My overall experience has been good. I am happy that my clients get multiple reminders about their appointments. This makes my clients happy. Therefore it makes me happy!

Pros

The reason I chose to use Breely is because the notifications that are sent to my clients tell them when their appointment is, where it is, and what it is for. This is very important to me. My customers stay informed about their appointments easily. The price is great compared to other scheduling options. Also, being able to customize my reminders is a plus!

Cons

The thing I like least is that there is not an easy way to repeat appointments. I have clients that come at certain times every week or month. If I could do a repeat appointment for a year at the time it would make scheduling easier. I wish there was an app. I can only see one day at the time with my phone so a tablet or computer is necessary for scheduling and searching for appointments.

Overall experience is fair. I will be cancelling our Breely subscription after this month as the benefit for a paid service is not present when it does not work across all devices and customer support is minimal.

Pros

Similar to other scheduling apps for less cost, but there are definitely kinks within the system that need to be worked on and features that can be added for a better user experience.

Cons

Biggest con is customer support is highly lacking, especially for a paid subscription. The link to scheduling didn't work on many mobile scheduling devices as reported by many customers. Support said they could not duplicate the issue, yet issue was widespread. Communication stopped from "support" after saying they couldn't duplicate despite reaching out and sending screenshots of the issue. Interface for building scheduling could use some improvements for a more intuitive expeirence.

Honestly, I expected to take a couple weeks to switch over, but it took a fraction of the time and it was up and running and my clients were using it. I am so grateful I switched!

Pros

It is flexible, easy to use and most importantly, effortless for my clients! The price is perfect, but it’s more about how customizable it is and how flexible it is! To say that it’s worth it is an understatement!

Cons

One thing I wish was easier was being able to set up products. Although you can do it, it doesn’t really fit with how I would like to be able to organize and track products. I don’t need anything complicated, but I wish Breely did this because I know that they would do it well!

I love that it's an all in one deal with being able to send clients to set up an appointment, charge them, and send them emails all in one. Super user friendly for somebody who doesn't always pick up these things easily.

Pros

The AI feature saves me so much time! I can just ask it to make forms for me ect., and it does it just like an assistant would.

Cons

Having to have a separate place for a forms and events seems redundant and took too much time having to use them together. Seems like integrating them into one thing would make things quicker.

I've been a Breely user for not even a month and can say that I'm so happy I found this service. As a small business owner, I have found it invaluable!

Pros

I am new to Breely and have been amazed with the many things I'm able to do for my business besides just scheduling. The service has allowed me to create my own intake and consent forms, which can be automated to be sent at the time of scheduling. I've also set up classes as events and am able to accept payment at the time of scheduling as well as create automated emails with this service. The best part of Breely is that you're able to open a free account to learn the service to work with the scheduling and forms to see if it fits your needs!

Cons

There is a small learning curve associated with learning how to create forms, but being able to customize my own intake forms is priceless.

Really positive so far. We're pleased to have made the switch from Acuity and look forward to seeing the product grow with us.

Pros

Simple calendar layout, easy form creation, excellent customer-facing experience for using things like packages and managing appointments.

Cons

We'd like if there was an app as it would allow for easier event management by our contractors for events. We are also a little uncertain about the product's longevity simply given that it isn't well known and hasn't been around long. I think the AI form building is incredible, however it's at the detriment of being less fluent in navigating the software personally.

Overall, the product itself seems as if it worth the money. I would like to use it for my booking and calendar organization. The only drawback is not receiving communication from the creators when asking specific questions around billing.

Pros

It is user friendly, and the AI makes it easy to ask questions and get answers quickly. The set up is quick and very straightforward. Definitely something I want to use with my entire team.

Cons

Trying to connect to an actual human being to answer some questions regarding billing. I sent multiple emails but received no communication back and it has delayed my process and consideration of purchase.

Overall, Breely has way more more pros that I actually need on a day to day basis, and just 1 con that I can ignore for now. I would recommend switching to Breely.

Pros

Breely is an easy to use but advanced appointment booking and management platform. I was looking for a booking platform that would help me use Square payments, allow to create different availability for each team member, create custom emails, be good value for my money, and have an excellent customer support. I found all this and more in Breely! I can have all I was looking for, plus create gift vouchers, discount codes for my clients, and create forms like T&C's agreements, waiting lists or email preferences. I am very happy with Breely, and my clients noticed the difference!

Cons

One thing that I didn't like was that in order to automate newsletter submissions, I would need to use a paid subscription to Zapier, so Zapier would use webhook to extract my clients data from Breely into MailerLite. Unfortunately, webhooks in Zapier are only on a paid plan. So for now I transfer my client's data manually, but my husband is a programmer, so hopefully he will create a free workaround for me.

As mentioned earlier, this is the only product we’ve managed to find that suits our unique needs. The customisation is very strong.

Pros

We are a small online business, we tried all sorts of scheduling platforms on the market, free or paid, but nothing met our unique requirements. Breely is the only software that managed to tick all of our checkboxes. Very high customisation! And more importantly, at a very affordable monthly rate!!

