January 15, 2025 5.0 Im using Logmanager for many years, as a customer and as a partner. I know i can deploy this tool anywhere, because it's always beneficial. Pros Easy to deploy, use and manage. This tool really helps in your organizations. Manage your logs at one place - it will broader your security and you will be able to understand your IT. For someone "the IT/security flow ends with logs", but with Logmanager everything started. Cons There is only one cons - it's highly addictive. Provides log filtering, root-cause analysis and basic SIEM functions. Logmanager is user-friendly with an predefined interface dashboards and log parseres, also with option to customize them as well (using Blockly tool). Installation and deployment is quick and easy and it’s available for both options physical or virtual appliances. Logmanager best fits as foundation for IT system management, especially for small-medium enterprises. Cons Still just basic automatic log analysis, more out of the box would be welcome. I can get quick insights into system performance, security, and compliance. - Simple customization. I can add custom parsers or modify dashboards easily. - Deployment and Configuration is rapid. I can start monitoring the environment very quickly. - Intuitive User Interface. I can use both basic and advanced features easily. - The Support Team is Outstanding. I like the support team. They speak Czech, they are very professional, accommodating, and helpful. - Scalability and Reliability. Considering its price, I expected some limitations. I was very positively surprised. - The tool is Cost-Effective. Considering its features and moderate pricing, Logmanager offers excellent value for money. Pros I like that Logmanager has a large portfolio of log parsers so you do not have to write your own. Logmanager has multiple predefined alerts I am using to be aware of critical events happening in my infrastructure. Cons If a device reports logs in an obscure format that is not supported, the log is parsed only partially, and I need to write a parser to parse it completely. The Logmanager team also did a great job with documentation, making it easy to find my way around.
