We are using it in software that requires users to respond to complex and customized surveys. Despite the numerous complexities, SurveyJS manages to meet all our needs. For the few features not covered, it was enough to open a ticket, and customer support resolved the issue in no time. Their efficiency and responsiveness are truly remarkable. Cons I find it difficult to answer this question. If I have to point out a flaw, it would be the documentation. Although it is well-structured and offers many demos to try directly on the site, I have sometimes struggled to find information on more specific aspects and had to rely on the help desk. However, considering the breadth of features offered, it might be appropriate for the documentation not to be overly detailed to maintain a balance and not overwhelm the user with too much information. Data Stays With Us" November 2, 2025 4.0 Before, we used external links for surveys. This was bad user experience and big security risk. Now, surveys are inside our app, and all data is in our database. Security team is happy. We also automated our support ticket system, which saves much time. Pros I like full control of our data. It stays in our own database, which is very good for security. Integration is easy, we put it right inside our company app. The best part is automation. We use onComplete trigger to automatically create support tickets from bad feedback. Cons It is not for non-technical team. You 100% need a good developer to install, setup, and connect everything. Pros The product has value for money. I have been using SurveyJS since the inception and I can only say every time I use the new version I get to see the feature customer really needs. I don't have build custom plugins. Even when I have to SurveyJS team has made it easy to build it. The product has come long way. The fact that with just single page you can build the entire form without needing to switching to different pages is certainly a game changer. Also, the fact that we can preview, see the JSON output, support internationalisation is all great features. The best part I like is the way team responds to a query. I send a question and I have an answer within 24 hours. I have never experienced this sort of support from anyone else before. Also they not only answer question but I also give samples which are very helpful to see the results. Also, if there is any issue, they prioritise quickly and get it done based on the merit of the request. Cons I wish to have some features maybe something SurveyJS can look at this in the future. 1. Angular Survey bundle is quite big. If there is any way SurveyJS can look at ways to split the big survey core into more modules and we can import modules and include only those that are needed immediately and others we lazily load may help getting a good Lighthouse report. 2. Support for Analytics within SurveyJS 3. Survey Comparison - Comparing two surveys and providing rich experience similar to git compare 4. Providing linters for Surveys - In case users are not designing forms in a right way or it's becoming way too complex, maybe if there is anyway SurveyJS can indicate it, that'll help designers who are not developers really.