Cons

I personally think the user interface can be improved. As a product designer myself, I can see Breely’s strong UX centric values demonstrated in the well sort out product. All the functionalities are there, but visual it can look a bit nicer! Also, would be great if the Breely branding can be removed.

Overall I think this is an excellent tool for a really great price. I've been recommending it to my therapist friends.

Pros

For the price, I think this scheduler does almost everything I need it to. I am a massage therapist, and being able to have HIPAA-compliant forms is a must, and thankfully, Breely accommodates that. The form-making process is easy and intuitive. There are some basic CRM features included like follow-up emails and texts, which are a nice added touch. As a sole proprietor, Breely has been a great tool.

Cons

The customer support is AI only, which became frustrating when I had an account issue that was limiting my customer count. I had to interact with the AI a lot in order to finally be given information about putting in a support ticket. Once I put the ticket in, I never got a confirmation that the issue was addressed, but I noticed that it was resolved, and I was actually credited, which was appreciated. So if you are diligent, you will be helped, but troubleshooting was not as seamless as it could be.

It’s very user friendly and the AI features are accurate and helpful. I was easily able to link it to my website for clients to book, and link to my calendar for easy scheduling.

Cons

I think the payment linking options could be better, but other than that I have only positive comments.

Super easy to use, the reminders sent to customers are excellent. I love that you can offer different payment options on different bookable offerings. Just love this app so much, it's saved us so much in admin time and increased our bookings.

Pros

The ability to restrict 'resources' on the calendar. We run workshops and only have one teaching area available at a time, so this feature helps us offer as many spots as possible, but prevents overbooking from occurring. It saves heaps of time in admin!

Cons

I'd like more ability to edit the look of the emails sent to customers, to add branding and custom brand colours would be great.

If I weren't tired of moving my clients around I would switch. Breely was Acuity and I followed. I'm sick of shopping and relearning platforms so I'm upset but here..

Pros

I liked when we could speak with a person. I wish it cost more so we could. It's almost "too" cheap.

Cons

It's all bot, no humans now. Asking for work-arounds to a bot named Fin goes nowhere, even when you say you need more help. No one responds!

Pros

Cons

I noticed that there is not an app for Breely yet, which adds a step to check your account and appointments. Would be nice to have an app.

There was learning curve with this system but very nice overall. Breely does provide a lot of functions with the free version that a lot of the other CRMs do not.

Pros

The customer support is great! I am new to Breely and still trying to figure everything out. I had an issue with merging accounts and reached out to you guys on Saturday with the expectation of receiving a response on Monday but I just got a resolution to my issue by \[sensitive content hidden\] who walked me thru how to obtain my other accounts. Thanks you so much!

Cons

I think there should be some YouTube video out there or on your site to help newbies common issue that regularly occur.

Generally, my experience has involved a learning curve, but for the most part has been positive. The main disappointment and frustration is with one of the \[sensitive content hidden\] .I sent a very thorough message going over the relevant portion of my experience, asking several explicit questions, pointing out the potential bugs, and tossing out some feature requests. \[sensitive content hidden\] ignored what I actually said in favor of a 4-sentence response telling me Breely may not be right for me by citing inaccurate reasoning and just generally tried pushing me away from the app. I remain absolutely dumbfounded. When I pointed this out and requested my questions be answered and bugs addressed, he addressed only 1 of 2 glitches and technically answered 2 of 4 questions, except--importantly--he went backwards with one of the responses. Basically, that question started with the other f\[sensitive content hidden\], who had already provided info leading to my current, follow-up question. Instead of seeing this in the chain, \[sensitive content hidden\] provided useless info I had already seen and asked further about. Who knows when/how this will end because I'm not currently feeling supported.

Pros

I've been incredibly impressed by the overall robustness, especially the ability to maintain not just more classic scheduling but subscriptions, packages, and classes in one space.

Cons

It's clunky and not always the most intuitive. The conditional logic, while appreciated compared with so many platforms without it, is nonetheless quite limited and an incredibly unfriendly UX. I've also already encountered a couple glitches. And Breely's lacking several features that are key for me and, I imagine, many other industries, such as the ability to set a meeting as a call, offer location options without creating separate forms, or any type of meeting poll.

Haven't completely made the switch--I'm currently phasing out my Calendly. I'd have to pay more to access certain key features and find another solution for many needs. So even where Breely isn't the 100% best, it's closer to my full needs and an incredibly reasonable price.

I WAS FORCED TO CHOOSE SPECIFIC PRODUCTS DESPITE NONE OF THE ONES I EXPLORED BEING AN OPTION. I've explored many of the non-mainstream options currently on the market. At least in my initial cutthroat "explore further" vs. "no thanks" review, it was clear Breely had the most to offer / is still new enough that it will only grow / refine from here.

Hire a consultant to set it up. I did that with both Acuity and Breely, and it saved me loads of time and tech frustration.

