Pros One of the most important characteristics is that its cloud solution allows you to manage everything related to the educational processes of an institution. It has been adopted for its ease of use, and has an Analytics module for strategic management that guides managers in growth based on decision-making with valuable information. With AdministrationPlus, we can schedule classes, manage attendance, update the web grade book, report cards, admissions, library and in general all the aspects that are used in the administrative procedures of a school. So many have been educators that they understand our needs. Pros We have been with Admin Plus for more than 23 years. I like the flexibility of the fields and the Contact DB integration. The newer AdminPlus.com has wonderful custom features and is easy to use. The report-writing feature is coming along well and the import and export/Excel is very helpful to us. The Support staff have always been very helpful and quick to respond. Cons The Classic version was outdated, particularly with its Excel version, but the AdminPlus.com version appears to have taken feedback and improved it greatly. They are always responsive and help even when it has been operator error. lol Pros With the addition of AdminPlus.com, the system is easy to navigate and use. Making changes to the system takes less time than when we used AdminPlus Classic. Cons In AdminPlus.com not all the reports we use are integrated and the report forms don't work for us right now. The big issue is the custom report card that was created for us by Rediker hasn't been made available in AdminPlus.com. No APNotify in AdminPlus.com. School Administrator Education Management Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "AdminPlus--An SIS Transition Worth Every Penny" December 8, 2025 5.0 Our school’s overall experience has been great. We had used our previous SIS for 10 years and were somewhat dead set against changing. No school wants to transition something as detailed and in-depth as their students' files and data. We were not satisfied with our prior SIS’s price and what it offered but also didn’t want the hassle of changing over to something new. I don’t know that we have researched something as much as we did for a new SIS platform. Rediker consistently appeared to be the best option, so we made the leap. Rediker made the transfer process easy (although it is a bit in-depth, which just made the process flawless). Their training is superb, and customer support acted as if we were the only customers they were dealing with. Our entire administration team is beyond happy with the product; we are actually happy with all of the Rediker line we use (web design and hosting, teacher evaluator, and the SIS). Pros All of Rediker’s product line is priced to give you the best value for your money. Our school’s previous SIS was 25% more expensive annually and delivered half the product quality. As for AdminPlus, it is easy to use, and given the amount of data available (both preprogrammed and user-added), it is remarkable that they made it so easy to navigate. The layout is great, and there are options to customize, which is great given the overwhelming amount of information available. Cons I am unsure if this is a genuine “con,” but Rediker offers numerous data fields, some preprogrammed and others that the system allows you to add. The amount of data can be overwhelming at first. However, if you take the time and customize the data fields and screens as needed, it becomes manageable. If you are coming from the database side and are used to that, you may struggle a bit, as a few of the features are still only in the database. But, as they transition parts into AdminPlus, you need to be in the pure database side. Additionally, as they transition, each step is flawless, making AdminPlus even better to use. We also wanted a company that would build our website and host it, which many do, but Rediker’s package was the best option. Switched from [MySchoolWorx](https://www.capterra.com/p/145881/MySchoolWorx/) We were not satisfied with the depth of the product. It has very limited options, data fields, and data sets. We also found the price to be very high compared to what they offered, particularly in relation to companies that provided more in-depth services. Pros Some of my favorite features of AdminPlus include: the relative ease of learning to use the system, the ease of finding information on students, the schedule building, and the ability to create various forms/documents within the system such as transcripts and report cards. I also appreciate that AdminPlus securely stores all the school's information, and it is an easy tool to access from anywhere. Cons The system doesn't always load smoothly, or takes a significant period of time to retrieve information. Sometimes the system has crashed on me as well. With adminplus.com getting up and running, there are still some of the items that I would like to be use that are not yet available, however they provide regular updates and constant communication about what is coming up. Whether talking about all the features and components that Admin Plus has to the second to none tech support, Admin Plus holds a critical role in supporting the mission of our school. Having used Administrator's Plus since the "days of DOS" to the present utilizing Administrator's Plus cloud based features, Rediker continues to develop and evolve to maintain itself as a leader in school information systems. The Rediker team is in tune with the needs and wants of school administrators and support staff and develop programs that are relevant and practical for school administrators. Administrator's Plus has an easy to use interface. Many options and features can be accessed in multiple ways (using keyboard shortcuts, using right click on the mouse, using a menu item at the top of the screen, etc) which