None of them fit my needs, so I left the files previously stored in my account and download them when necessary. Pros I received a free Dropbox account and used it to backup my important files. Cons I didn't like that I was notified to choose from a set of plans after a year. Each plan offered more than what I needed for a cost if I wanted to add more files. Pros Dropbox provides an easy way to backup files and photos, and share them. Cons Unfortunately we were sharing with a group and someone dumped a lot of photos on and now I can't access them unless I have a paid account. Pros It is easy to use and keeps a backup of files in the cloud that one can revert back to or recover in the event of an accidental deletion or loss of files. Not much too it. Cons Not the best ultimate backup or complete protection and disaster recovery solution like Veeam or other more comprehensive overall solutions. To me, it's a trustworthy backup system with longevity. Once my computer hard drive got too full, I was able to offload and store the files I no longer access or don't access often to the Dropbox website cloud. This way, these lesser-opened files are still in a place I trust but off my computer. Having a backup of my important writing and business files is essential to my peace of mind, and having a place to store files off my hard drive helps my computer to function more efficiently. Cons Photo uploads take a long time, and I've often opened my Dropbox app to find that there are thousands of photos still syncing. Photo backup is one area I don't have as much confidence in when it comes to Dropbox. Therefore, I purchased more storage in iCloud to ensure that my phone photos are backed up.