Pros

I’m loving Breely’s fresh, modern interface. It feels light-years ahead of the bloated setup I left behind with Acuity. As a coach and consultant, the automations and forms are a perfect fit for my business—we’ve streamlined so much follow-up that our client concierge role is almost obsolete.

Cons

One heads-up: when I traveled, it defaulted to the local time zone instead of sticking with my EST setting. I just escalated it, and based on Breely’s usual responsiveness, I expect a fix soon.

My overall experience with Breely is positive and well-received. What keeps me using Breely is the seriousness in adding features to the wants of the clients.

Pros

What I liked about Breely is the customer service. They have responded to me while also working on features that I would like to have added.

Cons

The lack of updates on features introduced is what I liked the least. Updates on features would be great for users, as it feels like Breely is constantly growing.

Breely has been a helpful tool during the early stages of my business. It’s clean, straightforward, and does exactly what I need it to without being overwhelming.

Pros

I love how simple and easy Breely is to use. It was recommended to me by someone on Upwork, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed the experience, especially as someone launching a new business.

Cons

No major complaints so far. I think some minor design tweaks could make the platform even more intuitive, but overall it works well.

I was scrambling to find an alternative to Acuity Scheduling after Acuity removed several crucial features that my business relied on. Breely was a lifesaver! I would say that it's not just an alternative to Acuity, but a major upgrade from Acuity as well. The Breely team is quick, efficient, and I can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. I'm thrilled about the waitlist feature (previously, I was manually emailing clients about new spots opening up)! Being able to use conditional logic in the intake forms is a major innovation - I have tested out an absurd number of scheduling software platforms over the past decade, and haven't seen any others that offer conditional logic in the same way. I also have somewhat complicated hours and availability, and love how easy it was to configure my availability exactly the way I needed to within Breely.

Pros

The Breely team is not only incredibly responsive, but also quick to resolve issues and roll out improvements. I love how customizable Breely is, and really appreciate the clean look and feel on the client-facing side too.

Cons

No cons so far! Breely is a bit newer, so it may not have some features offered by other scheduling platforms yet, but they are catching up quick.

Acuity used to be the best, but they have rolled out a series of truly baffling "updates" over the last year (adding extra steps, friction, and confusion to the client-side checkout process, removing the ability for clients to redeem packages and gift cards with their email addresses, making the typography on intake forms harder to read, etc).

It is working for what I need it to work for right now with my small single person business, but I can see how once I need to use it more frequently it may not meet my needs.

Pros

It functions well for simple sign ups and payment. I was able to figure out how to share the sign up link and use it to successfully schedule my online class.

Cons

It is not super user friendly-especially figuring out how to share sign up links and add waivers to the sign up.

I pivoted from Acuity Scheduling to Breely after nearly 8 years with AS and my only regret is not doing it sooner. It was a massive undertaking to move my small business and all of its scheduling data but the team at Breely was super helpful and supportive throughout the process. We love the customizable intake forms that include e-signatures and the wait list features! The transition for our clients has been SO smooth that many of them don't even realize we changed to a new scheduling provider.

Pros

The support team at Breely is fantastic. It's a small but mighty squad and it may take a day for them to get back to you, but you get actual support tailored to your situation (nothing copy/pasted or AI generated). They also have weekly "office hours" where you can get live support on a Google Meet call.

Cons

Breely is quite new, so some features don't exist yet or aren't fully developed. However, the team is constantly pushing out updates, and those updates include small "quality of life" improvements, not just shiny new features. They're also very upfront and honest about when to expect changes, unlike other programs I've used that say a feature or fix is "in the works" but never comes.

I cannot say enough good things about Breely. I used Acuity Scheduling for 7 years before switching over. Acuity was the best scheduling app on the market for years. It was the only app I could find that allowed the flexibility I needed, but it has major shortcomings. My biggest complaint was its reporting features, or lack thereof. It "integrates" with Square, if you don't care to know what items you sold. Breely allows me to get complete sales reports without any extra work. When a customer buys something on Breely, Square knows what it was. There are more upgrades in Breely than I can list here- but some big ones are: forms that make every aspect of your events, resources, and staff availability completely bespoke for your business; amazing customer service (I have never had better service anywhere); killer reporting and exporting of data that will allow me to make decisions about my business where I was operating blindly before. Smaller features, but still appreciated: We have waitlists now for when classes are full, which reduces manual work for me; packages, coupons, and gift certificates are clear and are assigned to customers' emails so they don't need to find or remember any codes, staff reminders for their events that reduce the chances of missing appointments, and more.

Pros

It would be difficult to pick one thing that I like the most about Breely, but the ability to customize everything for my specific business is a game changer. I dreamed for years about having the flexibilty that Breely offers. Breely's personalization is like having a skilled developer working on building a scheduling app just for your business- something I could never have believed would be accessible to a small business like mine.

Cons

If I have to name something, I would say that setting it up is a little more involved because of how flexible it is, but in my eyes that learning curve is WORTH EVERY MINUTE. The customer service is also stellar, and made the switch very easy and smooth.
