I have seen some amazing examples of other Leonardo AI users, and their sample works are absolutely amazing. So it gives you alot of ideas and inspiration on what is possible with the tool. Pros Leonardo AI has some really great image creation. They do lets you work on a free version to get a feel for the tool as well. The image generation is very realistic, and it takes prompts direction very well. Cons I do find the AI tool does have some hallucinations that can be tough to power through. Sometimes you need to just take your work, and start a new project. On the downside, you still lose full credits and must use more when random aspects are altered by it ignoring the prompt. Pros The quality of the images are very good. The image generation is pretty easy to prompt, and get close to what your looking for. Cons When one gets the image almost right, and it randomly starts adding random items. It is still full credits even if the promot was not followed, and any corrections cost credits as well. You can select what was wrong and write about it. There is an option to give feedback, but get nothing in return. They have alot of tutorials to assist you as you learn how to use the different features. Pros I like that they offer a variety of generation models and that you are able to use what you create for commerical usuage. Cons One of the things I least like about Leonardo AI is that if your looking for a specific example of the output from one of the models there is no search option. Pros I like the ability to generate multiple high quality images simultaneously, at least 8; you can choose from several models, there are many style options, prompt enhancement, plus there are many options for the aspect ratio you'd like; another huge feature is the software's ability to deliver consistent characters. One huge aspect of this program is the ability to customize images with a feature called: "Realtime Canvas" which essentially lets you freehand sketch and enter a prompt to rapidly create character/environment concepts. Cons Sometimes the canvas editor does not always produce the results you want, and it takes several attempts at inpainting and prompt modification to get what you need. It saves me a lot of time drafting new concepts for clients. Then once I have approval, I bring them into Photoshop for more polish. Pros I've tried Midjourney and Photoshop, and I find Leonardo to be the best. The free version is quite generous, and the paid version is worth the money if you need higher quality generations. Cons Regardless of how detailed a prompt to go along with an image reference is, you'll likely still need to bring Leonardo images into Photoshop to edit it. It won't be replacing Photoshop anytime soon, since you need it to edit extra arms, tails, eyeballs, or weird objects in the background out. I have tried some other generative AIs and the results were sub standard. I like the fact Leonardo usually generates something that is clean and that can actually be used even if it is not always exactly what you want, you still have usable variations. Overall, I highly recommend the paid version if you can afford it and make use of it. Pros \- Many models available to generate images of all kinds - The sketch to image feature is not something I used but for those who can draw, it is a game changer. - Free tokens available daily to generate and experiment - Many plans available for different budgets. But the video generation still needs improvement. The video gets distorted as the person moves. I tried to animate a child playing piano, and at some moments, the video was distorted and did not look very natural. NightCaffe can also provide good images but the images from Leonardo are more realistic (photography like).
