Customer support is very quick and very good. Pros The ability to design any report you can think of in your own format and style is powerful. Ability to transfer your Excel knowledge across is useful. Cons Despite the product being Excel based, the learning curve to become competent with the product is steep. The customer support and the account manager are very helpful and fast response, mostly we all are served well. We can integrate with many ERP and data source, also reports can be combine across companies. Imagine we custom report built in, it will cost much more than we purchase this Jet Report license. so yeah, so far, it's satisfying tools for reporting. We can run with schedule and run it in background so it will not affecting our other activities in Excel. Pros Easy to use as this tool is an add on excel so we can combine with excel formula. Formula really easy to understand. Many source data we can integrate with. The collection and access of data in real time helps to collect new data and incorporate it into each of the reports you are making. This helps a lot, since the data collection is automated and allows you to save time and money, since it is done automatically. All of this collected data can be used within each report you are making. Cons I have not noticed and type of negative factor about Jet Reports, due to its excellent compatibility with Excel service and BI services. In general, this platform has helped to make better decisions within the company, and I consider that we have not presented any type of failure or a negative factor during the use of this platform, to generate new financial reports and financial expenses schedules. Cons If you don't have knowledge on how to build reports in JET through excel, it becomes very difficult. I wish there was a wizard or drag and drop option like we have in Salesforce.com reports. Cons Not so much a fault of Jet, but in Business Central there are so many tables and options it can be hard to know where to pull data from. Cons The more complex reports may render blank rows and values, but with Excel tips/tricks, users are able to improve the appearance and report details. I would recommend Power BI against Jet Reports as the BI solution. Pros The cube and data warehouse for the out of box data structure of the existing ERP systems made the development of the reports to be easier. Cons The complexity of the infrastructure requires people who has advanced IT skills and SQL query skills to maintain it and develop custom cubes.
