as efficient as possible.

Pros

The simplicity from both sides, it is easy for us to use and our clients. We've used it for over 6 years. It improved our efficiencies and income.

Cons

We'd like to be able to bulk mark off our payments so we can use it as an effective financial check, at present it is far too onerous as you have to do it by individual occurrences, costing us too much admin time.

Overall my experience with these guys has been flawless and I feel genuinely and sincerely taken into consideration when I contact their support staff with a bunch of my crazy ideas! Couldn't ask for a smoother experience thus far.

Pros

We've used their platform for close to 2 years now and honestly its been a game changer for us from an out-of-the-box solution. Efficient and genuine value for money to give my business the credibility it needs.

Cons

The only con I can think of is the inability to customize the look and feel such as fonts & colors of everything as a whole, but even this was an easy workaround to make this still fit into my brand's identity.

Excellent - professional, smart and enjoyable to use everyday. The live customer support is also extremely helpful and valuable.

Pros

The ability to customise booking conditions, booking rules, pricing conditions, and payments by user tag - so apt for real time businesses!

Cons

I'd like my customers to have a dash to see what their quotas/pricing/subscription is - I'm sure it's on the way down the track.

Allbooked has enabled us to streamline processes and offer customers an efficient booking experience.

Pros

The ability to set many different pricing rules, particularly based on user tags. This has enabled our complex pricing structure which offers more affordable pricing to members. The platform is easy to use and the app is fantastic.

Cons

I'd love to see more payment options soon. Top priority would be facilitating customer subscriptions in the platform, but discount code / coupon functionality would be extremely valuable to us in monetising our spaces. Other payment features that would be beneficial include - ability to sell add ons in the booking form or at checkout (such as technician support at our music studios, or drumsticks). Ability for customers who pay upfront to edit/amend their bookings post-payment, and have this integrated into Stripe so that their payment adjustment is automatically processed.

Great. Prompt service and no issues with uptime. Our members have no problem using the system to book time on machines.

Pros

Great Sales and Setup support Easy to use administration back end Easy to book for users Easy to see utilization

Cons

We have a number of machines so the cost per booking is high for our use case. I would like to be able to be able to organize machines by room in list view.

The system is very intuitive to use and visually pleasing. The designers have done a wonderful job on this system.

Pros

We have a building that has multiple tenants with shared meeting rooms. This system allowed us the ability to setup internal and external booking options and is very user friendly.

Cons

The system is little pricy but the functionality we get meets our wish list so this helped to justify the costs.

The old system was cumbersome to use and hard to allow access for our remote workers and external tenants. We required VPN connections when off-site and was a bit of a learning curve for new users.

It’s a well-designed, reliable platform that simplifies space and resource management. Minor learning curve for new users, but nothing too difficult to overcome.

Pros

AllBooked by Skedda is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. The clean interface makes it easy to manage bookings, set up spaces, and customize access rules. The automation features save time and reduce manual admin work, and the calendar view is perfect for quickly visualizing availability.

Cons

Some customization options feel a bit limited, especially when it comes to branding and more complex booking rules. It would also be helpful to have more advanced reporting or analytics features built in.

It has been positive, although I was hoping with the transition to Allbooked, it would gain benefits not previously available. Unfortunately, it seems like it has only lost access to benefits available in the Skedda version, without gaining any benefits of note for Allbooked. Additionally, the cost continues to rise without any notable improvements.

Pros

The ease of the UX for both myself and users, it is easy with the App, website, and all the different views within each.

Cons

The integrated billing / customer payment options are very limited. If you want online payments integrated in the system, you have to have customers pay for each reservation one at a time whether you have them pay upfront or at a later date. It would be so much better if they had the option to pay for all of their unpaid usage in a single transaction. It would be even better if the system could create a customer invoice.

Their set up required significant workarounds to meet our needs (i.e. to have a tutor reserve a space on their own, they had to be added as a "family" and "tutor" and then have each student created and added to the family and their caseload before they could reserve a space. Where as Allbooked/Skedda they reserve the space and a custom question they complete during the booking process provides the student information.

great customer service. their team is super patient when working with someone who is not an IT professional.

Pros

It's pretty straightforward, simple, navigable. we've been using the platform for years as our headcount and footprint has grown.

Cons

the microsoft/outlook integration is such a headache when staff changes occur. syncing isn't as reliable.

The Staff have been so willing to help us get up and running. They were constantly checking in to ensure our needs were being met.

Pros

The attention we received from the staff and the follow-up were amazing. Skedda's AllBooked was the only product that we found that could do what we needed.

Cons

A little more expensive than we would like... We are a Canadian organization and the fees are in USD.
