Labor guides are great and repair procedures are accurate for most vehicles. The forum side of it also helps from time to time Pros All data is easy to use and a must have for any professional. Cons All data wiring diagrams are not the best. They have gotten better but certain makes it hard to follow them as the oem diagrams are the same way. Owner Automotive Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Most Unethical Company I have worked with" May 29, 2025 1.0 This company scams you out of your money, they promise the world and say that it automatically scrapes your estimate to increase your ticket size giving average increases on how the service will pay for its self. After I signed up they gave zero support and when I asked how to scrub my estimate to make sure we were missing anything from the OEM standards they their software didn't do that and I would have to manually decide if our estimate needed clips or not after reading the entire OEM process. I would never suggest this company to anyone. When I called them to cancel the subscription they refused to cancel my account and said theres nothing they will do and I have to pay for a full 12 months even though they gave me false promises. Pros I don't have one think I can say that is good about this company, they give false promises and have horrible customer service. Cons They promise that their software automatically integrates with CCC and says that it scrubs your estimates and automatically gives suggestions on how to increase your ticket value based on their "estimated increase from other customers". This is a complete lie and now they wont cancel my subscription and says that I locked in for 12 months....... It is an essential tool for any serious mechanic. Despite the high price, the level of detail and reliable technical data makes every repair much faster and more professional. Pros I really like the massive database of accurate wiring diagrams and OEM repair procedures. It provides exactly what you need for complex diagnostics, saving a lot of time under the hood. Cons The search interface can feel a bit old and clunky. Sometimes it takes too many clicks to find a specific part location, and the subscription cost is quite high for smaller shops. Pros Digital video inspection, was probably the only good part I enjoyed about ALLDATA, the shop manager program wasn’t very good, the price for everything they have is extremely overpriced. 400 plus dollars a month for basic features isn’t very good for a brand new shop . Cons Prices were way higher than any other shop manager program we found after researching more into the software for the auto industry. Its a quick trouble shooting guide for intermittent issues whereas the technians that are paid flat rate do not get paid to diagnose warranty issues so they dont want to have to spend alot of time trying to verify an intermittent issue. The drawings are clear and easy to understand and the wiring diagrams are fantastic with detail. Pros The information in the repair guides is very accurate and the drawings are very easy to read. Yes it has color wiring diagrams. Everyone has THAT now. But with Alldata when you "click" on a wire in a circuit, it not only highlights that wire throught the whole circuit, it opens up ALL the other pages that wire is on. So you can print the WHOLE circuit without searching thru multiple windows. The user interface is different than S3000 and classic AllData Pro, but still has that same familiar feel. However the global search FINALLY works! In short I am really loving the newest version Pros The new Alldata Repair is a HUGE improvement over the original & S3000. Yes it has color wiring diagrams.
