It’s a reliable platform that delivers a professional webinar experience from start to finish. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to use and great for engaging large audiences. Pros As the VP at Surmount Roofing, I’ve found Cvent Webinar to be a reliable and professional-grade platform that makes hosting webinars effortless. What stood out the most for me was the ease of setup and the polished attendee experience—everything from registration to follow-up was seamless. It’s extremely effective for presenting to both internal teams and external partners. The automated reminders, branded templates, and strong attendee tracking made it easy to measure engagement and impact. It gave our roofing business a highly professional image during presentations, which is critical for trust-building in our industry. Cons While Cvent Webinar is a powerful tool, the learning curve was a bit steep at the beginning, especially for team members who aren’t as tech-savvy. Some of the backend setup options could be more intuitive, particularly when customizing branded elements or integrating with other platforms. Also, the cost can add up if you're not using the full suite of features regularly. It’s definitely best suited for teams that run webinars frequently and have the resources to manage them. It is intuitive to learn, especially if you've done other virtual events in the Attendee Hub. Pros They have continued to invest in the product since the beginning and I really appreciate the continued improvements. It is miles above Zoom as a product - we use it for sponsored webinars and the sponsors frequently comment that it is a quality product. Cons At the beginning it lacked some customization options (particularly in reporting) but they heard the feedback and improved it. It saves us time, energy and confusion. It's easy to use and the basic features are customizable. It is lacking more robust features, however we knew that going into it. I look forward to seeing where CVENT Webinar is in 2 years with any updates made based on feedback presented. Pros I like how easy this platform is to use. Its saved me hours of time after switching my simple events from Attendee Hub to CVENT webinar. Basic event setup is just a few minutes if I've collected all my details prior. Cons I do feel its lacking in some features I've thought to be essential. We have a major spam issue with many attendees jumping into our webinars who are not associated with the G2M we're targeting. I very much liked how Attendee Hub allowed black listing of certain emails/domains. Also, I would like to see my events be auto added to the attendees calendars similar to the new feature launched in Summer 2024. I feel confident with it for my webinar Pros Easy to use. Backend is userfriendly. On the frontend it looks great and pro. Cons The settings for the speakers. If you forget to add the speaker to the attendee hub they don't have the button to join and this feature is a bit hidden. The speaker test are tricky and if you want to skip the "presentation" feature it may have incident on audio or video of the speaker.