allows for users with different skill levels to access and enter information in a way they are comfortable with. There are hundreds of customizable reports that can be generated. These reports also have the capability to be emailed directly from within Administrator's Plus. If more customizable data is needed for third party programs or uploads, don't worry, all data can be easily exported to customizable excel spreadsheets. Another great feature is the portfolio option. This attaches any kind of document/picture/graphic to a student's or staff member's record. Can we say the inevitable paperless office! Lastly, you cannot mention Administrator's Plus without talking about the Rediker customer support and customer relationships. The tech support is very responsive and helpful. They patiently can walk you through any module of Administrator's Plus and even remote in to help more complicated questions or issues that might arise. Through tech support, road shows, and general communications, Rediker values their relationships with their customers. The roadshows that are intended for prospective customers are often attended by current Rediker customers. I am not sure of many other companies would feel that confident of their product that they would risk that. Overall, Administrator's Plus is an amazing product. I would highly recommend this to any school of any size. The program is completely customizable for the school with a student population of 150 or 3,000! Review Source TM Tina\` M. So basically, this software allows me to function and do my job. Pros The Lookup feature and the Export to Excel feature -- and so of course, everything else between those that make my work very possible. i appreciate the big task that goes into creating an SIS; but that you are able to respond to our needs outside of the database such as exporting data is a boon. Cons That the Lookup cannot be used to enter data as one would Excel. I know, it's a future feature, maybe -- which goes to show that I've found little that I do not like about the software. There is the Schedule Builder which I really do not enjoy working on -- but then scheduling is a beast in itself -- so it's not necessarily the software per se. And then there is the Contacts Database -- that, I do not comprehend what you're aiming for in that one. Review Source CC Candace C. You can customize any report, screens, etc. 2. The core support staff has remained fairly constant over the years and are very pleasant to work with. 3. While I have not been in a while, when I was a newer user I went to the training seminars - they were great. I especially found the evenings when there was time to sit with programmers very productive - I got lots of little things taken care of during those times. Cons 1\. How flexible the software is for each user! Often after updates some specs need to be "touched" for users. 2. While understandable, at the busy times of year is it hard to get through to support. 3. We are Cloud hosted, and some processes seem slow. 4. The Silverlight/HTML5 issue has been a strain. While much better now, we lost some trust with the teachers over this. Review Source JB Jarryd B. Pros My favorite part of the software is the portabilty when using the app. As an administrator, you need access to information when you are out in thebuidingor elsewhere on campus. Pair that portability with the multiple services offered and you have the total package for an LMS and databse combination. Very pleased with this program. Cons If there was a con for this software, I would say it is the inability to respond to parent generated emails from the plus portals side of tghe program. In addition, the software is excellent, however, we pay a great deal of money to use it and training costs are FAR TOO HIGH for us to be able to regularly send new office personnel to them. Keeping up and Moving Forward" January 9, 2015 5.0 We have really been impressed with how much Rediker has moved ahead with Admin Plus and kept up with evolving technologies. Features which have been made available for teachers and administrators offer significant productivity improvements and convenience. In particular, access to our SIS via mobile devices for checking schedules and attendance anywhere with internet connectivity -whether in the hallway or out on the athletic field - allows us to sync and obtain emergency information from anywhere, and this is a huge advantage for us. Integration with other Learning Management Systems (LMSs) has also made the flow of data more timely and efficient. Notre Dame Academy has been using Admin Plus since 1999. I came on in 2005 and have seen the product refined and updated over the years. Although Rediker has grown during this time and added many more staff members, the same level of knowledgeable and courteous help from the Rediker support team is always available. We are a small school who services a large diverse economic demographic. Every penny we save counts. We have been using Administrators Plus software since 1991. We've been through many changes and revisions with the company: product name change, expansion of the product line and the transition to a Windows based platform. So what has kept us with the company for over 20 years? Several things: 1. the quality of the product, 2. the variety of options which it offers allowing schools to adapt the program to its budget and its specific needs, 3. the customer service, which is absolutely the best I have ever found, and 4. the bang we get for our buck. Just this year, I left yet another software company and brought more of my business needs to Rediker software. I'm excited about benefits the teacher and parent platform and will bring to our school. Through the years many companies have approached us about using their products., my thought has always been, "Why would I use the second best product?" Review Source
