You can consult everything about DTCs, TSBs, General and specific characteristics about all automotive systems of almost all brands, Ideal for diagnostic tasks, repair, and maintenance, as well as technician references and shop procedures, Easy to use and browse because of its nice look and feel, It allows you to check the estimated periods of works, Available in multiple languages, Interactives schemas and It has support for mobile devices what makes easier the job for technicians,

Cons

The last versions just have online access, The license can seem too expensive, Some vehicles don't have total support.

Overall ALLDATA is a must have for any professional. Labor guides are great and repair procedures are accurate for most vehicles. The forum side of it also helps from time to time

Pros

All data is easy to use and a must have for any professional.

Cons

All data wiring diagrams are not the best. They have gotten better but certain makes it hard to follow them as the oem diagrams are the same way.

it gives quick access to clear, reliable repair information. When listed properly. The organized layout and detailed diagrams make it easier to understand complex systems, and having factory‑approved procedures all in one place helps repairs go more smoothly

helpful for car repair because it gives you accurate, factory‑approved information straight from the vehicle manufacturers. It includes repair steps, torque specs, wiring diagrams, and service details for many makes and models, old and new. The wiring diagrams are clear and easy to follow, which makes electrical work faster. It also provides Technical Service Bulletins and recall information so you can quickly see known issues. ALLDATA includes labor times and estimating tools that make it easier to create fair and consistent quotes. Since everything is well‑organized and easy to search, you spend less time looking for information and are more likely to fix the problem correctly the first time.

Cons

Certain models or years may have missing details, incomplete diagrams, or outdated information, especially on less common vehicles. The search function doesn’t always pull up what you need right away, so you may have to try different keywords.

I enjoy it a lot even though it is expensive i would say the Oem data benefits it since it provides a lot of information on analytics for compatability and monitor performance and it's coverage .

Pros

i like the oem data that allows me to track milage and its information on comapny factory direct repair and it's fast direct repair information

It is Pricey especially in smaller repair shops and the customer support is not reloiable a lot so that will present another issue .

My experience has been great. It is an essential tool for any serious mechanic. Despite the high price, the level of detail and reliable technical data makes every repair much faster and more professional.

Pros

I really like the massive database of accurate wiring diagrams and OEM repair procedures. It provides exactly what you need for complex diagnostics, saving a lot of time under the hood.

Cons

The search interface can feel a bit old and clunky. Sometimes it takes too many clicks to find a specific part location, and the subscription cost is quite high for smaller shops.

### "Most Unethical Company I have worked with"

This company scams you out of your money, they promise the world and say that it automatically scrapes your estimate to increase your ticket size giving average increases on how the service will pay for its self. After I signed up they gave zero support and when I asked how to scrub my estimate to make sure we were missing anything from the OEM standards they their software didn't do that and I would have to manually decide if our estimate needed clips or not after reading the entire OEM process. I would never suggest this company to anyone. When I called them to cancel the subscription they refused to cancel my account and said theres nothing they will do and I have to pay for a full 12 months even though they gave me false promises.

Pros

I don't have one think I can say that is good about this company, they give false promises and have horrible customer service.

Cons

They promise that their software automatically integrates with CCC and says that it scrubs your estimates and automatically gives suggestions on how to increase your ticket value based on their "estimated increase from other customers". This is a complete lie and now they wont cancel my subscription and says that I locked in for 12 months.......

I thought is was desent until I started trying other software system, ARI and tekmetric, shop monkey,they were all a fraction of the price , way more features included .

Pros

Digital video inspection, was probably the only good part I enjoyed about ALLDATA, the shop manager program wasn’t very good, the price for everything they have is extremely overpriced. 400 plus dollars a month for basic features isn’t very good for a brand new shop .

Cons

Prices were way higher than any other shop manager program we found after researching more into the software for the auto industry.

before i stopped it was good , but then i never needed people contact but when i stopped because they could not deliver in our country enimore they will not stop writing money of your credit card i am busy with that for months now and they will not sokve the problem

It was ok. Not a great tool for if in a hurry. Software not a 100% accurate. Depth of coverage is thorough.

Pros

Very complete of OEM required repair procedures. Great wiring diagrams. Good bulletins for most makes and models

Cons

A costly investment steep learning curve and sometimes slow to load. Some Diagrams can be blurry support can be slow

My favorite part of AllData was the diagnostic software. If there is anyway I lack in working on vehicles, diagnostics is it. It truly helped me and broke it down to help better understand.

Cons

There is nothing I disliked about AllData. It has a very wide variety of vehicles, domestic and international.

ALLDATA is an amazing program. We used to have different programs for invoices, to look up info, now with AllData its easy, all in one program, saves, stores and keeps all of the information I need about customers, parts, orders, everything. So easy to use

Cons

The only con is the price, it is a bit expensive, but it does make things so much easier.

It is more practical, helpful and useful.

Alldata repair is a very important tool we use here at our shop. We almost always base ourselves off of the time indicated and use it to review the procedures. We also base our maintenance recommendations on the service tables in Alldata Repair. Our technicians also use this system a lot. Overall the Alldata Repair system is very functional and we will continue to use it.

Cons

We no longer use Alldata Manage at our shop. Although it was not a bad system, we felt at times it was too slow with little room for improvement. Often times the whole site would be down and we were unable to create estimates or process invoices, tasks that are necessary here.

I have had to contact customer support numerous times for various issues (each of those being inconvenient but pleasant given their helpfulness) so I'm not a huge fan of Alldata but will continue to use it for a short time in hopes that they update the desktop version.

Pros

It was very easy to implement and their customer support team is incredibly helpful.

Cons

It is frustrating that the desktop version only goes to year 2013 vehicles. It is very inconvenient. I'm not a fan of the options for running reports either.

Pros

It makes it much easier to quote repair estimates. Allows you to luck up labor times, and most OEM parts pricing by vin.

Cons

Slower to update new vehicle information. (ie 2022 models, new models)

Overall Alldata is a straight forward and consistent labor guide that is easy for anyone to use.

Pros

I enjoy the ease of use Alldata has compared to other repair programs. I also enjoy that Alldata gives you OEM part numbers on the same page as it shows you labor times for that part.

Cons

Some things on Alldata are sometimes scattered. There will be multiple links for the same repair and sometimes only one link will show the actual labor time.

Pros

Easy to use for diagnosing problems with vehicles. The software offers step by step picture diagrams when fixing a vehicle. The pricing for the hourly rates for labor is useful when giving quotes to customers.

Cons

The software is a little pricey to use, especially if you're a small shop owner. The software is not 100% accurate, but for the most part it works.

Being able to quickly access a hug database of everything i need to know to do repairs on any make and model without having to waste time looking through a book or using trial and error

Pros

I love the deitailed step by step instruction it gives you to do anything from replacing brake calipers to full engine rebuilds. it gives you torque specs, fluid and capacity specs as well as speciality tools and procedures

Cons

some of the exploded diagram pictures are blurry or hard to understand. not all information is avaliable on every part of a vehicle. it doesnt have newest car information
