Pros How it's designed is pretty good and it's very easy to use it exceeded my expectations. It is drastically cut down on my estimating time and turning over estimates the customer has become much easier. It's definitely help me make more money and show me that I was leaving money on the table. Cons There's quite a bit of updates and sometimes there's lag and it's hard to separate different projects within the same job. I have sold 5x more jobs usung handoff then when i was doing traditional estimates Pros The ability to have a professional quote drawn up within minutes. I can send it while i am still in the clients driveway. Cons If it does not move out of estimate or if it is approved i can not archive it unless it is invoiced. Cons They pick up prices from a different stores the ones I choose like this I say a product from Sherwin-Williams they sent me to Lowe’s and that’s the one I don’t use. Cons The app crashes from time it time and freezes. The is ai a little slow at times. Sometimes that’s app will just constantly load and u have to close it and relaunch. Although my experience is limited I have been around the block a few times in this application is top-notch. Pros I love the intuitiveness of the application. I prefer using it on a mobile device, Handoff has gone to Great strides too make their tool work on mobile devices. Cons Originally I would have said did not work well I'm over devices or there were no change orders but the company continues to impress me by diving into their weaker areas and bolstering them up. New updates coming all the time and responsiveness to requests pretty good! Great to have a tool designed for mobile with the right amount of features and not over bloated. Pros Ease with which you can generate a quote in addition to being able to provide specifics and defaults for your particular business and area. Cons Still needs the project management features. Site visit notes and photos, ability to take photos of multiple receipts and add them to an invoice (and then mark them as billed so you don’t double bill). I'm looking forward to seeing their additions to handle project management, not only the estimating piece. Pros WIth Handoff, I'm able to confidently push out estimates which used to be my number one pain point of being a general contractor/real estate investor. Manual estimates would take me 2-5 hours and now I can knock them out in 15-30 minutes. I send out A TON more estimates now which leads to more projects and more income! Cons Sometimes the estimates come back extremely high - for instance to install and paint 8 doors, Handoff came up with a bid for $7,500. The customers would laugh at me, and I'd probably get a bad rep if I sent that in.
